Reliable team, wonderful service! Amazon found this company for me to install a home charger for me. Impressed with their good service, I asked them again to install a new circuit for my old rental house for an additional AC unit. Though a different electrician, Rick, came to inspect and estimate the cost, he was courteous as well and careful to do the inspection. Rick and his team did a wonderful job to install the new circuit for my old house. Thank you Rick, thank you, Mainstream!

After reaching the person in charge, I was able to get a good quote and believe I will be going with them. I think they are honest and thoughtful. I will attempt to update this review after the work is done.

I’ve been dealing with Shane and his team for all my electric and HVAC issues over the years. I am a home inspector and I had Shane inspect 7 furnaces and 7 A/​C units at a large home I was inspecting. Very thorough inspection, communicated well to my client and his follow-​up report was timely and in detail.

I had previously had two other electricians work at our home. The results were all right; but I was looking for a different or new electrician in the hope that I would find someone either easier to work with, or who would leave me more impressed afterward. By that I mean that after you got the work done and you paid them, ideally you should feel like: They did an excellent job, were courteous, pleasant, kept things clean, and I don’t feel like I was overcharged for sloppy or incomplete work.
Now I needed some new work done, and I asked a couple of the usual go-​to electricians; but this was a good opportunity to expore further. So I was looking around on Unilocal,and found a favorable review of Main Stream. I booked an appointment with them; which was very easy to schedule within the fairly tight timeframe that I needed.
Some of the new work was installation, add-​on wiring and boxes, adding switches and receptacles, replacing receptacles, I had a variety of requests. I made the first appointment just to have some exhaust fans and switches added in the walls and ceilings of two bathrooms. Then, after reviewing a list of things my property inspector recommended that I have done, I asked Ed for a return appointment, to perform several other electrical changes. They took care of everything. They do very good, very clean work. They are very professional and are very easy to deal with.
I like Main Stream better, and will use them again in the future. They are not satisfied until me, the client is satisfied with the fully finished result I am grateful for the comprehensive, high quality service they performed at our house. Main Stream was the perfect provider to take care of all requirements I had for electrical work at my house. The next thing we will need is some add-​on receptacles in our 1950s kitchen, and perhaps updating some other receptacles, and adding circuits for lighting; I will be asking Main Stream to come do the work. Main Stream Electric is highly recommended all around. I have a Berko wall heating unit that went out, and needed to be replaced. Based on the Unilocal reviews I read on Main Stream Electric I decided to call them and have them assist me. This is the first time I have ever needed to call an electrician and I’m glad I called MSE. I was first assisted by Shane via phone, and his customer service skills were phenomenal! He was able to book me an appointment for a quote at no charge quickly.
Rick came out and was extremely friendly, honest, and knowledgeable about electrical practices. After speaking with him I was confident that he could execute the work and install my new wall unit. He removed my old unit and installed the new one, and was very clean with his work. I can not be more satisfied with MSE and I will make sure to refer them whenever I can. Thanks again!

We came home one afternoon and noticed the fridge wasn’t running (I know — sounds like a bad joke, right?) and then realized that one whole side of the kitchen was dead. I flipped the breakers, pushed the GFI button. Nothing. The next morning, my husband gave Main Stream a call and Dave and Co came out that afternoon. They immediately identified the problem … The OTHER GFI outlet that I had missed. I was sufficiently mortified and we all got a laugh out of it. Since I had him here, I had him check out and repair another minor electrical problem we’d been having and inquired about having another slightly larger problem looked into. Dave was personable, friendly and polite. He never made me feel silly (and he had sufficient material to work with had he wanted to) and his prices were unbelievably reasonable.
Would highly recommend Main Stream, and will definitely be calling upon them again!
