Judie’s Tacos Locos

Visited the food truck at the Mountain view Off the grid event and ordered their «Grilled Veggie quesadilla». The quesadilla was really good and tasty and the dish also came with a side of tortilla chips. I was not sure about the different types of squash in the dish but i was surprised that I liked it so much.
I would return to this place for more the next time they are around for another event.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this relatively plebeian looking taco truck. Because of suspicions, I veered away from the fried cheese tacos and chose a rather standard chicken quesadilla. It turned out to be one of the best I’ve had.
It is one of those quesadillas that puts all the toppings on the interior versus a la carte. Something I usually dislike, but fell in love.
The quesadilla was acidic from the onion, herbaceous from the fresh cilantro, and rich because of the chicken and cheese. It was not overly greasy.
I highly recommend the red and green salsas they offer as well. Overall a clean tasty taco truck that I would choose over any other taco trucks if I encountered it again.

They came to our neighborhood’s national night out last night, and they were so delicious! We had shrimp tacos, fried cheese tacos, steak quesadillas, cheese quesadillas, and a shrimp bowl. My family devoured the food and went back for seconds :) The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was reasonably priced! I’d go back in a heartbeat — A++++++

Wow, come here and get the fried cheese taco! Insanely delicious taco, crispy delicious cheese stuffed with choice of meat! The cheese taco is huge, about the size of two regular tacos, and for $ 4 its the best taco i have ever had, hands down.
So why not 5 stars? Well i also decided to try a pastor and shrimp taco, these were $ 3 each, very small street taco size, and didn’t have any flavor to the meat. Actually the shrimp, pastor, and steak were a little bland and missing something. The prices here are good, just wish the meat was marinated differently to give it more flavor.
I would come here and just get the fried cheese, but skip the regular tacos.

Got to try this food truck today at Off the Grid: Mountain View @ Computer History Museum. Food was amazing, the shrimp taco was perfection and the fried cheese taco had us speechless it was so yummy. Great food and we will definitely be following you all on Facebook to we ensure we can try more of this great food.

Ordered a carnitas super burrito at a Mountain View food truck event– 17 Jul 15. The burrito was far below California standards with respect to the high expectations as related to authentic Mexican comfort food. The pork was extremely salty. The beans were under cooked. The burrito was extremely dry. No beuno. Will not visit again.

Judie’s came out to my company for a work event and they were amazing. The staff was very polite and friendly. The food was amazing and so flavorful, especially the carnitas. I highly recommend their truck for any occasion. All the food tastes fresh and the roasted red salsa was perfection. Thanks for coming out guys!

So these guys just happened to be at SFO for Off the Grid. At first I groaned a bit because it seemed like there was always a Mexican and Japanese truck there. So since the other two trucks didn’t look all that good I thought I’d give these guys a try. So I tried their tacos and I ordered a Fried Cheese Taco not even knowing what it was just the whole «fried cheese» just sounded too good to pass up. The regular tacos were alright but nothing spectacular, then I tried the Fried Cheese Taco. If I could describe what was going on with my taste buds it would have to be a lion with wings, breathing fire. It was just that good. If there was one downside it would be that it’s really greasy but I wouldn’t expect nothing less from a fried cheese taco. If you try anything at this place try the fried cheese taco.

This place is great! The Fried Cheese Taco with steak is so yummy. I was skeptical when my friends raved about it, but I’m so glad I tried it. They fry a circle of cheese (basically a cheese tortilla), wrap it around the meat, and put it in a couple of tortillas with salsa, cilantro, and onions to top it off. It came out to $ 4.35 for one Fried Cheese Taco with chips and they’re pretty big so you don’t really need a lot more. The service was very friendly, but the wait was a little long. Can’t wait to go back next time they come around.

There was miscommunication with the person taking my order. They remade my order right away :) And the quesadillas stuffed with cilantro, onions, and avocado were delicious!

1. Fried Cheese Taco, Steak $ 4: Mexican Art on a Plate. That’s what it is. Looks so frickin’ good I am really tempted to upload my phone pics… but alas, I gotta stick with my rule about posting only pro slr pics, sorry. But trust me, I’ve never seen a more beautiful taco… except maybe the first taco I’ve had here! Two corn tortillas laid on each other, or laying with each other, like luva’s… er um… yeah, so on top of that comes another «secondary taco» of the fried cheese wrapped around the yummy steak, which is really good and tasty by itself btw. Then topped with 2 perfect pieces of avocado, and then the whole thing is painted on top with stripes of sour cream. Yes, looks epic, tastes out of this world. ¹⁰⁄₁₀.
2. Fried Cheese Taco, Chicken $ 4: Mmmmm… same as the Steak version but with chopped, grilled chicken. Chicken isn’t dry and is plenty savory, and lots of flavor. ¹⁰⁄₁₀.
Very happy to put this truck back on top!

Visited this food truck today while they were in Menlo Park.
I must say it was the best food I have ever ate from a food truck. Tasted like I was eating at a sit down restaurant. I ordered the burrito bowl and the taste was awesome. I would highly recommend if you are looking for authentic and fresh Mexican food.

Good burrito bowl, good amount of meat and tortilla chips on the side for $ 9 bucks.
Will have to try the other tacos as well next time.

It took a while to track this truck down. It showed up at a corporate parking lot and we swooped in. It was crazy crowded and we noted that people behind us were getting food. ??? We asked and somehow they lost our ticket. But they did the right thing snd comped us our meal, of asada, chicken tacos and a burrito. Pretty solid. Definitely will be back to try stuff they were out of. And hopefully it will be under less stressful circumstances.
