The food and prices are average. The ladie service is ok, but her cleaning skills are strange. She picks up plates with sprouts and other items and takes them back to the kitchen for ?, Other dishes are placed into the dish tray inside a cart. She uses the same rag to whip off tables, no sanitizer bucket to rinse off germs. I saw a cockroach walking around looking for food under the next table and finally hid under a lady’s shoe. After eating I went home with the runs. Maybe to much grease and sauce in beef plate?

My wife and I really like this restaurant. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Cambrian Park area. The Chow Fun is especially delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Family run place. The food was fresh and hot. Tried the chicken and vegetable and it was great. Will go there again to try some of the other dishes.

This place was good, but not fantastic. They do a lot of different Asian foods but none of them really shine. The service is excellent. I would stay away from the Boba drinks though. They weren’t very good.

If you value your health, don’t go here. I found a chunk of metal in one of their egg rolls. It was almost an inch long, curved and sharp, and undoubtedly would have put me in the hospital if I had swallowed it.

4 stars for how friendly the staff is! I come here a few times a month for the pearl tea, as it is just down the street from my house. The sweet lady at the register always greets me with a smile and remembers my exact order! The drinks are definitely on the sweeter side but the Thai tea here is the only one I have ever liked. The boba is soft but not overly chewy. Their dishes are good, nothing spectacular but satisfying nonetheless. Love this place and hope that they stick around! Note: Try the honey chicken or walnut shrimp! Two of my favorites!

It’s bad every time, I have tried this place and ordered several dishes and its dismal. Any person who would give this place a good rating is totally ignorant and does not know good food at all.

Small portions, salty food, a little overpriced for Chinese food and plain decorations. I ordered beef chow fun win black bean sauce and it was so salty I had to keep on asking for more water to tone down the sodium content on my taste buds. Portion was small for the price they charge and food presentation was plain. Service was okay. Neither friendly/receptive nor rude. Not sure if I’ll come back again, leave alone recommend it to friends and family.

Pretty good alternative to Phở proper, but their delivery service is limited and takes too long, not to mention, they have an order dollar vaule that you have to hit for them to even deliver and it’s pretty high, in other words, you’ll likely order more than you can eat just to ge them to deliver it… not cool. I’ll continue to go there if I’m in a pinch, but they have some work to do before I can recommend them to my friends & family.

Had the combination phở, hot and tasty! Very fresh meat and not too oily broth. The beef was a little bland but still good. Great staff, fast and very friendly.

I haven’t been here in a long time. I have to say I was a little disappointed. My phở noodles were hard, which is weird because I’ve never experienced that before here or anywhere. The pad thai was tasty and the customer service was good. Really disappointed about them not offering wifi anymore because I had invoices to run while I ate lunch and…(minus 1 star Lil odd that you can’t sit at an table and wait for your togo order?(minis 1 star) And restrooms are reserved for customers only.(minus 1 star) I won’t be back I think this place has new ownership?

My husband and I usually end up at Thai food and I wanted a change of pace, so we decided to try My Happy Kitchen. Inside was nothing special; the décor on the walls were just pictures of their dishes(which actually proved to be helpful) and the tables and chairs were tacky and cheap. More of a take-out spot for sure. However, the waitstaff were very friendly — appeared to be all family — and my dish knocked my socks off. My husband liked that they had combination plates that would come with soup, eggrolls or potstickers, rice or noodles, and the main entrée. I ordered the black pepper pork chop and it was extremely tasty. The pork was crispy yet still tender and juicy, the vegetables had a slight crunch to them, the rice was fluffy, and the black pepper sauce was amazing. I saw several other dishes on the menu that I am eager to try as well. I went back a week or so later and tried the black pepper beef, and was extremely disappointed. The beef was tough and chewy and had no flavor whatsoever. I will definitely stick with the pork for that dish. Also, the lady who took my phone order that time wasn’t very friendly and actually laughed at me when there was confusion over whether I wanted just the beef dish or the combo plate, as if I was the most ridiculously stupid customer she had encountered all week. Overall, a quick friendly(sometimes) spot to grab a bite or takeout; try the black pepper pork over rice.

Quite possibly the worst boba I have ever had! The boba pearls were small, hard, stale and stuck together all stringy-like…I seriously felt like I was sipping up rabbit poops. My green milk tea boba was also a bit too sweet. -$ 4.08. I could only drink a third of it during my commute and tossed it when I got home. The old man at least brought the drink to me at the table where I was waiting. Lesson learned: don’t pull over to a random restaurant with a huge banner advertising pearl drinks here… especially when Unilocal is telling me there is NO legit boba in Campbell.

Ate here just tonight on a quick run with the family. The Phở was actually really good even though this place is really a semi fast food Chinese place. Lots of people trickling in for to go wife said her honey chicken dinner was OK, not better. The crab rangoon was pretty good… The War-Won_ton is pretty good, clean broth and reasonable amount if «content», chicken,.veggies and some shrimp but the wheat kept the noodles stuck the noodles together and I showed the girl who served us!, nothing special. Although the place is a quick pit stop in a strip mall, it is really clean and efficient and the people there are able to effectively communicate with you on the ingredients and options. The place is not really that cheap in comparison to others in the area.

I was excited to try this place after seeing their extensive menu and reading the reviews online. However, I’m not sure if most of you have been deprived of authentic Chinese food or not, but this isn’t it. I feel bad writing a negative review because the service was good and I’m sure this little shop could use good promotion, but I stick to my principle of rating on how good the food is at restaurants where it’s supposed to be about food. That being said, let me repeat again — this is Americanized Chinese food, not authentic Chinese food you’d expect from a good Chinatown restaurant or your mom’s kitchen(if you’re Chinese). This is your oversalted, greasy, lacking-something, overpriced fast food. My friend and I agreed that when we ate half of our lunch(we were both unable to finish due to the inedibleness of the food), we were«full but not satisfied.» You know what I mean? My tongue kept searching for something to cleanse it and make it happy again(going to Fantasia afterwards and having a nice clean honey green tea did the trick). BEEFCHOWFUNWITHBLACKBEANSAUCE: this lacked the«fire» that should be in chow fun. To see what I mean, go to pretty much any Cantonese restaurant in Chinatown and order beef chow fun. You’ll notice a slightly burnt flavor but your food isn’t burnt, the result of cooking the dish on super high heat — that’s what you’re looking for. The beef was also overly salty, though it was tender — that part they got right. BLACKPEPPERBEEF: ridiculously salty. I couldn’t get past one bite and had to wash it down. I have nothing good to say about this one, although one friend did like it(she likes really salty things). FISHFILLETWITHVEGETABLESANDFRIEDRICE: the fish fillet was probably one of the more edible things I ate, but it lacked flavor(umami) and it had this greasy gritty aftertaste. The fried rice was really weird — it was really dry, didn’t have that«fire» like I described previously, and I think some of the rice was even partially uncooked and semi-crunchy. The food here is a fail, and this is definitely not a place I’d take my parents to. However, the service is friendly, attentive, and quick.

I’m not sure how anyone can say anything bad about this place! The phở, curry fried rice, fried wontons, lemon chicken, black bean chicken, garlic green beans, chow mein, brown rice, and pearl tea is all delicious! I simply have not had the time i try others, which I’m sure are just as delicious! I love this place! The prices are unbeatable at this quality, speed, and flavor! For the same price and quantity of a main dish you get the dish along with rice or veggie chow mein, no one else does that! The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned, the lemon chicken was unbelievably perfectly crunchy even 30min after ordering it, the chow mein is perfect, everything is perfect! TLDR; EATTHISFOOD! I love My Happy Kitchen! I’m so glad I found this place on Unilocal a couple months back, been there every few week since, in fact it was my dinner last night and tonight! :D

This joint is in the most random spot. My co-worker was looking for a new place to get Singapore noodles so I decided to guinea pig out this place with her and see what they’re about. What I swallowed: COMBO #2: Sweet and Sour Chicken with steamed rice, eggroll and house special soup: $ 7.50. SWEETBABYJESUSIT’S A WHOLELOTOFFOOD! The food is made-to-order which was nice ‘cuz my Sweet and Sour Chicken was crunchy on the outside with the perfect amount of sauce(not overly sweet) and the breading was on point. I was trying my hardest just to finish the meat, what more the eggroll or soup(which was good in itself). Definitely good for hearty eaters or even if you wanted to split the meal. SINGAPORENOODLES: Now compared to Chef Liu’s around the corner, this place is a better option. The dish runs $ 7.75(I believe) compared to Chef Liu’s($ 11 something) and MHK has bigger shrimp and more veggies. Glad we tried this place and is now our go-to spot for quick Chinese food.
