The guy that cut my hair doesn’t know how to follow directions! He didn’t even ask me if I liked the cut when he was done. He’s also unsanitary.

Avoid, unless you want something basic, like a trim
I have gone to the esthetician in the back, to shape my eyebrows. Like many asian women, I have sparse eyebrows which are hard to shape. Well, this esthetician plucked most of my eyebrows away, leaving a thin line of eyebrow. It was so bare that she had to draw parts of the eyebrow in. It looked OK for about a week, after which it grew out. I went to her again, and she (not remembering that I was a previous customer) was shocked at how little eyebrow I had and exclaimed her disbelief that anyone could do anything to shape my eyebrows in the state they were in. Um. Yeah, gee…
I have also had my hair cut and dyed here. The cuts are ok. They never seemed to turn out like the photos I would bring. I think that this has to do in part with skill but also in part due to the fact that the woman who cut my hair had her own idea of what my hair should look like. Int erms of the dye job, I wanted my hair a certain color, and told her, and she proceeded to dye my hair a different color, saying that they were out of the color I wanted! Also, she rushed through the job since there were other customers. Avoid!!!

After a month of travel, I decided to treat myself to a facial to recover from the 13+ hour plane ride I had just taken. For an affordable price. they really do a nice job on your face (extract black and white heads, mask, etc.).
The only thing is. they are slightly unprofessional. There is only one person who does facials. She was late for my appt. and midway through my facial. she starts yapping with one of the ladies who cuts hair right outside for. HALF AN HOUR. And I am not talking about whispering. I am talking about talking very loudly. The mask on my face COMPLETELY dried and felt disgusting. She also got some gunk in my hair.
But it is really affordable for what you get. So. I would recommend it. Just don’t expect four star service

Can’t beat the price of a $ 17 haircut. I’ve gotten compliments on a few of my textured, layered, Japanese-​style haircuts from Grace, one of the two owners.
Update June’08: But I’m not too happy with the most recent one she gave me – looks nothing like the photos I showed her!
