Roby Canopies & Tarps

I built a custom carport using many of Robies steel tubing connectors and a very large grey tarp. He was very helpful and has a great selection in stock. It is worth the travel for me (25 miles) to get quality merchandise. I would highly recommend this company for your canopy needs.

Wow! these guys have all kinds of tarps and tools. I needed a tarp for my pickup truck to cover the bed. The truck has a unusual sized bed and places like Home depot didn’t have a size I was happy with. I called here and they had a tarp that was the size i was looking for. They also have a bunch of tools. the best part is that they are reasonably priced.
Also, they have a warehouse location as well as 1 – 2 locations inside of the berryessa flea market. I definitely recommend checking them out for any tarps or tools.

My experience with Roby’s Tarps and Canopies was great. My friend dragged me to go tarp shopping with her (she wanted to find something that would help shade her at Burning Man). When we arrived, there was a man working at the stall who was great and extremely helpful.
I was expecting pretty much only tarps, but WOW was I wrong. There was so much more variety in the items they sold beside their tarps and canopies.
If I could summarize my overall experience it would be:
–Variety of specialized sizes
–Bunch of tarps (great variety of colors)
–Super cheap
–Great service

They sell a lot more than just tarps. Their prices are affordable and the quality of the tarps is great. They were very helpful and I would recommend this place if you want great tarps for a great price.

Roby’s is fantastic for heavy duty tarps, wide range of choices. I had a great experience in my last visit.

I would NOTrecommend this place. I called to see if they had 5×7 tarps in clear. The guy I talked to said they had all colors. I asked for the price and he told me $ 7. I drove over there and the place is a mess. It looks like a messy garage. The guy could not find 5×7 clear tarps. He even asked me to help him search his messy garage. He was able to find it in blue and white so I was considering buying the white tarp instead.
I then asked for some bungee ties and he had 2 types and tried to sell me the more expensive one. I asked why it was more expensive and all he could provide was it was higher quality. The bags of bungee ties did not have any labels so I could not confirm what he said.
I then wanted to purchase the items and the total should have been $ 7 for tarp and $ 3 for the bungee ties but he was charging me $ 12. Now he was saying the clear tarps were $ 9 instead of $ 7.
At that point I decided not to buy from him. He told me that was fine and that I wasted his time.
So to summarize, the guy lies about pricing, tries to rip you off and says you are wasting his time even though he is the one that is selling to you.

Roby’s Tarps is an excellent source for cheap and hard to find tarping and shade structure material.
They operate out of a warehouse space that is filled with interesting knicknacks and tools. There are MANY other items for sale here besides tarps and canopies. However, the tarp, canopy and fixture assortment is huge.
I have not been able to find anyone who can beat the prices here as well.
