It’s been twice my bowl wasn’t filled up. I’ve come to the conclusion that they skimp on food to prevent illness. This is based on the logic that if you eat no food you won’t catch listeria.

Female server was rude. Did not care to listen to anything requested. Also felt that the servers have been instructed to deliberately cut serving sizes. Wow, just what Chipotle needs at the moment. I’m not coming back here anytime soon.

I love chipotle but this one is awful. Usually don’t write reviews but for the past few weeks I’ve been going to this one after the gym. I don’t care if I get heaps of food, I just expect it to be consistent for everyone. So when I see someone who’s friends with the people that work there in line and the employee(the one who wears what I think is a young mans Sikh turban and the glasses) comes up to the line and says to hook his friend up and goes on to tell his friend that the girl working the line«she’s great cuz I trained her». She goes on to give him two heaping scoops of rice he asks for double meat and gets not 2 but 3HUGE scoops of chicken. And adds guac. He is then wrung up at the register for a regular bowl. I then order and get barely a full scoop of rice, have to ask for more, then ask for black beans and ask for double she skims the bottom and give me almost nothing and moves on. When I asked for more she goes back and scoops in maybe a total of 5 beans. I end up getting double meat because when she scoops MY meat, unlike the other employees friend, gives me almost nothing in comparison. I order double and it’s still not what it should be. I add guac and she skimps me on that as well. Then I pay $ 13 and some change. I just found this so completely rude and disrespectful. I get that friends may get special treatment but when I’m watching you make their bowl and then you give me nothing… Not even to wait for the black beans so you can give me what I asked you for? That’s just not okay in my books. And I might be making a big deal out of nothing but how bout you treat each customer equally. Why should I get less than what anyone should expect so you can hook your friends up and not get in trouble. Maybe it’s time both these employees get new jobs where they don’t need to make this trivial decision of how much each customer deserves.

Chipotle food is already amazing: 5 stars there. But what had me write this review: Customer service. Every single time my office orders food from there, we receive great service. We order online and one of us goes in to pick up all the online orders. A lot of times when we order from other places we are risking that there will be in error is someones order, because there usually always is, except at Chipotle. Chipotle always does it right, does it quickly and gives us perfect portions of food. When I go in to pick up the food they have great attitudes and are very friendly. Sometimes they even do little things like draw a smiley face next to our names when writing it on the top of our order(because its online orders). Well today I ask a coworker to add a quesadilla to their order and I would pay them back. Someone picked up the food and when I got my quesadilla I was upset because it was the kid size. I guess when my coworker went to add it, the only place on the website that even shows quesadilla was the kid size so she assumed I knew thats what I was intending ordering. I called the location, not because I was upset with them, they filled the order exactly how it was ordered, but to see what we could do to fix it. Without any hesitation the man on the phone took my name and said«Oh i see your orders all the time, next time you order, its on us. We are so sorry it was listed incorrectly on the website» Now I would love for the website error to be fixed, but this location totally deserves to be recognized for their great team, and great customer service.

Why did this location get such a bad review? I came in one day cause it was on my way from home and had the free chips and guac coupon. The guy who served me gave me generous portions of chicken, fajita, and everything else! He even took the time to let the beans drain fully(probably because there was no line). Everyone there was super friendly and I got a lot of guac for my free chips and guac! I think people should give this place another chance, or maybe I came on a good day. But I know I won’t be ignoring this location anymore!

I used to be a fan of chipotle. I would come here almost every week for lunch. My experience was always good– fast service, nice staff etc. However, recently I found it hard to finish a meal because it’s just way too salty!!! Seriously, people! If you continue to eat food like this, you will need to pay attention to your blood pressure and other high sodium related diseases. I’m not joking. Why has Chipolte forsaken us with overdoses of salt? Why? Why? Oh for the love of food, why? It really used to be one of my favorite lunch choices! I’m so disappointed.

I went in a little before closing time one night and Nicholas was super personable. He even took those nasty little frozen cheese clusters out of my bowl. THEN he gave me the entire thing free for absolutely no reason at all. This will be my go-to location on my lunch break.

Maybe because I came right at opening and no one pissed off the workers yet but for once, the service wasn’t bad!!! I wanted Chipotle for the longest time but was worried about the whole E. coli fiasco. But I did the«text them and you get free food» and had a coupon for a free burrito bowl!!! L O L being broke, I couldn’t resist. Extra E. coli pls! Waited until 11am came along and made my way to Chipotle. There was only 2 people in front of me so there wasn’t a line, the portions were actually good this time!!! The fajita veggies were grilled perfectly today and the chicken was super juicy. I normally get a burrito bowl with brown rice, no beans, fajita veggies, chicken(this time I asked for double meat Bc for the free), all the salsas, corn(I love their corn salsa, extra pls), cheese, lettuce and of course GUAC! On a normal basis, I wouldn’t get guac because it’s so pricey and to my dismay, THEPRICESHADINCREASEDFORTHEMEATSANDGUAC. WHY??? This upsets me so but since I had coupon, I could care less… They also no longer leave the lemons outside! You have to ask for it by the counter. I guess people be taking them home or making lemonade idk. I was lucky with parking because usually parking here sucks ass. Too many establishments, not enough parking spaces. Especially since Koja Kitchen just opened, there’s pieology and the biggest kahuna, City Sports…

So disappointed! Today was suppose to be their re-opening. We got there around 6 pm and there was only 1 other brave soul in front of us — how sad. They were closed during lunch so all the employees can be retrained. I haven’t been there since the E. coli breakout and since it was one of my go to places, I thought I’d give it another try — never going again! I guess the new thing is to barely put anything in the bowls — a small spoonful of rice(which was under-cooked), hardly any meat, a pinch of cheese and very little lettuce. If this is their way of luring people back then forget it. It’s definitely not worth it!

Almost every time I go in there is something wrong. It could be cold chewy chicken or a piece of plastic in the food. This location is severely lacking attention.

It was lunch time and I was looking for a place to eat that was fast and efficient. I then thought about Chipotle since it was close to my work place. I came in thinking that there would be a line but there was practically no one except for 1 customer. Surprising because other Chipotle’s that I’ve been to have always had a line but I didn’t mind because I was in a hurry anyways. I got my usual: bowl with brown rice, pinto beans, fajitas, steak, sour cream, corn, guac and topping it off with some lettuce. The veggies and guac was fresh which I liked but this place seems to skimp on their meat portions compared to other Chipotle’s that I’ve been to. There was barely any steak left so it seemed like the person just gave me the leftovers. I love my meat so knowing that I’m getting less of a portion than I’m suppose to get is a total bummer. Service/Staff: Pretty Basic. Nice & efficient. Since I came on a slow day, I’m not sure how they do when it’s crowded but they got everything done fast when I was there. Overall, an ok location for Chipotle. I think they just need to work better on their portioning and make sure everything is kept in stock. But, if you’re looking for a quick lunch that would fill you up then Chipotle is where it’s at!

I’ve been to this Chipotle 3 times by now and have never had an unpleasant experience. When I went last night, my burrito bowl was piled high like a mountain! I was sooo stuffed after I finished it, so perhaps they have improved on giving small portions. The only thing that I noticed was that they did not have fajitas available when I went around 7:30pm on a weekday. Also, oy! $ 2.10 for guacamole?! At least they gave me a generous portion of it!

Started this review 3months ago: You frustrate me Chipotle. Food: My usual is a bowl or salad(w/white cilantro-lime rice on the side): white rice, no beans, fajita peppers, carnitas or steak(I like the veggie option as well when I’m in the mood for guac for protein than meat), verde salsa(medium), extra roasted corn salsa, and cheese. I wished all Chipotles stuck to red peppers for their fajitas that this particular location tends to use the times I’ve been here. Service: Friendly and outgoing bunch of folks. Just don’t come during the lunch/dinner rush since they seem overwhelm and stressed due to the traffic, and large orders. Overall: Love/hate relationship. One day you’re extra sweet with reasonable portions or the next you make me feel empty handed. Current as of December 11, 2015: — Still stand on my option of this location but due to the recent e-Coli scare, this certain location has been empty. Hopefully they pick back up business!

Visiting this facility for over a year now & the service has always been good so far. Food — Fresh items especially lettuce, veggies, guacamole. Appreciate the fact that the items have never been kept out of stock. Staff — Friendly, quick, attentive & helpful. Ambience — The facility is seen mostly clean including restrooms. Comfortable in & out seating area. Overall — I’m a frequent customer to Chipotle Mexican Grill, one of the most healthiest & cost effective restaurant chains in the market. Been to many of it’s facilities both in & outside the bay area. Loved the kind of service they provide, giving options for customers to choose and customize their own food. I surely recommend their facility in E Brokaw Rd, San Jose for it’s consistency in terms of service, cleanliness & professional staffs.

Well here we go, I’ve pretty much had it with the move them in move them out attitude in this establishment. When these guys originally opened it was the place to go, no longer is this true. For some reason My wife and I keep coming back hoping it will get better. Tonight’s experience was horrible. Rushed from the time I was asked a bowl or burrito? The place is not personable at all, no eye contact, just hurry up any pay attitude. When I ask for salsa, I don’t want a spoonful of salsa juice with no salsa ladled into my burrito bowl with all my stuff floating, sounds tasty eh? So the reason for my whole rant tonight is, with every meal we get, we get a bag of chips and salsa for $ 2.10. Well I noticed the bag was short of chips and asked if I could get another bag. Well, the cashier straight up tell me, we weigh them at 4 ounces and that’s all we’re allowed to give. I know this bag was not even close. All I wanted was a few more chips or maybe a little customer relation, oh well I’m out of here and will never come back. So I go home and weigh the chips and they come out to 2.7 ounces, pretty sad to make profit on shorted bags of chips. Do not like the herding mentality and lack of personable customer service.

I usually go to here but this place seem to be skimping out on the meat as of late. I dont think the workers know what is means by extra meat… I pay extra 2 to get more. Not to mention I had to keep asking for more salad and fajitas because they barely gave any portion. Terrible customer service today btw.

It was a Friday afternoon and while my hubby had the day off, I didn’t. But he was ultra sweet enough to stop by and take me out to lunch. However, I wasn’t able to go out for too long so we decided to check out the Plaza next to my company for convenience. Knowing that I haven’t tried Chipotle before, he asked me if I wanted to and thought, sure why not? I’ve heard that the portions are huge and it’s no joke. I got half way through and I was already dying. I ordered just the bowl with white rice, guacamole, black beans, chicken, and sour cream. Of course, the entrée was very creamy, but the flavors weren’t over powering. The free side of chips was nice. My hubby pretty much ordered the same thing except he had steak instead of chicken. We personally don’t have any complaints about the food, but we wouldn’t say Chipotle is great or anything. The flavors are what you expect and the service is basic. The one plus is that you get a bunch of food for a very cheap price.

I know this Chipotle inside and out. Trust me on this one. They have the best fajita vegetables by far out of all the locations. They’re all thinly sliced, and cooked until soggy so that you’re not left eating raw giant pieces of bell peppers like other locations have. The service is excellent. Rarely do I ever have to ask for a ‘little’ bit more. It’s often I need to ask them to put less(can you not see that you covered my entire bowl twice in corn and salsa?). This could also be because they see me about 3x per week.
