If you are craving for coffee and don’t want to walk out the convention center, go to the small barista on the other end inside Marriott. With similar price(even a bit cheaper), you’ll get better experience

Now that I’m mildly more interested in coffees & tea than I was in the past, I’m starting to learn that I’m not a huge fan of Peet’s. THEOVERVIEW. — Located in the San Jose Convention Center — The staff has to work with a very awkward DIY style kitchen(no real prep area, a toaster oven, and some plastic utensils) — The fresh food selection is a bit lacking(my fruit cup had seen better days) — The chai latte here is pretty forgettable + The muffins are absolutely delicious, though(yay butter, carbs, and sugar!) Any port in a storm, though.

Located inside the San Jose Convention Center. Stopped by before heading over to Wrestlemania Axxess to get my typical iced mocha. Gladly, this was located far from the main hall because I was only able to enjoy about 1⁄3 of this as I was walking since drinks weren’t allowed in the main hall. Now I know why this coffee shop is located toward the exit door! :/Still a good drink but I didn’t get to enjoy it all.

Quality of the coffee aside, the customer service specifically the asian guy is just terrible. Rude and inconsiderate.

THIS Peets in the SJ convention center ts OPEN again. I went in there today because of its convenient location off of almaden blvd. and i do not recommend it for the following reasons. *Coffee is overpriced a medium coffee is regularly 2 dollars at any PEETS but this one charges 2.50…WHY? well after asking the Barista 4 times why he finally said well maybe because we are owned by the city. **Coffee is NOTGOOD tastes like stale, or like one of those pots you can pour by pumping in a hotel lobby. Ive had gas station coffee better than this. ***Lastly the Baristas MANNNN they need a cup of coffee or to learn more about peets they totally seemed clueless one even said he never has been to peets another says he only goes to non-mainstream cup O’Joe locations oh ya and starbucks of course! …weird…They were not very friendly they almost seemed as if I was bothering them to ask them to SELL me a cup of coffee… UMM never again! i’ll stick to my usual spots

House coffee is great. Sometimes behind the counter people are loud, while people are waiting for their coffee… I kinda find this rude, because of the comments and laughing. Don’t get me wrong I know they’re having a great time, but making fun of someone who they know can make someone waiting for their coffee insecure as if they are being made fun of… just a thought.

Ok this a good place to grab a cup and relax but do not ask for a specialty… why …it confuses them… stop it really… just simply understand a Drip coffee with a lot of room for cream is enough anything more than that you are aggitating the OTHER customers. It wasn’t me you see the person in front of me had an order that after I sat down with my drip coffee(I originally wanted a mocha but I had sympathy for the cashier) I realized how absurd the other customer was and how patient the ENTIRE staff was… First off the other customer had the most complex set of drinks to order from a Soy that is LIGHTSOY(how is this even possible) for a half decaf /half regular Latte to be put in a Large cup but only make a medium and put in a shot of hot water(I honestly was like .what is the person drinking?) The next order the other customer was in the process was interrupted because the customer recognized one of the other co workers ANDINTHEMIDDLEOFHERORDERSTARTED A NEWCONVERSATION all the while I started to grab my car keys and think about how to get the woman to purchase my coffee too. Finally after about 5 minutes too long of a conversation /order special coffee I was greeted… Without a smile. I know the woman in front of me was batshit crazy but I am having a bad day too so could you do me a favor and smile at me too? Please I was patient

Just a friendly word of advice for the glum Baristas behind the counter: When someone asks for decaf in the early evening, they usually MEAN decaf. Sincerely, Wide-awake at 2AM

Tucked away next to the Hilton in the McEnery Convention Center. Very convenient location if you aren’t close to Santa Clara street where all the other coffee places are located. There’s three tables outside and a ton of seating inside. I’ve been here several times and it has always been quick with great service. I don’t think this place gets too busy in the convention center so you shouldn’t have to wait long for your drinks.
