They wouldn’t make more food(noodles, chicken etc) and ask u pick from what is leftover even if you go almost 1 hr before closing!!! Pathetic!

This place has pretty good food, but I think the best part about this place is the fact that their customer service and their people who work there are super nice. There was a super cool girl who helped me with my food and she was friendly, I think her name was Jocelyne? She was really friendly and it just made the experience that much better. Thanks girl! :)

I was excited when it first open and few times go there hoping but felt dissapointed because I think the way they portion the food that i ordered different from any othe pandex i have been… it was less very stingy.

honestly the worse customer service. I am a vegetarian and so is my sister and we ordered the one thing on the menu that was vegetarian(eggplant tofu) there was only one person in front of us but we ended up having to wait about 20 minutes for our food to be cooked. During that time, other foods that weren’t even running out was being cooked and served while we had to wait. It was just really annoying when food chains put vegetarian/vegan options as the last thing they worry about, despite the fact that in almost every panda I’ve been to, the eggplant tofu is running out. Plus they were stingy with the servings.

The food is not too bad but one of the girls that work there is so rude! She jokes in a way that make people uncomfortable. She makes stupid jokes about how you’re «not a nice person» if you don’t donate money. Overall the staff needs to act a little more professional.

the food was standard panda express, good. i don’t expect much from panda express at all, but even in the middle of a rush i at least expect relatively polite service and utensils to like. be able to eat my food. i didn’t get utensils or anything and the employees were barking at me from the beginning. bleh.

I honestly don’t know why this place has a low rating. The staff are friendly and the place is clean, never had a poor experience! Never too long of a wait cuz duh the food is all there they just have to scoop it so time is never an issue. One of the reviews said they ran out of a meat and couldn’t cook more because it was almost closing time, umm obviously they have to close the kitchen a little earlier than closing.(Common sense) they’re not going to waste pounds of food for one person to get a serving size! Ugh people are soooooo oblivious and spoiled. Anyway 5 stars from me! *side note: people are reviewing about how horrible it is to wait 4 minutes for food. FOURFREAKINGMINUTES??? calm your shit, you’re not going to die on four minutes. That is all, I’d just like to point out that people are whiney assholes sometimes.

The staff is awful and rude, space is too small. There isn’t enough space to line up when it’s busy. Only one entrance… So the line blocks the entrance/exit.

The staff at this location are out of it. I have consistently gone to this location, at my fault. Each time there is usually a frequently requested side that is empty. They don’t plan ahead to replace the empty dish. once empty, they tell the cook, who is usually making fried rice, a very long process. The portions are small compared to other locations. I was told that the empty side would be replenished in a minute. The cashier asked if I would like a drink while I waited, I told her it would only be a minute. The person dishing the orders then came over and said it would be 3 – 4 minutes as the cook hadn’t started. I point to a cook and asked is that the one that will be cooking it, and she responded yes. I asked how it would be possible to cook a side in 3 – 4 minutes when the wok is full of water attempting to boil noodles? The cook just stood there with a heavy look of «don’t care».

Went there to get my food at 10:08 P.m. Close at 10:30. there wasn’t any Beijing beef and it was nasty looking and been there a while I request a fresh cook of Beijing beef and they said to me «They will not cook anymore». I will have to call the company and complain about this. First I will deal with the manager and let see what he has say before I get to the next level. If they are reading this please contact me I’m not happy about this.

I like this place although the it’s too small space. What matters are the crew that’s always snappy and ready to help.

Strange, the food here has been fresh during the last two visits. Most Pandas are 1 or 2 star places.

The chow mein tasted like it was made in old oil – I couldn’t eat it. The mixed veges were ok. I won’t be coming back to this location.

This review is solely for this particular location. It’s the newest location in San Jose but probably the worst. Here’s my ranting: 1) Staff — poor and unfriendly 2) Food — Qty of meat served is a joke 3) Portions — calculated as per mood 4) Online ordering — Make sure you open EACHANDEVERY togo box. We had missing food 5) Wait in the queue only to realize your favorites are sold off and have to wait again! Would drive to the Snell Rd one instead!

A small Panda Express with a bad layout. Fresh cheap Chinese-like food. Good for a budget, but unfortunately the Panda-portions have gotten smaller over time, giving you less of the bargain that Panda used to represent. Still a good way to get a cheap meal with lots of veggies. Watch some of those items like the popular Orange Chicken, that contain trans-fat. Also the Panda in large quantities is known to induce intestinal difficulties. The layout sucks. the line is in direct conflict with the door, quite awkward. Also, very little seating. Why is it that so much of the new construction in Village Oaks is so poorly thought-out?

I’m happy to have a new and clean PANDAEXPRESS in my part of town. I’ve never been much of a Panda guy, but I’ve really been watching what I’m eating and recently found their lite menu to be helpful. They’ve got a wok line of items that are all about 200 calories. I’m big on the chicken teriyaki and the green bean chicken. I can eat tasty items, spend about $ 6 bucks and only ingest about 550 calories — mostly protein. Take note, this location has very little indoor seating(two tables). Good for summer, bad for winter. 3.25 stars.

This place sucks. They charge extra for what they call«premium» items. Basically anything worth trying is extra. Then the workers skimp on the portions. Do yourself a favor and go to Jade China near by.

This is a fairly new Panda Express. I feel like this one is much smaller compared to the other locations. The layout seems to be a bit odd. If there is even a small line to order food(about 3 customers), then the line will begin to go out the door. I wish there was more tables inside for customers to enjoy their food. When I came here to grab dinner, I noticed a lot of the entrees were almost all out. It seemed like there was only 1 or 2 scoops of each entrée. The only one that was completely full was Orange Chicken.lol. It will be nice if the majority of the entrees were ready for the customers. We ended up waiting 10 minutes for some of the dishes to get cooked. Overall, the food still taste like other Panda Express.

This is a new location and I understand that but one thing that really bothered me the other night and I had to post it up on Unilocal.I walked into this place around 6 pm and asked for white rice and they said they ran out. I was really confused. How does an «asian» restaurant run out of rice? Thats like if I walked into Mcdonald’s and asked them for a large fries and they said«actually we ran out of french fries» inconceivable. Real talk though I am a guilty fan of panda express. Their prices aren’t terrible and its never a bad day to get orange chicken lol. This place is newer which means its cleaner. Their layout is kind of weird and causes lots of traffic jams b/c its built longer but not wide. So the line will block the doorway and makes it a task to get a refill on your drink or even exit the building. The people that work here are nice and friendly which is a bonus. I just don’t get how you can run out of rice. Also maybe its just me but it seems like the food boxes are getting smaller or they are just giving smaller portion sizes to everyone to save money? Either way I excuse the fact they ran out of rice b/c they are a new business… I will not stop going to panda express i just was really disappointed by the no rice and the smaller portion sizes. Outside of this I would have provided a 4 or 5 star

This is a newly opened location in a small strip of new restaurants. Inside it’s bright and clean, with a full view of the kitchen area. As you’d expect, the fare is Americanized-Chinese. I find it consistently tasty. I’ve yet to try any of the new bacon-infused dishes. As the new residences are built up in the area, i’m sure this area is going to be packed from dawn to dusk. It’s a short walk from the Cottle VTA stop.
