Walking into San Jose airport I thought to myself«Self, airport food almost always sucks and is WAY over priced. So the fact you’re starving is a bad thing.» As I trudge through the Southwest terminal thinking I’m about to settle for something I spy(with my one good eye) Pizza My Heart! «Self, you’re saved!!!» Just like the several other locations I’ve visited the menu is the same… Wait a tick you say? The same? Airport eateries always gouge you because … well, because they can! Not here though. I slice here is the same price as it is on the other side of the TSA line in town. Who does this? Smart people that’s who! If they don’t have what you’re looking for ready, hang tight. It’s coming out shortly. These guys are bustin’ their butts from the second they open. As I sat and ate my slice(s) at their tables I watched a line form and then stay consistent the entire time. I got there at just the right moment and slices were flying across the counter at an alarming rate and they kept up. Two slices of Big Sur and I’m a happy guy!!! Hint: Order your pizza and you can also take it over to the sports bar next door and get a cocktail to go with it and there’s a few tv’s to see whichever game you’d like to watch. It’s Thursday… I have a slice in my plans for my flight out tonight. See you all there!

Ordered the Big Sur as I usually do when passing through this airprort. It seems this experience is going to be different than what I’m accustomed to. Upon ordering I was told it would take 11 – 12 minutes. I started this review after 20 and still no pizza.

Portion is large Toppings are lacking… Needs way more cheese & veggies for me Crust super thin but not crunchy thin kinda soggy thin Overall average. If your really hungry it could be great bc of portion size but if your not super hungry it is just so so What I did like better than the pizza as the shark repellant habanero sauce…

SJC, or Norman Mineta International, is easily one of the best airports ever. It looks just super awesome inside, and the food options are plentiful(LOOKSANGRILYATLAX). Pizza My Heart is one of those nice places to have in an airport. It’s QUICK, EASY, INEXPENSIVE(sorta), ANDDELICIOUS. I got a slice of sausage and pepperoni here because I was hungry as a hippopotamus, and I got that cool little triangular pizza box for a single slice, so I felt like I was stacking paper to the ceiling and riding on 24 inch chrome. I didn’t like how you can’t even get a cup of water here, though. They told me to go to the place next door and ask, which of course is kind of weird to do. So I ended up just drinking water out of the water fountain. Welp. In any case, my slice of pizza was really good, but not unlike any other Pizza My Heart. This location is just super convenient, and if you actually want to hold yourself over for less than $ 5, you can’t go wrong here with a slice. Step it up, LAX.

I enjoy pizza my heart pizza and was happy and suprised that they have a kiosk at the airport. Now I can have the best pizza in the area when I’m leaving for a reminder of what I’ll be missing when I’m gone. Is it the same quality as the capitola/santa cruz locations? due to certain operational issues not always. Is it still a rock solid awesome slice of pizza? YES! Best food deal in san jose airport for sure.

I love this place, such a great concept. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to find another means of storage for a piece of pizza to go. I feel a little sad taking a cardboard triangular box the size of my head for one little slice of pizza to go. For example Costco places theirs on a paper plate and covers it with a piece of foil. Seems more efficient, cost effective, and environmentally responsible. Love their pizza.

This is(by far) the best airport pizza I have ever had! Good joint with friendly employees and a cool surf décor. It is NY style with thin crust and great toppings. Well done lads! Good selection of beverages and salads.

I think this location is A.K.A. «San Jose International Airport» listed as located @ 701 Airport Blvd, San Jose, CA95110. If not, I’m reviewing the wrong location here. I went to the Pizza My Heart located at the Pacific Gateway Concessions in the San Jose Int’l Airport, SWA(Southwest Airlines) departures terminal. The pizza is good, ‘tho expensive for a slice by standard marketplace standards, not by airport community(i.e. usually it’s more expensive to eat in airports) standards. I got a slice of Cheese(no toppings) pizza for $ 4.00. It was good ‘tho, so no complaints on the quality and compared to the other food options of the peer vendors at the airport it’s a comparable deal and was a solid decision for a quick delicious snack that was easy to access, eat and be done with fast. It’s perfect for travelers/traveling(they have an option to dine in and sit down or take it in a box to go). The service is fast and friendly.

Wow I really loved this pizza. I tried the pesto and another piece with lots of meat and big chunks of garlic. Simply really good pizza. And in an airport you really cant find anything better. The pizza was a bit pricey but they know they can charge more so what do you do. You eat it anyway. :)

Even though this is an airport location, the food is on par with the other locations. They have a good variety of pizzas and new ones are always coming out with the high turnover and constant lines.

This Pizza My Heart is brought to us by Pacific Gateway Concessions. The service was prompt and very satisfying. The staff member took my order quickly, warmed up my pizza, and smiled during the entire transaction. There are lots of seats available and drinks are refillable! :) they also have a small repackage section with bottled water, juice, soda, salads, and snacks. I had a great first experience at this airport pizzeria. I will definitely come back for more.

I used to stop in here with some regularity. If my last visit had been my first, however, I likely would not have ever returned: The floor was sticky, the tables were filthy, and there were no other customers present aside from myself. Time to clean clearly does not equal desire to clean. But that was not my first visit and I surely would chalk that episode up to an anomaly… then they quit serving beer. Really? Is it even legal to serve pizza and not even offer beer? smh…

My last trip to Northern California, I went to the Cupertino Pizza My Heart and it was some of the best pizza I have had. When I saw this location in the airport, I got excited at the chance to try it again. Unfortunately, it not only didn’t live up to my previous experience but was also fairly bad. They don’t have as much of selection as the regular stores which is understandable so I got a slice that had pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, and roasted garlic. These are my favorite toppings so I took the fact that this pizza had them as a good sign. The pizza was ridiculously greasy. I realize that it’s pizza but this was more grease than almost any pizza I have had, including deep dish pizza. The sauce which is what made the first time so delicious was also not that great. I did like the roasted garlic and maybe I just got a bad batch of pizza. Regardless, get some PMH from one of their locations and skip this airport one. Disclaimer: food options near here are not that great. If you must eat at the airport, this is probably the best and most reasonably priced option. Still wouldn’t recommend it but I do think it’s better than the other stuff around it.

Since I love Pizza, I had to try Pepperoni Pizza from this place while waiting to board my flight and the pizza was extremely greasy. The pepperoni slices were tiny and very dry.

This is a general PMH review, as I’ve been to a bunch of locations and they’ve all been pretty consistent in terms of service, the quality of food, and overall pizzaness. On a scale of one to za, Pizza My Heart is definitely my favorite pizza chain. Crispy, thin, and flavorful, there’s no question that any choice you make there will be a good one. Plus, their stamp card rewards are pretty awesome too! However, the airport location does not participate in the stamp card promotion, and their cashier actually seems kind of ticked off that I asked.

After rushing to the airport after work, the boy and I wanted to grab a quick bite before getting on the plane(to Vegas!!). Being big pizza enthusiasts, the boy wanted me to try Pizza My Heart. And I can totally see why there was a line at the place! They sell pizzas by the slice here, which is so convenient for travelers because you can carry the box onto the airplane! The guy ringing us up accidentally hit 22 as quantity, so the total was around $ 70.(Slices are about $ 3-$ 4 depending on what kind of pizza you get.) He quickly caught his mistake, and he joked with us about how it’s that high because it’s airport prices, hahah! They take the slice of pizza and heat it up for a few minutes before boxing it for you. We weren’t able to eat our pizzas right when we got them because we had to board, but the semi-warm pizza was still good! Since the slices are pretty big, I got to enjoy it for a while. That slice of pizza was enough to last me for a few hours, but I was dying of hunger by 11pm. If only I had another slice of that pizza…
