Nancy J Bergmann, DC

By far the best chiropractor I’ve EVER seen. Have seen her for both my shoulders, years apart. The MD was ready to do surgery on my left shoulder (!), and after a few visits with Nancy — her adjustments and teaching me how to heal myself with exercises — viola! no pain and no surgery! Just saw her again for a similar issue with my right shoulder and again she rocked it! Can’t say enough about how great she is. Give her a try and you will not be disappointed. I tried to find someone closer (I drive 40 mins and it’s so totally worth it), but ended up spending $ 300 with a local chiro who did nothing. So when someone says a «huge consultation fee» (and still gives her 5 stars by the way), please consider how much money you may have already spent and gotten little or no results.

Follow up it’s 2012 and due to the information and stretches she gave me I am still back issue free. I paid the huge consultation fee but it’s been worth it because i haven’t been back and I have more control over my back. Save the time on your weekly chiropractor appointments, go to Nancy and be patient she is booked for weeks at a time.

I wish Dr. Bergmann had more reviews so you can all know what the other reviewer and I do … she is amazing! :) What I love about her is that she teaches you how to treat your own ailments (what supplements to take, certain stretches, movements, and exercises); she slowly weans your dependency on her, and before you know it, you will only need to go to her for «tune ups» (that’s what I do now).
Her prices are average for what I’ve seen, but worth it. (I believe $ 245 for an hour initial consult and $ 195 for routine visits.) I think of it as a combination of what I would spend on Kaiser co-​pay, prescriptions, and massages.
She can diagnose what’s going on in a second. She has much knowledge! I drive all the way down from Pleasanton to see her.
As a person she is also very friendly and funny and makes you feel comfortable in her office. Again, highly recommended :) — I only have good things to say!
