El Sinaloense

Hi,
I have been coming to this place for more than 5 years. And let me tell you, if you like Sinaloa style seafood this is the place to visit.
They have the best ceviche that I have ever tried. Fresh, and a very addictive taste. They have other seafood stuff but what I really love is Ceviche.
I have also tried their Corn Tamales, they are pretty good to.
They have tacos too but I they are not as great as the seafood.
The place saw an owner change in last 2 years, but quality/​taste stayed. I’m thankful we have a place like this in bay area.
They switched location few yards, they are now in the plaza which is in front of the valero station.
Note, this place is not fancy and only have some rustic tables, so in general I always order my food to go. Don’t let this minor detail to prevent you from tasting this delicious food!

This is arguably the best taco stand in the San Jose area! The only way to believe it is to go experience it. I am what some would call a taco connoisseur and try to seek the closest traditional cuisine of Mexico in the area. This stand was worth my time to create a Unilocal account and write a review about this food letting other adventurous people to experience cuisine outside what they think they know is Mexican cuisine. Just like all taco stands the atmosphere of the dining experience requires a smooth ballad of hand and speech coordination to communicate and interpret your hunger needs to the receptive and eager to serve man with the tongs unless you can muster up decent accented Spanish words to expedite the experience. The server and owner are always present and they are very friendly ready to accept any business from the diverse San Jose population.
Bottom line: great tacos worth the trip and worth your time to get hooked on the best tacos. Start off with the chicharron tacos and top it off with the freshly chopped onions and cilantro and top it off with the fresh traditionally made salsa. squeeze a little lime to finish it off and experience true Mexican cuisine straight from guatelajara Jalisco Mexico.

Ive been eating at this taco stand for about 3 years. Its right by the Valero gas station. They have chicharron tacos which are really the best tacos ive had. They also have shredded beef which is barbacoa. The salsa is nice and spicey. Its always busy with Mexicans. The atole is awe. wait for it. some!!! Its a hot rice drink similar to a horchata but thick. Try it out!!! The place is clean, the food is fresh, and the owner is a nice guy.
