Mango moo and love potion #9 are my absolute fave drinks here! I love their crêpe with fruit, custard and vanilla ice cream! They have lots of variety for desserts like macaron, macaron ice cream, cakes, and cheesecake.

This place is the shit and I miss it. I always tend to crave sweet stuff like macaroons and milk tea late at night and hello desserts would always come in clutch. They have a bunch of various slices of cake, cheesecake, and usually a ton of macaroons including the ice cream macaroons. I would always get their potstickers and macaroons with a jasmine milk tea as my late night snack lol. For now I guess I’m stuck going to sno crave but that place always has too long of a wait! I can’t wait for hello desserts to open back up.

There were a lot of things from the menu that were not available. Prices for some items didn’t seem to be worth it. I did enjoy the Chubby Bunny Sundae because of the caramelized banana but other than that it’s just a regular sundae using chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge. Doubt I’d show up to this place again, there’s too many other things to try in the area.

Love this place! Love the food. But employees should be more outgoing. Like smile. This tall Asian guy never smiles. Try mango moo. Hella good.

I have a big sweet tooth so I was excited to come here with my friends. They have a wide variety of desserts, ranging from boba to Maven’s ice cream macarons, among many others. The interior is nothing special, but there’s a decent amount of seating. Service was alright, nothing notable. I ordered the green tea macaron and my friends got boba. The macaron was so good! It had the bold green tea flavor and the ice cream didn’t melt that fast, which is good for slow eaters like me. My friends said the boba wasn’t the best they’ve had, but they still enjoyed it. If this were closer to home, I’d probably come more often since it has a laid back, hangout vibe and so many sweets!

I totally wrote the wrong review for this place. Here’s the correct one. I stopped by here to get some tapioca with my brother and decided to get some dessert too. When looking at the deserts in the display I was disappointed because they all looked dried out. I then asked if they were made here and the nice girl working said no. They were from a different bakery. For a place specializing in deserts, I would expect them to look fresher and more appealing. Nonetheless I gave a macaron a try because my brother insisted and it was gross. I wasn’t disappointed because I kind of knew it would be already the moment I picked it up. It felt like and tasted like it was a prepackaged item from Costco that was sitting in the freezer a bit too long. My brother said his tapioca drink was a bit too sweet but still liked it enough to finish half.

I had Hello Desserts’ Cappuccino which was phenomenal as it came full-bodied and piping hot. I also tried some of my cousin’s Mai Thai, which was good too, especially the mango sorbet and coconut sorbet. However, the cappuccino was the best.

I love mangoes and strawberries… but today I was feeling mangooooooo. I thought this place was new, but the girl who rung me up told me they have been around for quite awhile now… my bad. It’s because I always frequent Bambu or Sharetea that I overlook the other boba/dessert places in the same plaza. It’s right next to Venus Café and the to-be Poke House! So as I said before, I was craving mango and what’s better than a mango milk green tea? The sales associate in the front(12/26/2015) told me they don’t offer mango milk tea BUT she was willing to try to make it for me. I went to the bathroom, came back and it was done! It tasted pretty good for an on the spot drink. I appreciate how kind and down she was to make a drink to my wishes. If you check in on Unilocal you get an size upgrade of your drink. Small to medium or medium to large. I upgraded small to medium and it came out to be only less than $ 4! SPECTACULARRRRR.

After slurping down some warm phở at Phở Tau Bay with my boyfriend and friends, I couldn’t wait to say«Hello…» *Adele voice* to dessert(it is my favorite meal of the day). I Unilocaled for dessert spots around and to our convenience, Hello Desserts was in the same plaza! It was pretty empty on a Sunday night(there was only one other table of 2 girls) so my expectations weren’t too high. We were greeted when we walked in and the cashier even handed us menus to make it easier while deciding. I wanted to try the Mango Moo but it was a cold, rainy night so I decided on the Lychee Bomber(lychee anything is my fave!) and dessert crêpe with nutella, bananas, and green tea ice cream. :Lychee Bomber–(4⁄5) Although I knew it was artificially flavored, you could not tell. The tea flavor was perfect and the lychee flavor was just the right amount after I asked for less sweet! It came with lychee jelly and REAL lychee pieces– I can always appreciate when places put in real lychee! :Dessert Crêpe–(4⁄5) MMmmm soooo good! Their crêpe batter was perfectly sweet and they cooked it well – crispy but chewy. I love how they don’t put too much Nutella either, it can be overpowering to other flavors. They weren’t skimpy with the bananas and even added strawberries on accident(I wasn’t complaining). Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely be back whenever my bf craves his Phở Tau Bay. So why the 3 stars? The desserts in the case looked… dry and stale, specially the lava cakes! I would play it safe and order the crepes, something you know is fresh because they’re made to order!

We dropped by Hello Desserts to try the Mavens Creamery — Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches only. They sell an assortment of flavors pre-made in a freezer case. You select the flavor and the server will bring your Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich dessert to your table. My hubby had the green tea, my daughter had the cookies & cream and I had the Ube Macapuno. Next time I’d like to try coffee hazelnut or Thai tea. The macaron ice cream sandwiches were yummy. The ice cream was full of flavor and the macarons were chewy. In addition Hello Desserts also serves Asian & European desserts, crepes, fruit smoothies, tea, espresso bar, snacks, sandwiches and soups.

I had their Chocolate Lave Cake, and they heated it up and served it with a little waffle cone and ice cream. It was amazingggg! And the rest of their desserts look good too… they have ice cream sandwiches, and macarons too! Haven’t tried any other food or drinks here but looks like a place I would try if I was close-by again.

The 4 stars is because they have Mavens macaron ice cream sandwiches ! I’ve tried all of their flavors and all of them are good. Seating is limited but they do have some tables outside. And I like that they’re open late.

Pretty standard place for desserts and snacks(especially late at night on weekends). I really like their passion fruit tea! They sell mavens but it’s pricier than other places it’s sold at. My mom’s favorite is the gingerbread chai but it looks like they haven’t restocked it in months. Some new staff aren’t really sure what to do and they kind of questioned the validity of our orders last time we went.

The dessert looks(especially in the menu) better than it tastes. I ordered the strawberry cream puff and they sprinkled only a few pieces of strawberry. :(It is not bad, but not as good as Beard Papa’s cream puff. The steam egg custard was overcooked and more tough than it should be. I’ve been to this place since their grand opening(almost 10 years ago?), and it hasn’t changed that much. It LOOKS good, but the taste doesn’t match its appearance unfortunately. Good news is that they offer a lot of variety of(Asian) desserts that you can’t really get anywhere else.

EH nothing all that special but it was close to where I was living for the summer which made it convenient to walk to PLUS it’s open late Of the items i tried, i haven’t found one to recommend —Almond cake: just ok but with the texture of tiramisu —Snow azuki with lychee jelly instead of red beans: the ice had no flavor, it was just drenched in milk & the green tea ice cream was also bland and icey!(poor quality) —Black and white coffee: ok NOTE: located in the 99 ranch plaza

Since my go-to crêpe place is located in Japan Town, I wanted to see if this place could be a decent 2nd option. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. I actually ordered a plain crêpe that isn’t a part of their menu(cinnamon sugar, butter, and whipped cream). You’d assume that every crêpe place would have cinnamon sugar, but they did NOT! However, she offered to improvise by mixing cinnamon and plain together. Now that is creative, is GREAT customer service! She could have easily said, «Sorry buddy! We don’t make that type of crêpe!» The crêpe was decent. CI’d give it a solid 3 stars, but it wasn’t Snow Azuki with Vanilla Bean ice cream is similar to Halo-Halo with tons of red bean. Lychee Bomber had the perfect amount of sweetness, and was refreshing! French Fries were well seasoned, but were dry and charred! Side note: The OG Goldilocks a couple doors down is no longer there. FYI! Conclusion: Decent place for drinks and pastries.

Mango Moo is my go-to drink! They make things pretty fast and there is plenty of room to sit– even outdoor seating. They sell a lot of things other than drinks like popcorn chicken, calamari, and a bunch of desserts like crepes and sundaes ANDMACAROONICECREAMSANDWICHES! Great place for desserts and hanging out.

Craved something sweet after stuffing ourselves with meat at Gen. I had no trouble redeeming the free drink upgrade offer through Unilocal when I finally decided on the lychee bomber. My friend got a peachee lychee drink… both were decent but nothing mind blowing. There is a small dessert case as well as a dessert and savory snack menu you can order off of. If I were to come back, I’d definitely check that out and maybe get a ice cream macaron.

A place that has so many options and is open late sounds like a done deal. However, I was not impressed with my visit here. I appreciate that the place is open until 11 pm and midnight on the weekends. I also enjoy their extensive menu. You will surely find something that sounds good. From cakes, to crepes, to milk tea, smoothies, gelato and ice cream, the place has something for everyone. When we came, there were plenty of tables open and it seemed like a good place to hold a conversation. I got the snow azuki since so many people were commenting on it. I’m not exactly sure how you’re supposed to eat this dessert. It comes in a cup so you would assume that you’d use a straw, but if you insert the straw to the bottom, your first few sips will be straight up red bean. I love red bean, but I’m not sure if I want to suck up all the red bean all in one go. The milk slush in the middle is just slightly sweet which is nice, but is way too icy! The ice needs to be crushed up way more unless you like biting ice with your teeth. My teeth are pretty sensitive to ice so I was not happy with that. I liked the green tea ice cream scoop on top, but you might need a spoon(which doesn’t come with your dessert drink). I definitely have had better green tea ice cream. The flavor of the ice cream was more subtle than most. I like my ice cream to burst with flavor and this was barely popping. My partner got the waffle bowl sundae and the pictures make it look big, but it’s not. The two scoops of gelato were pitifully small. The waffle bowl is way bigger than the scoops of ice cream so it looks like the bowl is swallowing the tiny scoops of gelato. The waffle bowl is crisp and does taste like waffles, but it wasn’t amazing. I’ve had fresher waffles cones/bowls. There was whipped cream on the sundae which actually made the presentation of the sundae worse. My friend got the Alfogotto which actually had a strong coffee to it and the sweet vanilla ice cream was nice. It comes in a cute little cup as well. This was actually pretty decent. Overall, not too thrilled about this place and I probably won’t come back unless friends are desperate for dessert late in the night. However, the menu is extensive so there might be better desserts. The happy camper(gelato that feeds 2 – 4 people) and the crepes actually looked decent.

So my bf and I went there around 11:45pm(yes I know they close at 12) and there were still a decent amount of people just chillin’. So my bf went first and ordered a Passion Affection(they said the ran out of pearls so he substituted it with lychee jelly instead), then I ordered a Peachee Lychee &6 «French Macaroons» and I kid you not the cashier repeated my order back to me. So while we waited for the drinks i picked out my macaroons. When the guy brought out only ONE drink I was a bit confused, so my bf told him that we ordered 2 drinks. The cashier lady came back out to check the computer & she told me that she only charged me for the one drink &6 macaroons. All in all, i wasn’t very happy with the service they provided. The French Macaroons were okay… I’ve honestly tasted better ones. This was my first and now will be MYLASTTIME coming here. Thanks for the experience.

on dat mangoo moooo hype. Its pretty close to my work and my parents love to tell me to come eat at the chinese noodle restaurant next door, sooo its a pretty convenient place to go. Its a pretty small store, its more like a buy and go kinda thing, but there are a few tables and chairs that are around. I always get the mango moo here… no matter how many times i tell myself to get something else. Its so delicious. I love that there are chunks of mango on top to enhance the flavor and its icey creamy smoothie goodness. yummmm. Will update my review when i finally try something else on the menu…

3.5 stars! I will round up because the Mango Moo fruit smoothie was really yummy! They offer a lot of drinks and desserts that sound delicious, especially the ones that have mango or lychee flavors or fruits in them. I had a tough time deciding what I wanted. I finally settled on the Mango Moo fruit smoothie, which has fresh mangoes, mango sorbet, milk, and topped with mango bits. Sounded delicious and it was. I could tell there was real mango in it(aside from the mango bits that I could see) because every so often a mango fiber would get caught in my teeth. It was tasty and refreshing — I would totally get this again. Plus the name is pretty cute. Moo. I also got the tofu mango pudding. This one was good too but not amazing. I liked the pieces of real fresh mango in it. The tofu part was good and had a good texture. But all together, it didn’t have a strong mango flavor. It tasted like an Asian dessert — not too sweet. I don’t think I would order this again. I come to the Pacific Rim Plaza from time to time, so I’ll come back to Hello Desserts to try some of their other fruit tea drinks and get the Mango Moo again.

About time I reviewed this place — I bought a Groupon awhile back that gave me a punch chard for five $ 7 vouchers to this place. BTW if you ever get one of those deals, they’re very strict on the whole, «May only redeem ONCE a day» since they right the date you redeemed it. Items I’ve had: — Popcorn Chicken: Eh, as Taiwanese popcorn chicken goes this place is alright. Their popcorn chicken is more salty than tasty/juicy and I feel more ripped off in how much they charge for the chicken vs how much you actually get. Quickly’s gives better value and tastes a lot better. — Sorbet/Gelato Sundae: Mmm, I though their sorbet/gelato was good. We had a sundae with green tea gelato, hazelnut chocolate gelato, and rasberry sorbet. Pretty weird combination but it actually tasted great! We asked for a topping of bananas, and to my surprise the bananas were caramelized with sugar. Mmm… — Nutella Banana Cream Puff Sandwich: Nothing really spectacular — it’s as the name suggests. Just nutella and banana sandwiched inside a cream puff that’s been toasted. The cream was melting since the sandwich was warm, so it made for a weird, messy experience. — Willow Dew: I really like this! I’m actually not sure what it is… but it tasted great! Like a coconut mango soup. It has some chunks of mango in it and a few chunks of grapefruit(I avoided eating these since I hate grapefruit). The first time I had this it came with tiny tapioca pearls… the 2nd time I ordered it, there were no tapioca pearls. Overall, it’s an OK dessert place. I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to come here anymore now that I don’t have a Groupon. Items are kinda pricey IMO. I’d say this is a good hang-out spot with friends, since they offer a little something for everyone. Boyfriend could go for a crêpe but you’ve got a friend who wants boba while someone else wants ice cream? This is your place.
