This place is a dump. I dropped in to pick up a few quick items and the stench from the meat market was unbearable. They don’t follow the law regarding single use bags and when I asked the cashier about it she snapped at me. The landscaping consists of dead weeds. The building is tagged with graffiti and the owners don’t have enough self respect to clean it up. The city and health department need to shut this place down. I will NEVER go back.

Cashiers are extremely rude just like the butchers!
They don’t sell you more than 20lbs of meat! I needed more than that for a party and they didn’t want to give me more! They don’t have a lot of customers anyways might as well sell it to the ones that are interested!
By the way if you see behind the counter you can see how disgusting it is! If health department sees it they would make them close down right away.

If you don’t speak Spanish, the employees are extremely rude to you. & if your a guy trying to buy meat from the back, forget about it. Bunch of Perves that prey on chicks and let them cut you. Bullshit service. Food is decent at best

1 of the worst place to buy meat do not buy the hamburger meat there is nothing but fat .I got 15lb thought i was getting a deal, the guy in the back of the counter that was helping me spoke something in spanish to the guy grinding the meat an the next thing i know i had a double plastic (non-​see thru) grocery bag full of fat meat. I took the bag-​o-​fat to the meat market on alum rock n jackson where a REAL butcher analyzed it n asked me to show his wife, as they both laughed in disgust, they told me I had about 60% of fat in the meat! That’s 30% over gov. regulations! These people take advantage of those who don’t speak or understand their language! Consumer BEWARE!!!
