I love the kabob here! I’ve been to most of the Bay Area’s Persian Cuisine and the kabob here is amazing. I definitely recommend the soltani and the ground chicken koobideh.

alright so i never actually went to this place but i got it delivered through door dash about 4 times already, portions are big and filling, meat is cooked the way it should be(light on the spices) koobideh is good, chicken is ehhhhh bland tastes. the worst thing is the rice its TERRIBLE! it tastes like dirty tap water(no spices at all), and it did all 4 times that I’ve tried it. will i eat here again? doubt it but if i do i will bring a bag of salt and sumac(spice that goes with kabob and rice) with me

I’ve been going here since they first opened– EXCELLENT Persian food– everything is delicious and the woman that owns/manages it is very nice.

Found this hidden gem by accident. Huge portions for a relatively cheap price. If you’re a first timer I would recommend the koobideh plate.

The lady working there was incredibly rude. Came in to pick up the order and she doesn’t even greet us, just asks in the most stern tone«you picking up?» We said yes so I give her my card to pay and the lady grabs the card off the table and comes back and throws it on the table as rudely as possible along with our food. Never coming back here again even though the food was decent! A business isn’t anything without proper ownership!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent, no frills. Great portions and the watermelon at the end of the meal was a nice touch!

This is the place to taste the real Persian food! I have tried almost all the Persian restaurants in bay area but non of them are as tasty as Reyhan’s!

Good service, ambience was nice, food was okay. I hope they will provide a sauce for the kabob

The location is freakazoidal, totally outside of where you would expect a good kebab house to be, but that is a good thing, it keeps all of the willow glen and almaden trendy house hookers away with their stretched out Cadillac SUVs. You will typically just see hard core Persian diners here. I like that, and I am not Persian. Authentic down to the clientele. The kebabs are porn star quality, melt in your mouth good… check it.

Best persain kabobs and food in sanjose. Exspecially the lamb kabob is so good it feels like your eating sirloin steak and you really taste the juiceyness of persain kabobs.

Before I came to Reyhan, the only thing I knew about Persian food was… uhm… well… Okay, fine. I may not know about Persian food, but at least I know where it is on the map. It’s right next to… uhhhh…hmmm… well… oh forget it. I admit it. I didn’t know anything. The only I knew about Persia was that Jake Gyllenhaal starred in a movie with the name in the title. As you can see, Georgraphy wasn’t my strong suit in high school. See, I can’t even spell it correctly. Anyway, luckily, I had a co-worker of mine who could guide me thru the menu. He’s from Iran and I think Persia is «near» there. Along with our Koobideh and Lamb Shank special(I believe only on Fridays and I think it’s called Baghali Polo Ba Mahiche), we had an eggplant appetizer(Kashke Bademjan) and a soup. The soup was ok, but the eggplant dish was really good. But, I didn’t want to fill up on it too much, because I was pretty excited for our main dishes. I had the lamb shank based on my friends recommendation. It is braised lamb that was probably going for a few hours, because it was extremely tender and flavorful. It is served on a bed of herb rice. While both the lamb shank and rice were awesome the way it was served, my friend told me to sprinkle this purple powder on it. What the hell, I’m game. I did and boy was it good. I think it was magic flavor crystals because now it was über-flavorful. The powder is actually ground sumac. What is sumac? It’s delicious is what it is! It gives it sort of a tangy/tart bite. The one down side here, though(sarcasm, incoming!), is that he let me try his koobideh and chicken kabob. Now, I don’t know what I want to get when I come back! The place is small, but we came right when they opened, so we got a seat pretty easy. I hear it gets busy during lunch though, so be warned. The owner was very nice. Or, at least I think she was nice. Her voice was nice, at least. But, for all I know, maybe she was saying to my friend that my hair was greasy or that my fly was open. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt.

Brought my Aunty here for her Early Birthday Dinner. Good food(combo chicken/beef kabob) with sub-par service. I tried not to compare our service with the other two tables and it all came down to the owner — her demeanor just isn’t friendly and rather off putting. I realize that it may just be her personality, but it made asking for anything rather uncomfortable. A little on the price side :/but they stay busy which is a good sign. Another negative was that they were out of Baklava. The owner’s attitude ‘I am who I am and I make no apologies for that’ — which is okay, but not for customer service purposes. PRO: Great food Cons: Pricey Lack of space Lack of Customer Service Wait can be a bit lengthy Odd Location(But close to me)

The food is not too bad except for the service. The lady never smiles and when we asked for butter to go she said they don’t give out packaged butter. Terrible service. The food is not amazing, I have better kabobs elsewhere. Don’t waste money coming here.

Not sure what has happened to this place! In the past, at least the food was descent. Got to give it to them though, one thing has always been stable here and hasn’t changed a bit and that is the POORSERVICE! And now the food! Really wanted to give them a chance but we’ve left there disappointed every single time! Have we learned our lesson, yet? Ooooooh YES! The woman who is the owner/server, NEVER smiles, NEVER checks to see if everything is ok, NEVER refills your drinks!!! And if you want extra bread, butter, refills, or something else, it takes forever to get her attention and even then it’ll be another 5 – 10 min until she brings it to your table; very uncomfortable situation! A couple of times when we ordered our food, she brought a SMALL amount of rice for each of us and combined all of our kabobs on one single platter! What? You’ve got to be kidding me! Dude, first of all, we Persians love rice! So don’t you be going stingy on rice! Seriously! It seems like she’s always in a bad mood, grumpy, mad @ the world, extremely unapproachable! Just an absolute horrible personality and very disengaged with her customers! She wouldn’t look so old if she could just smile a little! There are so many of us that won’t even step a foot @ this restaurant anymore! One of the biggest reason we don’t go here any longer is the kabobs are either too salty or too blunt; either too dry or not done(part of the chicken kebob was brought raw to our table & you could see the red meat in Koobideh; really disgusting!!!) I must add for what you get, even considering other dishes, it’s very over priced! Also, there must be no more than 4 – 5 space to park your car! And finally the bathroom… OMG! I would rather«hold my you know what» than go to their filthy disgusting smelly bathroom, if you can call it that!!! For a real authentic Persian Cuisine, I recommend going to Ziba in San Jose, Maykadeh in San Francisco or Lotus in Pleasanton. You will leave with a happy satisfied tummy and a GREATSERVICE!

Not sure what happened to this place but it’s not a good change. The lady was rude and she didn’t seem interested in helping her customers. She looked like she wanted to be elsewhere. It’s a very small place to begin with and can get pretty noisy inside. They compound that by blasting their TV that’s stuck on Iranian TV. The worst part was the food however. Overpriced and undercooked. We ordered the chicken kabob and they folded over chicken thighs to make a large chunk. It might look good presentation wise but several pieces were extremely raw!!! That is not healthy and I cannot believe that a restaurant would offer this to their customers. I’ll never be back again.

Reyhan’s is really good if you eat in or order for pickup! The seasoning is always on point and the portions are good. I love the koobideh and the masto khiar! :)(I hope I spelled that right) :)

Literally my favorite Persian restaurant in the Bay Area. My family and I have been coming here for as long as I could remember, and if anything it’s only gotten better! I literally recommend everything! The koobideh is always on point and the bone in chicken(joojeh) is so juicy it’s ridiculous. Definitely give this place a try!

Sometimes my wife and I part ways when it comes giving a restaurant a Unilocal rating. I would give this place a 3, but my wife insisted on giving it a 4, and says she definitely wants to go back. So please take that for what it’s worth. All the reviews have commented on the odd location of this place – yes, it’s true. In the middle of industrial nowhere-ness. And the place is teeny tiny inside. Get ready to be slightly uncomfortable seated next to strangers. We had: COMBOKABOBPLATE — My wife loved all of the kabobs. For me, they were OK. The ground beef one was very different, sort of partially ground, so I struggled with the texture. Maybe too authentic for me? I’m used to the Indian style kabob that is regular ground beef with a mix of spices. But definitely the real deal here, comes out nicely charred with roasted tomatoes and a plate of fresh basil. ROASTEDEGGPLANTAPPETIZER — THIS was my favorite. I could eat an entire meal of this dish. Served with the flatbread for dipping, it was de-lish-iss! JALAPEÑOKABOB — Not worth the side order. I imagined a whole kabob of jalapeños, but what came was ONE charred jalapeño. It was OK, but not worth paying for a side order for just one! Parking is a challenge for sure. The server, who I’m sure is the owner, was very helpful and friendly. We had no problems with attitude or rudeness as others have mentioned. My wife will want to come back here, and me, I could take it or leave it. I prefer De Afghanan Kabob House in Fremont.

Yaaaaaay ! I was looking for a Persian restaurant to try since I miss my friends momma cooking. We ordered the combo and it was just enough for the two of us . I like how they offered basil, onion, and limes which are my favorites so that’s another plus in my book. I enjoyed the chicken and the ground beef. Surprisingly it was very juicy but the filet mignon was a bit dry. Overall I would definitely come back and try the salmon and beef stew.
