Round Table Pizza

Totally screwed up my online order. Took well over an hour to deliver ¼ mile door to door, and $ 65 for 2 large pizzas and 6 wings??? It’s pizza guys, not rocket science…

This round table stands above some of the other round table locations. We always go for lunch, and my favorite thing is the lunch special with a personal pizza and salad bar. The salad bar is the highlight. It has a wide variety of toppings and always tastes fresh and well cared for. The pizza is always very good too. My favorite is the white sauce and cheese, and I think round table’s white sauce is the best out there. The employee is always friendly and remembers our order every time we come in. I recommend this location for lunch. You can’t beat the price for salad, pizza and a drink!

New owners! I felt like royality. Everyone was REALLY nice. Got the BBQ Chicken pizza. It was awesome! I’ll be back!

This location has really stepped it up! In fact our pizzas were so good tonight we had to call them and let them know how great they were! For the last few months we’ve noticed the pizza has been amazing! As it turns out, the restaurant is under new ownership and I believe new management. We had always ordered here because it was close, now we go because it’s fantastic! We do both delivery and dine in here. The employees are super friendly. Great place to catch the game. The salad bar is always wonderful and well stocked, beer is icy cold! And did I mention the pizza is FANTASTIC!!! If you stopped going here, give them another try. You won’t be disappointed.

I actually created an account to post this — you can’t fathom my how annoyed I am right at these guys.
In short — they just don’t care about anything but money.
We have a serious allergy in my house — no matter what I do, they don’t listen and deliver the food late and with the allergen. Then refuse to fix the problem. I understand folks get annoyed when you need things prepared a certain way — but mushrooms can require a hospital visit. It’s really that simple — and having to toss it out the last 2 orders is unacceptable.
I asked they come pick it up and replace it after the last time — but was offered 15% off. Was eventually promised a credit for our last order (they wouldn’t refund), which wasn’t added to our account. Was told we would only be charged for a small prior, but that didn’t happen either. They are curt when they talk to me like I somehow caused this issue. I can appreciate folks try to scam, but I’ve quite literally had to throw the last two orders in the garbage after verifying with the cashier twice. It’s not worth the risk.
The food is decent — but for over $ 35 for a large pizza and soda that is essentially fast food, is just not worth it. If it’s late and wrong — its not even convenient. Save yourself the hassle and order from Pizza My Heart or Paxzis over in the Pruneyard. They don’t always deliver — but have never made a mistake and actually put notes in the system to confirm with me if I order something questionable that I may not be aware of.
Other RTP have been good, have ordered from many, many different ones over the years. This one just is bad.

I went to this place to order a pizza, but decided to just have a fountain drink first. The guy charged me $ 2.60 for a small soda!
Next, I drove to the Round Table on Stevens Creek near Winchester and did the same thing. They only charged $ 1.00 for a bigger drink.

FYI if you call in and pre order a pizza, your pizza will most likely be ready, but they will make you wait 15minutes to get it. It’s typically that adolescent boy behind the counter who gets a kick out of it. So save yourselves the trouble and not buy a stinking pizza from here.

We just ordered a pizza and found a hair in it. I asked for them to make me another and deliver for the inconvenience. But he said they couldnt. I asked for a refund and he said he’d just cancel my order and hung up the phone on me. Very rude and no customer service. I found hair in their pizza! Never ever going back to this place.

I’ve never been in this location because I usually order online for delivery a day or two prior — the delivery man is usually on time or few minutes early and he’s also friendly which is a plus. Pizzas are decent. Coworkers have no complaints.

This place sucks. Ordered online, and arrived about 5 minutes after the stated pickup time, just to be safe. The morose adolescent rang me up and said that it would be a couple minutes wait. I sat down, and after 15 additional minutes finally got fed up and asked if he knew when it would be ready. He looked down and unapologetically, pulled the pizzas out of their cabinet, and handed them to me.
First and last time I’ll be going there. There are plenty of other better options in the area… btw, the place was a sty, junk all over the floor — didn’t seem sanitary at all.

Man the reviews for this RT sure have a common theme: rude, unprofessional girl on the phone!
My wife signed up for Round Table Coupon Club. Yesterday she got an electronic coupon for this location. When we called to order using the coupon, the woman who answered told us that coupon «wasn’t coming up» on her screen and she couldn’t honor it. No attempt made to try something else or accommodate us. For her, that was the easiest solution: tell the customer «No» and move on. We tried to get to to understand this was a coupon that was e-​mailed to us by Round Table, but got nowhere.
We went to another RT location and got the deal we couldn’t get at 1125 S Bascom. I like RT very much, the pizza is pretty dang good for a chain, but this location does not deserve patronage. HIRE BETTER STAFF!

Periodically order from this location, always delivery. But decided to pick up on this a cation ordered two pizzas and garlic bread, both pizzas were over cooked the toppings being almost burned and the pizza hard. very disappointing.

We got two pizzas — a special and a garlic chicken. Counter staff was nice, pizzas were awesome and service was quick. We’ll be back.

Love the Round Table. You won’t get any perks here, reminds me of my home town RT. Small means cozy and this has it.

Bad service. Went Saturday for lunch. Place is understaffed. The one guy working the front of the house could care less about customer service. 15 minute wait for burnt pizza. Other RT locations put this one to shame.

I love Round Table, especially the triple pepperoni pizza. The service is great, I have only had a small handful of problems with my orders that I have placed here, and when there was an issue I was either refunded, or was given the correct order free of charge.

So we order from this location about 3 times a month. We live about 1.5 miles away, so delivery has never been an issue. This time, everything was a problem.
The girl who answered the phone, who would NOT give her name, was extremely rude! We tried ordering a large half cheese, half pepperoni. She tells me it counts as TWO toppings, so it’s going to be extra. I argue, & I think I won, so I move on to the next part of the order, the garlic twists. She gives me the total, which sounds right (because it’s the same exact order we made last time). So about 40 minutes goes by (normal), & the delivery guy is at my door. He hands me the receipt & guess what… NO GARLIC BREAD! According to the receipt, she went ahead & skipped the twists & charged for extra toppings on a HALF pepperoni pizza.
I calmly explained to the delivery guy that I am refusing the order, & why, & he was more than understanding, telling me that they have received plenty of complaints about this girl. I do feel bad for him, but sorry, I am not going to pay extra for less toppings & it wasn’t even my whole order!
Bottom line is I will not be calling them again. I will make the drive to a decent place.

I’ve loved Round Table all of my life. Even as my pizza-​palette became ever more sophisticated as I matured, RT has always remained a favorite. Generally nowadays I prefer indie pizza joints like Cicero’s (Cupertino), Golden Mushroom (Santa Clara), or Slice of NY (San Jose), and small chains like Blue Line, and Paxti’s, but there’s times where nothing else will do the job other than a King Arthur’s Supreme or even just a pepperoni/​cheese from the makers of «the last honest pizza».
Recently, my wife and I ordered a simple half pepperoni, half cheese from this location on Bascom, which happens to be just slightly closer to us than the location on Lincoln (a really SOLID Round Table location, in my opinion). We’ve had a few pies from Bascom before with no problems. Not the best RT, not the worst. This last experience will guarantee that we never return again.
Delivery time was fine, which earned a half-​star from me. Also, it’s cheese, bread, and meat, so. yay! There’s your other half-​star, Bascom, because everything else about that particular pizza was at best, lackluster and at worst, raw and inedible. The crust was somehow both burnt on the edges, yet undercooked and doughy in a lot of parts. It also took on the faint, second-​hand flavor of their garlic cheese sticks, similar to when you eat anything at the airport or anything from a food court with a Cinnabon in it. In all honesty, it nearly made me vomit. The side that was supposed to be cheese had large areas covered only with sauce and, despite the fact I ordered and paid for extra pepperoni, there was hardly any to be found.
As I mentioned earlier, it’s bread, cheese, and meat, three of my four food groups. Just that alone USUALLY saves most mediocre pizzas, but we ended up tossing out over half of the pie, as it was not suitable for consumption. Most folks would call for a refund. We didn’t this time around. I discovered recently that the Willow Glen RT will deliver to us, too, so we have chalked it up to a lesson learned.

HORRIBLE service! We ordered a pizza last night to be delivered– the girl on the phone had a clear attitude issue and acted as if she couldnt be bothered. That should have been sign one. Then an hour later when we hadnt gotten our food and we called– no one answered. My boyfriend drove over and they had closed! Are you kidding me? Best yet, we paid with our card over the phone and they most certainly charged us. So we had no dinner, no one to talk to about the horrible/​no service, and were charged $ 40.00
When I called this morning to let the manager know what had occurred he seemed sorry enough but only offered a pizza for free and a sorry. He let me know that if after the weekend the charge didnt fall off they would also reimburse us. So good enough, although I honestly feel like «homegirl» on the other end of the phone should have been let go as I would have been disgusted and highly embarrassed of my employees lack of class and customer service who clearly didnt feel the need to put our order through.
Tonight we tried one more time for our pizza. I called and spoke with another «wonderful» girl who couldnt be more bothered with us. When I told her we had a free pizza on our account she said she couldnt find it then when I explained why we had it she cut me off and told me she was «aware» and proceeded to seem annoyed at the situation. Seems to me that this entire place is a joke and we will NOT be ordering from there EVER again. WORST customer serviceI have ever received.
I am sure they will spit in our pizza… Awesome.
