More like Slo-Mo Burger. Two people in line before me but still took over 15 minutes to make a Mini-Mo burger and tater tots.

Everything here is overpriced except the breakfast menu which are like McDonald’s $ 1 menu items. They do not serve decaf coffee, and when served my breakfast menu item, some tater tots dropped outside of my basket and I was asked if I wanted to keep them after they had lain on the counter for more than a few seconds. I was grossed out.

I had high expectations for this place… I was initially excited that a locally run burger spot opened in the SJSU Student Union because sometimes I crave a quick burger and fries between classes. I finally had the chance to stop by today, and needless to say I was very disappointed. Put simply: The burger looked and tasted like a fast food burger. Microwaved-patty-and-flat-hamburger-bun kinda fast food burger(see attached photo). Not only did the presentation lack in the bun, but I was also disappointed to find that they use shredded lettuce, too… McDonalds is that you? I just read on the SJSU page for this place that the owners formally worked for McDonalds, so that actually explains a lot. I only wish I had read that sooner… I ordered the classic burger(with cheddar cheese) and regular fries, for a total of $ 7.50. It was done pretty quick. The burger was not too bad, but definitely not good; just by looking at it I could tell I would be disappointed. The first bite was not pleasant and neither was the rest of it. I had to force myself to finish it and I immediately regretted the purchase. As for the fries, they were just ok. They were probably the best part of the meal, which is actually pretty sad since they didn’t even taste fresh. I guess it’s good that at least now I know never to go back to this place, but that’s $ 7.50 I’ll never be able to get back :/If you’re hungry and looking for something to eat at the Student Union, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere
