Mojo burger is the worst choice for food in the student union hands down. At first I was intrigued the fact that they were advertising«grass fed beef», so I thought there was a chance this place would be good/healthy. I ordered the chicken terriyaki burger and the chicken could not even be chewed; almost like I was eating cardboard. The teriyaki sauce was pure sodium, undoubtedly straight from whatever wholesaler makes the gallon size, pure salty goop. Worst $ 6+ I have ever spend for food and would not recommend this to people.

I came back to give it a second try and I had the classic burger. It actually tasted fresher than the first burger I ate here. The patty definitely tastes cleaner and better than McDonald’s. It tastes homemade which I like. I don’t even feel like sh*t afterwards.

Mojo Burger is located inside the student union. One of my friend always tell me how the burgers here are delicious — but I noticed it’s quite pricey for a burger :(I rather go across the street for a cheap burger from Jack in the Box. Lol! Well the only item I got from here were tater tots! I love tater tots and I’m so happy there’s a place on campus where I can satisfy my tater tots craving :) It was only $ 1 and no tax! All single breakfast items are $ 1! I’m not sure what else is $ 1 on their breakfast menu — something like 2 slices of bacon, coffee, english muffin, and idk? I’ll try to snap a picture next time. Anyways, the service here is slow –___– For an order of tater tots I think it would be fast. I swear there was like 5 other people standing around waiting for their food. So, if you’re in a rush or trying to grab a quick snack before your next class then DON’T come here, unless you don’t care about being late – I’m pretty sure Taco Bell and Panda Express is faster. Haha! Anyways tater tots were delicious, I just wished they had more ketchup packets! They were out and I didn’t want to bother the workers since they looked so busy. Maybe I’ll try a burger some other time, but this is the spot for tater tots: D

It may not be the best food on campus, but $ 1 per item for breakfast is pretty awesome and filling. For $ 5 I get an English muffin, tater tots, eggs, bacon and coffee… I’m full, satisfied and ready to go about my day. People are taking advantage of this deal and you can expect a line around 9:15 am to 9:30 am. This will be my morning stop between classes.

Worst experience I ever had. Stay away. I was hungry I asked for the chicken it was very bad and it tooks forever. No wonder you will find the line empty apparently SJSU students knows about it. Hopefully it will run out of business soon so Starbucks will have room

I’ve had Mojo at other locations and enjoyed the meal. Yet, at SJSU, it’s a different story. My experience can be summed up by saying, «Melt the cheese… Come on Man!»

Really dry burger. I cannot believe i paid $ 5 for this burger. I would rather get burger king’s whopper.

Ehhhh this okay. The cheeseburger and french fries taste totally bland and plain. Not worth it for $ 7(so overpriced) but at least I got to know what it taste like.

The burger and fries were really dry, which is ridiculous because all I asked for on my burger was ketchup and mayo. The only time I would ever pick this joint over any other is if it was next to McDonald’s. The employees were nice enough, but it’s unfortunate that this is one of the few places to get a burger on campus.

Mojo Burger, located on the San Jose State University campus, offers decent selection of burgers and sides at a reasonable price. I ordered a «mini mo burger» and a side of «regular fries,» which was about $ 4.60 in total. The food court, also known as Union Square at this location, offers many places to sit with new comfy chairs. I don’t recommend eating here all the time, but I do recommend trying their food at least once.
