SOD Builders

We were looking for a construction company for a home addition project. SOD Builders made a good presentation and their bid was fairly competitive. They also had a bunch of positive reviews. So we decided to work with them.
Their crews have been very professional and very courteous. They have accommodated our requests, including small ones like making sure they keep the fence gate closed so our dog does not escape. :)
For communication, they use an online tool, which works well. Whenever I have asked questions, someone from their Encino team has responded fairly soon.
I am pleased with the work so far. Though our project is still in progress, so I will update my review in a few weeks after everything is done.

We contracted SOD Builders primarily to remodel our master bath and bedroom. Major additional services included combining two adjacent closets to form one large walk-​in closet, replacing all upstairs doors & baseboards, and texturing/​painting walls & ceilings.
From our first meeting with Eran Drori, we were impressed by his level of professionalism, honesty and knowledge. As we walked thru the project we had in mind, Eran was able to answer all of our questions honestly and also provided great ideas that ultimately saved us a lot of time and money. The end result surpassed our expectations, and we are very particular when it comes to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The job took about 6 weeks, and came in on budget and on time. The first thing they do is to cover all the floors to minimize the amount of construction dirt, and isolate the work area to keep the dust contained.
SOD Builders’ commitment to customer satisfaction, and Eran’s attention to detail are both attributes that we highly valued and appreciated. If we weren’t happy with something (not very often!), the issue was dealt with quickly. Communication is top notch — emails, texts and phone calls are answered very quickly.
All of the trades people are highly skilled in their specific areas of expertise. They were all very respectful, genuinely cheerful, hard working and often stayed late to finish the daily task. You could tell they loved what they do. We set very high expectations for the entire project, and on the master bath finishes in particular. We were impressed with the tile work in the shower and floor, but all the guys did a great job, and we are very happy with the end result.
We have recommended SOD Builders to several of our friends without reservation, which is something that we only do if the project meets/​exceeds expectations for what we paid.

We had Oren and SOD Builders do a complete remodel of our master bathroom and we couldn’t have been happier with the results.
Their initial quote was very reasonable, everyone on their crew that worked in our home was professional, and they were very flexible when we had minor changes that came up during the project. It was about as low-​stress as a construction project is going to get.
We plan on remodeling our kitchen in the next year or two, and we will use them again.

Last year, Oren and the team from S.O.D. did an amazing job remodeling my kitchen (a complete gut to the studs and build something totally new kind of remodel). It was a very large job and it involved a very unique, half round island.
The cabinet team did an astounding job of laying out the island and all of the cabinetry is top-​notch Grade A work! Very impressive indeed, as was the design of the room itself.
Oren stopped by frequently to check on the job, always followed through on his promises, and even helped me out with one or two touch-​ups after the job was long ago finished!
The answer to the most important question (would I use SOD again for future work?) is a resounding YES!

We just finished a redo of our kitchen with SOD builders. We had the cabinets refaced, new counter tops and back splash installed, replaced some of the appliances, and had the kitchen and dining room painted. They did a great job at a reasonable price. What stood out above all was their interest in complete customer satisfaction. Eran was the project manager and he made himself available at all hours throughout the job. His responses to our questions were prompt and helpful. The people doing the work were consistently polite, friendly, responsive, and qualified. We have had other work done on our house recently and in the past, but this was our best experience. They completed the project ahead of schedule. Any hiccups along the way were handled professionally with a prime concern that we were completely satisfied with the work. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
