Very cool coffee shop. Where else can you get well made coffee drinks for only around $ 3.00?! I’ve become addicted to their Mexican mochas and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Service is much better here than the starbucks near my house, where they always seem to take forever to make one coffee drink. The interior is always clean with a few(somewhat limited) spots to sit both inside and outside. Plus they offer free wifi which is always a nice bonus. San Jose has a lot of great coffee shops and this one is definitely up there on my list.

Mexican Mocha — just the right amount of sweet. Staff — friendly, Atmosphere and wifi great for working. This place is far from where I live, but if I ever need coffee in South SJ this is my jam!

This place has a great selection of both hot and cold drinks. My all time favorite drink here is the dirty Asian, Thai tea with a shot of espresso. It’s a perfect blend of Thai tea and coffee. Even though this drink has given me several sleepless nights because of the coffee, it’s still worth it.

I’m always impressed by their customer service here. Very informative about their drinks and always open for me to check one off their Specialty chalkboard after a sesh @ 24. I was never dependent on coffee/caffeine mind you, I always thought I was young and spry enough to stay up 3 quarters of the day at the least(I’m not even 30 yet…). BUT, that all changed this year when I kick-started my fasting workout routines weekday mornings — I needed SOME inkling of caffeine in the system to pick me up around noontime. All the specialty drinks have a shot of espresso, just enough to sip on for a couple of hours until lunchtime hits and I’m able to scarf down the biggest meal of my day. Small, iced, no whip of course is how I take it. They also come hot or blended if that’s your cup o’ tea. So far I’ve tried The«Dirty Asian», «Zebra Mocha» and the«Mocha Amore», my favorite of which is probably the Dirty Asian d/t my love for anything orange Thai Tea-looking — the only thing that’d be more icing on the cake are BBBBs or big black boba balls drowning in its sticky, wet syrup at the bottom of the cup. Anyway, there’s your Dirty Asian for you if it wasn’t dirty enough. Til next time my caf’fiend Unilocalers.

Seriously!!! When was the last time I even wrote a review in general LoL! It definitely has been a while. This dedication review goes to my #1COFFEESHOP in my area … MOONBEAN’S COFFEE!(You can tell by how many check-ins I have here hehe) Small, cute, clean coffee shop with amazing coffee bean roasting aroma as you are walking through the door. The staff here is awesome and the coffee is truly to die for. I have tried their popular specialty drinks to the White Avalanche(blended drink) to their Milky Way(Caramel Macchiato), Salted Caramel, White Chocolate Mocha, Dirty Asian(Thai Tea with a shot of espresso)… they even made and customized a drink to my cravings the Caramel Brulee 0:). All their drinks are delicious, smooth and heart warming! Not too sweet and not too dark, just fits to the perfection of my taste buds LoL. I love the work that they do, keep up the great work guys!(P.S. sometimes when I walk through the door I feel like they think«oh shoot it’s that girl again…»)

We ordered the dirty asian and I also got to taste the chai mocha latte. At first the shot of espresso in the dirty asian overwhelmed the thai tea but then I stopped being a crybaby and loved it. I ended up powering down the rest of my drink like it was water.

We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. I was gearing towards the Mediterranean bagel until I saw the breakfast wrap — veggie sausage, egg, cheddar, and tater tots! The wrap: sadly, very flat. There’s no evolution of flavor or sophistication. I couldn’t taste the sausage at all, and only noticed a few random hints of tots. Bummer. The Dirty Asian is rather tasty. It is Thai tea with a shot of espresso. You can leave it as is and drink through each layer, which is a fun and satisfying experience as you get through tea, milky tea, espresso, and sugar. You can also shake it up and get all the flavors at once. The drink is not overly sweet, which is refreshing, and the coffee is of good quality. I would definitely come back and try another sandwich.

I had the café au lait, which was great, and the Mexican mocha, which was also great. The seating is just a little limited as there are these giant sacks of coffee beans and an antiquated behemoth of a coffee grinder taking up space for decoration. The lighting is also a little limited after the winter sun sets. As long as you don’t mind sitting on a tall stool, you’ll find seating.

Great experience for a first time customer. — Loved the coffee roaster up front and the smell of the coffee roasting. — Appreciated the help from the staff with choosing from their selection. Mexican Mocha, very delicious! Cetainly hit the spot! — The only bad thing… I live 500 miles from here and was on vacation. We need one of these in So Cal, please!

BESTCOFFEEEVER! This is a great place to grab coffee. It’s at an affordable price that beats Starbucks coffee any day! I like their Dirty Asian which is a mix of thai tea and coffee! It’s a fun drink to get. I’m also had their gingerbread latte :) Perfect for this season! I love coming here to study! I get so much work done! The wifi is awesome! And I always like looking at the artwork on the wall. I believe they display local artists. So thumbs up to that! Anthony is a great barista! :D So friendly and really good with latte art! I’m witness some of his masterpieces! Keep it up Anthony!

Better bagels than a bagel shop because they used to run a bagel shop. Go to city bagels or anywhere and get a soggy bagel and then go here and get a crunchy one. Coffee is good, service good. I like pouring my own and smelling the place when they roast the beans. It smells awesome a block away.

Annnnd another coffee shop to cross off my list. Of course, I came here to study. I got the Major Tom. Unfortunately, I forgot what it is haha. I just remember it has caramel and I wanna say it’s a latte? Don’t quote me on that. I decided to get one of their cookies, delicious! Décor inside is cute. Limited seating inside, but they have more outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and had a lot of great recommendations. Will def come back to try their other specialty drinks.

Really, really like this place! I’ve been here a handful of times to grab some coffee + get some studying done before hitting the gym. The baristas are great! I do like their teas and I’ve tried the«Dirty Asian» — love it! Who knew that thai tea + espresso would be such a winning combination? Super happy this place is so close to me because this is definitely one of my favorite coffee /study spots in the area. Great drinks for great prices!

Milky Way… all the way!!! Not overly sweet, creamy, and hit the spot! I love Irish cream lattes, and this was workin for me! Also tried the dirty Asian, it was a cold drink… wasn’t much for it.

So, after reading many tips and reviews, I had my mind set on a certain drink when I finally came here. I arrived, scoured over the entire menu and after 2 different people asked if I needed help, I had to ask if they serve Dirty Asian’s(it’s a drink okay!!!) here. And yes, they do! They just don’t have it on the menu so kids won’t start asking questions lol. It’s a mix of Thai iced tea + a shot of espresso. How could you possibly go wrong with that combination? There’s a lot of seating, but the chairs at the table aren’t the most comfortable if you’re here to do work. I came for a work meeting and my butt was a little sore after an hour lol. But the drinks are definitely worth it! They have many other very tasty sounding drinks that I’d like to try next time!

If someone were to ask what the best drink I’ve ever had was… I would say«THEDIRTYASIAN»(without hesitation.) Who thought of this brilliant creation??? And why didn’t someone think of this sooner? It’s not too sweet. Not too creamy. Can’t really taste the espresso. So smooth, slightly sweet, cold, and CAFFEINATED!!! And the layering is so pretty! No clue about their coffees… But this Dirty Asian might become an indulgence… Dangerous… Lol.

The atmosphere is calm. The smell of coffee beans permeates, walls have local artist’s work. Comfortable seating, good for chatting or working. Many outlets and good natural light. I enjoyed the blended latte immensely!

I really enjoyed this place!(Maybe because their purple wall matched the color of the paint in my room, haha) But no really, I liked this place! Their owner was very nice and had a good conversation with my boyfriend. Told us the background story of MoonBeans and their coffee. I ordered the Dirty Asian(which isn’t on their menu) but it’s a iced Thai Tea with a shot of espresso or to me, a cup of deliciousness. My boyfriend got their cold brew which I liked, it’s more on the lighter side and very smooth. They have numerous specialty drinks that you won’t find at most coffee places. Can’t wait to try their other appealing drinks!

Great place for studying. Fair amount of seats inside and outside and was quiet and not too crowded. Coffee was average, tried the Mexican mocha, and nothing too notable.
