This starts with the delivery guy that showed up. He pulled my food out of his trunk, the box was squashed and the pizza was literally cold like it was premade and not warmed back up… not only that but it was really behind schedule from what the email said it would be. Can easily say I won’t oder from here again…

And I like to eat Pizza, but I want to have a Hot Dog. So I can’t go to New York but apparently this place does it some justice? I ordered the New York Style hot dog and ‘oh my’ it gave me a little smile! Thanks for the hot dog but your ice cream needs some lovin in the freezer!

This place is a joke… I ordered a piadini which is basically a cal zone but isn’t I was the only customer in this joint at 7 p. m and that should of been a red flag but I had an hour for lunch and this was in the area. Biggest mistake ever. Food took 50 minutes to come so i had to togo it and the worse part was it looked like crap tasted even worse then it looked and the worst part was there was 2 really tiny pieces of chicken not like it matter because i took one bite and tossed it. Smh… You suck

Pretty basic, nothing like what you’d get in NY but being on the west coast, you can’t really compare. I’ve actually never had any of the hot dogs, but the pizza and wings are decent. A little overpriced for the quality of food if you ask me but when you’re looking for a quick meal, it will do the job.

Started craving for pizza, never tried NYPD pizza before so tonight my bf and I we decided to grab a box of pizza. 1st of all the place was pretty cool, I like the atmosphere, pretty cozy. Sadly the pizza that we ordered wasn’t as satisfying as I hoped. We ordered buffalo chicken, which contains chicken, onions and celery(who puts celery on a pizza? Lol) and topped with a very sour buffalo sauce(properly from a cheap bottle). The crust was soft and barley cooked. The only reason why we ate the pizza was that we were very hungry and we had already paid it(about $ 22 for medium size).

My visit here was short lived. My husbands first reaction was«$ 5 a slice?!» I brushed it off and just wanted to try it until I noticed that it’s like $ 7 for a large order of fries, fries! Not truffle fries, not crab fries, a basic basket of fries! By the time we were asked what we wanted to order we decided to go to another place next door. I’m glad we didn’t eat here. The slices I did see looked stale and sad.

I like to eat here when I’m in the area. The pizza may not be great, but it definitely is much better than some places I’ve eaten at. Very casual atmosphere in the place, which is a good thing. Nothing like eating pizza while watching ESPN, which seems to be on here a lot. Which in my opinion is also a good thing, unless you’re not a sports fan. They have several different choices of pizza to choose from. I haven’t tried their hot dogs so I can’t comment on those. Update: The last time I ate there(earlier this year), the pizza was lousy. Too bad, I used to like this place. It’s not like I ate here often but I’ll find somewhere else the next time I’m in the area.

I ordered the NYPD Kitchen Sink Dog with garlic fries and my husband ordered the Ballpark Dog: both of us were not impressed. However, the dirty bathroom and dining areas with 2 homeless people was what really left a bad taste in our mouths. The bathroom smelled horrible and the sink had a leak leaving the floor covered in water and wet pieces of toilet paper. The homeless person inside the restaurant just stared at you, which made the customers uncomfortable so we sat outside. The homeless person outside smoked a cigarette the entire time which was a disgusting mixture with our food.

$ 4 for a slice of plain pizza? Yeah, never again it was thin, but under done and nothing to write home about. In NY, that would have been a buck, buck fifty at best.

Didn’t even try the pizza, the rude girl when I walked in was enough for me to turn and leave, I walked in saying«hello good morning» she looked at me chewing her gum and don’t even respond. Lost a client just like that.

almost like eating in new York. I love the atmosphere. I eat here when ever I come to San Jose. I had the pizza this time because I had the Nathan’s hot dog last time I can’t remember which but it was amazing so I wanted to try the pizza and I’m not disappointed at all. almost like pizza back home.

Really, you’re going to make me pay for reheated pizza? How long has that stuff been sitting out? I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza slice. I’m glad that I didn’t order more slides because I could barely stomach the one that I had. They are using some of the blandest cheese around(or perhaps sitting out all day and then being reheated does that to the cheese). The barbecue sauce was fairly standard(probably store bought). The chicken was extremely dry from the reheating. The crust was tough(also from reheating). The whole thing was just unappealing. Also, some of their«deals» are really misleading and aren’t deals at all. For example, the pizza combo«deal» isn’t really a good deal at all. It’s just marketing hyperbole designed to confuse. Seriously, why are people going to this place? What sort of pizza restaurant operates on reheated food? I’m surprised that anyone goes to this place at all. If I didn’t have a bunch of friends who were going here with me, I would have left as soon as I saw the fact that the pizza is just reheated.

Awards anyone? This place has won the *Michelle’s worst pizza lunch ever* award. Where do I begin with my disappointment? Pizza slice combo sign is misleading. It’s $ 4.49 in addition to the slice price which ranges from 3.99 to 4.59. Your combo comes with salad or fries with your drink. The salad looked awful so the guy offered me potato salad. Someone dumped the entire pepper shaker in my salad because it burned the heck outta my mouth. Nasty! I can’t finish it. :-( Cheese slice is thin crusted and not that flavorful. Usually the cheese has some type of flavor. Not this one. Another disappointment. Sweet tea is missing the key ingredient: sweet(sugar) and there was no sugar to be found anywhere when I asked to put my own in. I’m amazed they have dough to make the pizzas. Inventory control/purchasing is lacking. The décor… hmmm. there’s a hint of New York in here somewhere, I just know it. The rest is just red, white & lots of black jumbled together. It’s hot outside. What looks like air conditioning probably IS but isn’t working. The doors are wide open. Flies are coming in & nesting around the uncovered pizza slices for sale. I ordered cheese because they didn’t have any premade and would have to make fresh. :-P Quite a few guys came in here during the time I ate lunch. Most ordered hot dogs. They looked good but I just wasn’t in the mood for one. I don’t know if I’ll be back here. It’s very pricey in my opinion for the value you get. I just happened to be in the neighborhood and was starving. My opinion Overall… find another place to eat.

I was staying up the street for work, with wanting a place in walking distance my coworker and I stumbled upon this little pizza place. Though I checked in on Unilocal,I clearly didn’t read or review the reviews and star level. We walked in and greeted immediately by a polite cashier. We quickly placed our orders but realized though their menu was vast many options were missing that day. No pulled pork, no blue cheese dressing, no ranch… yes people no ranch dressing!!! We settled on a slice of BBQ chicken pizza each, wings and I got a pint of blue moon. The pizza slices were New York style; thin crust, and large slices. But sadly they were boring and dull in flavor. It would be nice if they cut the slice in half because I wasn’t in the mood for the fold method. The wings(without ranch dressing) were burnt and gross! Lol I didn’t even take a picture. The BBQ sauce and Hot wing sauce was barely even covering half of the wings. Though service was polite, the food was barley edible. No thanks! Save your money folks, walk somewhere else. Oh I forgot my Blue Moon was the best thing lol!

This is the 2nd time ive had issues with this place. they always gets your order WRONG. The lady at the register doesn’t understand English(no name tag). She told me I need to read the menu, and they don’t give refunds. So I need to buy something else if I want something else. How rude, your suppose to just take care of it. Not tell the customer what they«need to do.» I never asked for a refund I asked her to make me what I wanted which was a chili cheese dog. After 10 mins of talking she finally made it. So I send $ 10 for this.

Eh, the food is not so great, and fairly pricey for what you get. We were around the area on Easter Sunday, and practically everything was closed. We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat, and should’ve gone to McDonald… Purchased: 1) Combo pizza: 2⁄5 Costco is better. 2) Refrigerated salad: 1⁄5 could’ve gone without 3) French fries: 2⁄5 Not worth the calories.

Pizza & hotdog shop located in a small, cramped shopping plaza on 1st street next to several eateries like Chipotle and Subway. Brace yourself though cause parking here SUCKS during weekday lunch hours. Prices are on the higher side for pizzas & hot dogs, with reasonable quality & service. I ordered a slice of their pesto pizza — the thin crusted pizza slice was BIG, tasty, and filling. Overall, it was OK but nothing memorable.

Simple, delicious, and inexpensive lunch. Not just that, my HR Manager was onsite and I somehow got invited to lunch. I feel weird when I know someone is paying for me so I always stick to the cheapest item w/no appetizers, no sides, and no drinks. It’s just who I am. He is from Chicago so he kept reassuring us that this place is pretty good. I have never been here because I am usually eating a salad from Una Mas or at the gym working my ass off. I was quite excited to try this place. We came after the lunch rush so there were no crowds and service was fast as hell. The lady ringing us up was welcoming and sweet… at least that is the vibe that I got since she spoke to my HR Manager in Spanish. Nathan’s hot dogs doesn’t have that crunch from the casing like Casper’s Hot Dogs but it was fine by me. The crunch gives me a creepy feel for some reason. The relish didn’t seem fresh(like it came from the jar) but the onions and tomatoes were fresh. I love mustard. The best part was the mustard. I love mustard! Not a bad place for lunch if you want something cheap and fast but if you go between 11:30AM-1:00PM then expect to be screwed in the parking lot. The plaza gets jammed packed during the lunch rush.
