This is in our neighborhood and a staple for us! It is a CA chain but I still think the food is good(but not great). The service is consistently great — we love Nancy! Only once did we have a service issue. I won’t even get into it as the company handled it really well. The only reason we had called it out was because it was out of the ordinary from our usual experience. We love the butternut squash ravioli and the gemelli. Our kiddos love the coloring picture they get and their kid’s meal complete with sundae!

Writing this review for the customer service provided by our waiter, Ken. It was refreshing to receive friendly service after a long Sunday of Christmas shopping. He was able to make recommendations, answer questions– happily! And, he just knew when to check on us. It was really nice. The food was good. I really enjoyed the shrimp asparagus pasta as recommended.

Pasta Pomodoro is a generic Italian themed restaurant with reasonable prices. It’s a cross between Olive Garden and something more casual like noodles and co. I was there after lunch, but before the dinner rush, so it was fairly quiet. I ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer. It was decent, but not great. My friend and I preferred the complimentary bread, which had a nice dipping olive oil with it. I also ordered the ravioli with ricotta cheese. The menu did not call out specifically that there would be spinach, so I was a little annoyed when it came out and had spinach in it. I asked for them to take it back, and they offered to get me a new dish, but instead I opted for Dessert. I was pretty full from eating all the bread, so I asked them to bring me the chocolate lava brownie ish dessert item, which I thought was decent, but not amazing. My friend ordered a red wine, which it looked like she didn’t care for. She did enjoy her pasta, I think it was the butternut squash ravioli. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon, but it could be worth giving a shot if you’re in a rush.

Totally not worth the price. Dishes are too expensive for the amount you get, especially since it’s not anything fancy. Ifeel like when i have Italian i should leave stuffed but this was not the case. I had the butternut squash ravioli. It was good but the sage was the best part! We went today around 2, after the lunch rush. There were still quite a few people. We were sat in the back away from everyone. Not sure if it was because I had 2 young kids and they didn’t want us to bother everyone or so we could sit in a booth and be more comfortable. It was probably better that way but I felt they forgot about us a little.

Just finished having a nice dinner here. I never really feel inclined to write Unilocal reviews, but for our server, Sonia, I changed my mind. She made sure our night was amazing!

I usually come here for birthday celebrations. Food is amazing. Penne portobello is my favorite. This Unilocal needs to be updated. The restaurant itself does not make deliveries as said in the information. I called and the worker told me that I could try«food to you». So I went to the site, $ 40 minimum and the delivery charge is $ 6.99. Almost $ 50 for just wanting a $ 14 pasta, no thanks. Food and restaurant on their own are great. Just would like if they could do delivery in the future

It was around 6:30pm when my coworker and I decided to come here. He said he tried this place before and it was good so I took up on his word and decided to try it out(was either this or the Tee Née Thai further down the street which there was a long line for). Took about 15 minutes before being seated: Okie I can take that if it’s due to the place being popular. Ordered: Polenta appetizer Penne Portobello My coworker went with soup and Cesar salad My polenta appetizer came out around 5 minutes or so. It was cheesy and hot which I liked. Would recommend this appetizer. It took around 10 – 15 minutes before my coworker got impatient and asked a waiter why hasn’t his simple soup and salad hasn’t even come out yet. It’s easily prepped too. The waiter said he’d check on it for us. Took another 5 minutes before the food came out. Waiter asked if I wanted parmesan cheese on my pasta and I said yes. He said he’ll be back with the cheese. That«be right back» took more than 10 minutes and luckily I started eating before the dish got cold. The dish was pretty good. Could use bit more sauce. I shared some of my pasta with my coworker and he enjoyed it too, although would’ve been better if the waiter came back with the cheese. About 75% done, the waiter came by and asked if I wanted the Parmesan cheese. Seeing how little of the pasta I have left I told him yes but just a little. Drinks did come out in timely manner so no beef with that. Took a long while to flag down that waiter for the bill too. Give them star for the food but everything else pretty much needs major improvement. My advice for places with waiters who can’t keep up with the services: don’t bite off more than you can chew and focus more on efficiency. For instance, if the customer ordered a pasta dish, carry out the Parmesan cheese with you because more likely than not, they’ll want some and you’ll have it ready on hands instead of running back to get it.

We stopped going to this place a few years ago because the food got bland and service was poor. We decided to give it another try. The food was very good, but the service is still very poor. It’s just not worth the aggravation. Yes, it was very busy so some of the poor services are due to that but it seemed unorganized starting from the host at the door.

Came here one Sunday afternoon and enjoyed excellent food. The chef working the kitchen took a while to prepare food that day, but the staff were pleasant.

Stopped in here for lunch with some friends a few weeks ago. This place was DEAD on a Saturday afternoon, which was fine for us. Cheesey garlic bread was really good. Service is A-okay. I have really high standards for Italian food, so 3 stars is what they get. They are consistent though, but definitely very americanized Italian. But that is their market, so its still a-ok in my book.

Unbelievable. Placed an order online through Eat24. Delivery minimum clearly shows $ 20(which I met — $ 24 food order). Receive a call about 10 minutes later, and they state that the food order minimum is *$ 40*(not $ 20 as the screenshot shows), but that«You can add an additional $ 3 tip and we’ll go ahead and deliver it». Keep in mind here, the delivery charge is $ 6.95, and I tipped an ADDITIONAL $ 7.20 on top of that. So, they’re asking me to either pay $ 40 for food(despite them having a $ 20 minimum), or to have a «delivery charge» of SEVENTEENDOLLARS for $ 24 worth of food. I consider myself a generous tipper, but that’s insanity. So, unfortunately I didn’t get to even try their food because of poor customer service. Unfortunately I get to be angry AND hungry now, and that’s just sad.

I lived around the area and I’ve never seen this restaurant before. It was tucked in the corner so I decided to give it a try. Parking may be difficult to find here because they have a small parking lot. ATMOSPHERE: I didn’t dine-in but I had a quick glance of the restaurant. It seemed comfortable and it was well-maintained and clean. The noise level was pretty low when I came in so it would be an ideal place for a dinner. FOOD: I ordered the chicken pesto fettucine and it was great! I had a side of chili powder and poured it over my pasta since I love spicy food. I honestly don’t know my pasta that well but their pasta was thick and it was cooked right. It wasn’t too wet nor too dry. The chicken was also flavorful! I had no problem nibbling it and the pieces were cut in bite-sizes. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Their staff overall was friendly. I was re-directed to the spot where they take dine-in orders. The whole process took about 15 – 20 minutes to get my food. I was also given complimentary breadsticks which I thought was awesome! I’d definitely love to come back here and try their entrees! TIP: Check your teeth after eating: P

Timothy L. and I arrived around 7:00pm and we were seated immediately. There were plenty of tables available inside and outside but we decided on dining indoors. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating to us. I appreciate how she was patient with me when I asked her about their lemonade and whether or not she would recommend me ordering it. Anyway, I always order the shrimp and asparagus pasta whenever I eat here, but for some reason I was craving seafood and what sounds better than seafood pasta? It has clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp and mini octopus with a light tomato sauce. Only complaint was the mini octopus. Not sure why, it just creeped me out seeing their tentacles in my meal so I asked my boyfriend to pick them out for me lol. Overall experience at this specific location was great. Would not mind coming back here!

Some friends and I had lunch here recently. I would say overall it was good. Service could have been better. They were not busy on the Sunday lunchtime we were there so we got a table for 7 right away. The waiter took drink orders but then was really slow in coming back to take food orders, especially when he saw that the kids with us were starting to melt down a bit. The focaccia bread with pesto sauce is awesome. We ate tons of it. Way too much! For entrees, I had the chicken marsala with kale. It was really tasty. The others in the group had chicken fettuccine, fusilli, kids pasta. Everything was tasty. Good portion sizes. The kids with us were quite loud and were pretty disruptive and the restaurant handled it well.

Terrible, terrible service… at least the entire meal ended up being comped. I don’t usually do 1-star reviews, but tonight, we felt like we might be on a hidden camera show. Group of 5 went to dinner tonight(a Friday) — got seated right away — hostess was really friendly. That was the end of the good service. Two nearby tables were seated after us, but given attention to first. Both had drinks and one ordered their entire meal before our drink order was even taken. After 20 – 25 minutes of sitting there, we finally got our drinks. Bread came, but no split plates ever arrived, even after we asked. Had to ask for drink refills while we waited. After being there 45 mins… still no entrees. Server came back over and said«I’m really sorry, but I lost your ticket and I can’t remember what you ordered. I put the salads in, though.» He waited 15 – 20 mins to come and tell us that he lost our orders. He apologizes and assures us our orders will be rushed out. Salads come 5 – 10 mins later, but no entrees. Again, no split plates… but more bread. Refilled drinks, but some was spilled on a friend. 1 hr mark, no entrees. 1:15, no entrees. But more bread. One of our party finally marches in and asks the manager what the hell is going on. «Your food is right there» he says as he points to it at the partial order in the expedite window. After explaining how long we’ve been there, he assures us, he’ll take care of our meal, otherwise we would have been out of there. At the 1:30 min mark, we finally get our entrees. Food was ok. Nothing spectacular, but at least it was all hot. Brussels sprouts salad special was tasty, but really small portion for an $ 8 salad. Pesto chicken fettuccine had good flavor and texture, but chicken was small and all settled to the bottom of the bowl. Not a huge deal, but could have been better for a $ 13 plate of pasta. At the end of it all, we had 5 entrees, 2 salads, 3 diet cokes, 2 beers and about 7 plates of bread… and it all took 2hrs, 15 mins. Waiter came back and said«Oh I guess my manager bought you guys dinner. Sorry about that.» Manger did the right thing, but still absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

I’ve had some good experiences here and a really bad one. Their food was always quite good, I would purchase the grilled garlic chicken and either pick it up or it would be delivered. The service was good the one time I’d eaten in house, abit slow. However my last visit I received food poisoning from the same chicken dish I usually get. I called and let them know, but once I get sick from a space, it’s my usual policy not to go back. It may not have been their fault, but sadly, I probably wont be ordering from them again.
