Exactly what I expect when going to a Japanese Shiseido. Beyond courteous staff, A wide selection of products, including benefique, and always leaving feeling confident about my purchase and sent home with a nice handful of samples, often ones that go well with my skin or are relevant to my purchase. The lady who has helped me every time I’ve made a purchase here is incredibly kind, and cordial.

shiseido and the face shop are the only cosmetic brands I use on my skin and face. I absolutely hate it when people try to be pushy towards customers just to make a sale especially towards me just because I look young for my age! but the ladies here at shiseido never tried to milk me for my money and were honest when I tried out their lipsticks. they even gave me samples, but they ran out of my shade(RD750). Instead of pushing me for other products other than lipstick, the lady suggested the new shiseido inside hankook market. next day she made sure I bought the lipstick. I was told too that they make orders every 3 months. if I had the monies, I buy more products from this shiseido.

Although I’ve passed by this Shiseido counter for years at Mitsuwa, this is the first time I shopped there. When I was younger, I resisted Shiseido products because I wanted to rebel against products that my mom and grandma used. However, as I’ve gotten wiser and older, I’ve realized that Shiseido shades are the best fit for Asian skintones. I swear by Shiseido’s eyebrow pencil and eyelash primer, but today I picked up my first Shiseido lipstick — Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer in PK301 aka Pretty. Etsuko helped me out and she was very patient. I must have tried on 10 different shades before I found the right color. What I liked most about her was her honesty. I previously purchased my Shiseido products from department stores. Sometimes I feel like the dept store cosmetics salespeople are more interested in making a sale than helping you choose the right color and basically, tell you everything you try on looks good. I will definitely be purchasing all of my future Shiseido products from this location. It’s not busy and they carry the full line. Glad I stopped in today. Oh yeah, they also carry a lot of Shiseido products that aren’t available in department stores.

I love Shiseido’s products. I use the Pureness line. I like this location because it is not busy. I am also greeted with a smile and given lots of samples with my purchase. This stuff is not cheap and the sales associates try their best to give extra items when you make a big purchase. I usually ask for small samples that I can use when traveling.

If you want a 1 on 1 session with a very friendly lady, come here for a non-pushy cosmetics shopping. They only carry Shiseido, obviously, so don’t expect other brands to be here. For those first timers, this is not a MAC type dramatic style… although you can find similar colors in quality forms… I think it leans more toward bobby brown and Lancome. My mother is quite a regular and so am I when out of lipstick or eyeliner. They have an adorable hot pink color that’s below overwhelming and an Accentuating Cream Eyeliner that comes with a brush. Super beautiful application that smoothly draws a long-lasting line of concentrated colour to emphasize your eyes. You can obviously create various lines from a skinny natural eyeliner look, alllllll the way to a catty tail. I encourage anyone to stop by one of these days when you shop for Japanese groceries or after a quick lunch at the ‘cafeteria.’ You won’t be disappointed if you decide to purchase something, or if you don’t purchase anything, you might also score some samples if you’re nice enough… When you purchase cosmetics, almost always the lady will hook you up with a gift set or a complimentary something. Great hospitality, ladies! Not sure if they do make up on site, but I will ask next time and update my post!
