Salvadore Vega the Deep Tissue Doc

I wish Dr. Vega lived closer to me. Don’t let the chiropractor part fool you, he is not a quack like so many in the field. (By quack I mean those shops that try to get you in and out as fast as possible.) He is a healer first and foremost. Between massage, careful attention to detail of your pain levels and the fact that he is extremely strong and can use it for deep tissue but can still be extremely gentle makes him a shining beacon in his field. I wish he lived closed to me so I could see him more often.
A little about my life of pain and chiropractors which will explain why I give him a 5 star. I have 2 herniated disks in my neck and have lived with chronic back pain and migraines for the majority of my life. I have seen the kind of chiropractors who get you in and out as fast as possible, no heat, no massage, no warmpup at all. Just crack crack crack then turn you lose only to have a headache 15 miuntes later, their money made and on to the next victim.
Dr. Vega takes his time to warm up your body first knowing that it will help for longer lasting results. When he does ‘crack’ you back into place it is with very slow precision movements with his thumbs, traction or slowly using your bodies own weight to get things back into alignment. Instead of needing to go lie down after seeing him I feel like I can go run a marathon.
Again, i wish he lived closer. He’s not my every time chiropractor because of it but if I am really hurting and in extreme need I make the trip to the South Bay to see him.
