Pierre is amazing. I came to him per many positive Unilocal reviews. After his work on my hair, I feel like a new person and more confident. Pierre is probably one of the best hairstylists and colorists that I have been searching high and low in the Bay Areas.

I came in and Pierre did wonders to my hair he made it a dark blonde after I had accidentally turned it copper from a box dye! He added highlights which I usually do not like but these look so natural. He also was honest and wouldn’t do anything to my hair that he knew I wouldn’t be happy with. He really listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me so much. This is the best my hair has ever looked!

I went to Pierre to get rid of my grays. As soon as I sat down he wanted to know the back story of my hair. Grays since I was 18! Pregnant and didn’t want to color my hair and then too busy with the baby to color my hair. He explained to me what it was going to take for my hair to look lively and vibrant again. He wasn’t afraid to be direct and tell me what would work and wouldn’t work. I said work your magic. He absolutely knew what he was doing. My hair turned out awesome! I instantly looked younger and my hair was left feeling soft, bouncy, and a beautiful shade of espresso with no grays! Pierre is easy to talk to. He is very fun and and kept me current on my celebrity news. I will be seeing Pierre again!

For the first time I was so happy with the salon and stylist I discover. Pierre is so good and very linient. He made my hair healthy and my haircut is so millenium in style.(like what Pierre said) lol. Thank you so much Pierre I will surely keep u as my hair stylist

This was my first visit with Pierre and he was nothing. Short than AMAZING!!! I had a hair emergency, and Pierre was very accommodating at getting me in quickly. He was able to color correct my hair and bring it back to life. He really knows how to make a girl feel beautiful. Not only is he good with his hands, but he makes you feel comfortable with conversation. All in all, if you want to look fabulous, go to Pierre Dinh!!!

I had caramel balayage done by pierre and i absolutely love it. He walked me through everything making sure it was what i wanted and offered other suggestions since i wasnt too specific with what i wanted. He’s great to talk to and great at his job. Id definitely go back.

Few months ago, I experimented and bleached my hair, then it got damaged. It was ugly. Then 2 months later, i decided to get it trimmed. I went to a salon and hoping it’ll get «fixed». Sadly, I was wrong. I got so slightly depressed that i just wanted to shave my head off thinking it will undo the damage. Then I went on Unilocal browsing for a hairstylist close to my location. Hair by Pierre Dinh was on number 1. So I checked it out and I was amazed and impressed by all the works and good words for him. I read on 1 of the comments that he can be texted and so I did, he responded and he got a spot for me that same day. Omg. So i got ready and went to his salon. The place was clean and tidy. I explained to him what was the problem and then right there he explained to me what was needed to be done. And there, voila!, i was like a new person I loved it.

Pierre is an awesome person. I never saw my hair so beautiful after haircut. This is my first haircut in USA. I am new to this place and Pierre made me feel so comfortable. Finally I found the perfect hair stylist.

I just got a really great haircut by Pierre. He is really nice and does a great job!!! Definitely going back!!!

Luck was on my side when I found Pierre on Unilocal today. My stylist from Fremont couldn’t take me in until later in the afternoon so I thought why not just find someone close to home? Pierre didn’t disappoint! I now have a new stylist close to home!

I went to see Pierre right before the Holidays, and all I can say is EXCEPTIONAL service. Not only is he hilarious and a great conversationalist, but he gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I have this silly fear of going blonde, but I wanted some dimension and «highlights» in my hair. He gave me lowlights (to match my dark brown hair) and just partial warm brown highlights to add that depth I wanted. He also trimmed my hair, but still kept it long (a huge huge plus for me, since everywhere I go, hair stylists seem to think a trim= cutting off 4 inches of hair!) All in all, GO SEE PIERRE, :)

Pierre is a great human being. From the moment we met, he was cordial, genuine and professional.
I contacted him because I was frustrated with my hair looking a mess after 5 months of growing it out without getting it regularly trimmed. I had just been tying my hair back everyday just to make it look okay. My haircut had no shape or form anymore.
When I sat down with him and he started analyzing my hair, I knew I was in good hands. We discussed why regular trims are necessary for healthy growth, what my long term goals are, and how to get there. He was extremely knowledgable about hair and maintenance and I learned a lot from just chatting with him. He worked meticulously and efficiently. He gave me a simple, low maintenance haircut that brought out the natural beauty and shine of my hair without any fancy work with the blow dryer, flat iron, dyes or products. I was amazed at the transformation! And I was on my way home in less than an hour!
I look forward to seeing him again in a couple of month for another trim and friendly company! Thank you, Pierre!

I’ve been coming to see Pierre for about a decade now and he never disappoints. I live in LA now and still make the journey to see him every ten weeks or so since I haven’t been able to find anyone in LA I trust as much as him. His cuts last a really long time without losing their shape which is perfect since I can’t see him as often as I would like. He uses really top notch products so the colors I get fade really slowly and have never damaged my hair. I highly recommend going to see him

Pierre is awesome, I’ve been bouncing around from hair Stylist to Hair Stylist this past year, ever since my stylist moved down south. He cut and colored my hair today and for the first time in a long time I left the salon smiling and so happy with my hair!!!

After 5 years of looking, I’ve found my hairdresser! Thank you, Pierre! I absolutely LOVE my haircut and color. Pierre really knows his stuff! I called for an appointment because of the Unilocal reviews. I was a little nervous/​skeptical of how true all the 5 star reviews were. But I’m so glad that I booked an appointment. And he was so great to fit me in on a Sunday when he normally doesn’t work! That’s customer service! He asked me to email a picture of the haircut I wanted and I told him that needed some color to cover up my grays but I’m a busy mom with little kids. So I didn’t want anything that was too high maintenance. He totally nailed it! I’ll be back from now on! Thanks again, Pierre!

Pierre cut my hair today, and I felt so compelled to come home and write a review straight away.
About me: Middle-​Eastern decent so my hair is thick, thick, thick, and wavy. 8 months ago, I was so tired of fighting it with a flat iron every day, I chemically straightened it. Fast forward and although my hair is jet straight, it has absolutely no body or texture. None. I have gone to different salons with various recommendations about stylists to try, from co-​workers and other friends. Today I found my guy:)
I am so pleased with my hair. He gave me an amazing cut. One that allows me to work with the locks I have, rather then battling them day in and day out. This man truly has hair down, as an art. Not many stylists do, especially those that have tried to tame my mane. It is therefore, why I full hardheartedly endorse Pierre as an amazing stylist; especially those of us with the thick, lustrous, untameable (is that a word) and unmanageable hair.

Pierre is my savior.
Before coming to Pierre, I decided to let a friend tone my hair. Long story short, this «toner» burned off half my hair. This thing took off at least 4 inches of my hair. To sum it up, I was a hot mess and refused to be seen in public until my hair was fixed.
It was maybe 10:30pm when I found Pierre’s phone number on Unilocal,so I decided to text him telling him I had an emergency and to see if he can get me in early the next morning. I wasn’t expecting him to reply since it was so late, but SOMEONE IS LOOKING OUT FOR ME UP THERE because a few minutes later there was Pierre’s text asking me if 8am was okay.
I came in at 8 AM with my hair in a bun trying to hide the mess that was my hair. Explained to Pierre what had happened, and he dove right in. He told me what had to be done, and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. He kept reassuring me that this is what’s best and I said «Do what you gotta do, I trust you.» He gave me tips during my session there with him on how to maintain my hair and what I can do to help it be/​look healthier.
I don’t know what would have happened if Pierre didn’t swoop in and saved the day. THANK YOU SO MUCH PIERRE.
Bottom line: Go see Pierre for all your hair needs. I will definitely be coming back.

I made the stupid mistake of going to another stylist and my hair was jacked up and not the right color at all!!!
It’s ok though. Pierre got me Dino girl purple and heath again in no time. Now I’m ready for great nights out !
He used the best types of dyes and conditioning treatments. My hair was fried before and now it is silky smooth.
He gave me step by step breakdowns on what was going to happen and kept me informed. We decided a purple that fades into white would be the best option with my hair being what it was when I came in.
He’s witty, smart, and the absolute best when it comes to making you feel comfortable. It’s best when your stylist is also your buddy.
Coming back here from now on.
Pro-​tip: he is absolutely amazing when it comes to color!!! My hair is the purple pictures! See how I came to him? He performed a hairmergency on a catastrophe.

Pierre is one of the best hair dressers I’ve ever had. He not only knows how to do highlights but he knows how to cut your hair too!!! Before coming to Pierre I had problems with my hair. It was looking pretty damage dull and it wasn’t growing. What a difference 7 weeks made. My hair looks healthy. He made it grown. The haircut looks amazing and he got the right color of my highlights right from the start I highly recommend you see Pierre if you want to look fabulous. One of my coworkers came to see him and she can’t be happier with the results. He is also very sweet and professional!

Pierre is SUPER sweet and professional. I came into the salon only after reading a few good reviews and he was everything everyone raved about. Extremely friendly to talk to and he knows his stuff. He recommendation was pretty spot-​on for me, and he takes into account your own style when he cuts your hair. I forgot to mention that I had recently dyed my hair, so he ended up getting lilac-​stained hands after he washed and cut my hair. He didn’t seem at all upset by it either, rather, he just laughed it off. (I sure as hell would’ve been pissed if I was in his shoes) I definitely would recommend him to my friends and family.
