Been going for over 2 years now, on and off.
The good: Booking online, responsive to email questions, close to my neighborhood, always seen exactly on time, competitive pricing, very little irritation post-​treatment, effective (it works!), clean work area, calm and serene environment.
The not so great: They’ve become very busy. Be sure to booka appts in advance!
Love this place.

Eden Electrolysis is the best place in the Bay Area to get your hair removed and a treasured gem in the LGBTQ community. Charlotte and Danae are open minded and have great personalities. I’ve had many sessions with Danae and I can say she is a warmhearted and caring person who is very skilled and knowledgeable in her work. I highly recommend her!

Terrible service. I called and made an appointment. I got lost and called in to let them know I was going to be late cause I got lost finding the place. I got there less than 10 minutes after my appointment time and no one was at the front. I sat down waited another ten minutes. I waited because I had an appointment, I figured someone would be coming up but nope so I finally said hello and this lady came out and I told her I had an appt. she checked in their system and there I was, but the person I was seeing was already with someone. She tells her she had an appt and she says, «No.» And she says yes, it’s in the system. She then says, «No. There was no one in that spot.» Mind you, when you make an appt, it isn’t through them. You speak to someone else who doesn’t work in the building with them. The other lady then asks me if I want to wait half an hour to see her. Why would I wanna see a b$&@h who doesn’t want to see me? The lady then apologizes and tells me someone wanted to move up their appt and I guess she let them. Oh, I’m sorry. I’m not a regular so I don’t get those privileges? You know how people write reviews for themselves, I think this is what happened. I didn’t even meet Danae and she was so rude and disrespectful already. She didn’t even bother to try to fix the situation. She just kept saying «no. No. No. I don’t have an appt.» the other lady tho, she was apologizing and trying to see if I wanted to reschedule and blah. But don’t really wanna have someone working on me who doesn’t seem to care. I think she just wants the money cause their prices are pretty expensive. Sucks we HAVE TO give a one star. I guess the one star would be for the other lady who was actually trying to help me. She even said, «she probably thought you weren’t going to make it so she bumped someone up. «they didn’t even bother to follow up with the person who makes the appt to see if I called in late or to even call me. Isn’t that why they ask for your phone number? It wasn’t even 10 minutes and she already decided to see someone. Unless you’re a regular, then you’ll get special privileges, but if not she could not care less. I could’ve been a regular, but nope. Don’t want to be in that type of atmosphere.

Just had my first session today with Charlotte and it was absolutely amazing. I have been treated for electrolysis for the past 3 years at a different place and I saw no improvement, the treatment was very sporadic and she didn’t completely clear off an area before moving on to the next. I’ve got to say that I had a completely different experience at Eden Electrolysis! It was professional, informative, efficient, and the customer service was excellent. I am happy I came here! :)

Clean, neat, beautiful furnishings. Great work, quick, stress free services. Absolutely love it!

I am an electrolysis veteran. I have been to many clinics over my 40 years of hair removal.
Charlotte firstly is awesome. Punctual, professional, efficient and effective.
She uses most current technology. including an advanced cooling down technique most do not use at all.
I had no skin reaction, very little redness and no irritation.
Charlotte worked continuously for 60 minutes without stopping to converse or answer the phone as many do.
I have a great feeling I won’t be looking for another Electrologist any time soon.
Don’t hesitate. she’s REALLY good!

I’ve been going here for roughly over 6 months now. I started at 2 – 3 hours every 2 weeks, to just 1 hour a month. The girls are cool and open minded, and they make sure that you are comfortable during the procedure. They also specialize in transgender clients, so don’t be shy! (Also, they LOVE trance music.) They now have 3 girls working there (Danae, Charlotte, and Chris), so they should have more space. They are unfortunately very packed, so be sure you can stand waiting 2 – 3 weeks between appointments!
The rates are great. At $ 1/​min +$ 15/​hour, that’s really great. You’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else as professional, open, and priced as they are. I highly recommend this place, trans or not.
P. S. I’m going to miss this place. I’ll be heading down to San Diego for school in a month. I’ll miss you Danae! :(But I’ll be back in 2 – 3 years. See you then. :)

So I have been hesitant in adding a review because, as I have told the girls before, they’re already crazy booked and if I share how awesome they are, it’ll get worse. But they just added a new tech so I think I’m safe! Hahaha.
I’ve been coming for the past 10 months for PCOS facial hair. Danae and Char are goddess-​sends. I started with 2 one hour sessions a week, I’m now down to one and we are slowly bringing that down, but apparently I’m running out of hair!?!
There is some pain involved. I mean you’re getting each hair zapped. But drink lots of water, get a good nights rest and easy on the caffeine, it’ll be fine. Now I’m used to it so I tend not to bother but I should probably be better to myself anyway. The girls make sure you’re comfy and play relaxing music. I kind of treat it as my relax time and have been known to snooze from time to time during a session. Other times we just have and hour long gab session.
Honestly I never thought there would be a solution to my hairy problem, but we stuck together and I’m feeling WAAAAY BETTER about my self. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Go in and get your consult. Promise you won’t regret it. Best thing I ever did was meeting with Danae.

There are so many great things to say about the ladies that work here. I have been coming here for about a year. The results have been fantastic. Both ladies work with your skin type to minimize redness and pain. I love the fact that both ladies are truly amazing. I’ve seen results from day one. If you want electrolysis done right the first time, this is the place to go.

I found Eden through online search and based on the reviews and distance to my house, I chose this place and I am really glad I did. I have been visiting Eden for an year now and I am very happy with the results. They are knowledgable and really know what they are doing. You can discuss your concerns and they were always ready to accommodate me according to my work schedule. The environment is clean and my skin is a lot better in the past one year. I am really glad I chose this place.

This place is amazing. I found out about them through an online search a few years ago. I started my sessions back in the fall of 2010, when Charlotte was running Eden Electrolysis out of a small room in the Oddfellows building.
I chose electrolysis after a lot of research. I know there are other technologies available, but electrolysis has been around for ages and is the only highly effective way that very thick and dark hair on people with pigmented skin can be removed permanently.
My results have been fantastic. I had a lot of thick facial hair due to PCOS and it’s nearly all gone. Needless to say my self confidence has increased and I’m no longer as self conscious about my face when I’m not wearing makeup.
Both Charlotte and Danae are fantastic at what they do, and great people to boot. I cannot recommend this place enough. Doesn’t matter if you’re trans or cis, male or female, they will take great care of you and make sure you get the treatment that’s right for you based on your skin and hair type.

Eden Electrolysis was suggested to my fiancé by her Trans-​Therapist as a safe place to go. There was a long list of safe places but none were as welcoming, friendly and informative as Eden Electrolysis. If you want hair removed for ANY reason, please contact them and find out for yourself.
On the phone I was able to get ALL my questions answered and once me and my fiancé arrived we were greeted with professionalism of the highest level while still feeling like an open safe environment. The office is personal and you are assured you are the center of the doctor’s attention.
You feel like your comfort is key for the process and there is an open discussion of how you are doing while it’s going on.
What more can I say? At Eden Electrolysis my fear of discomfort for my fiancé was alleviated, and we both came out extremely satisfied.
The payment options are great as well, you pick how many hours you wish to do after your orientation and you pay by the hour so you are able to work at your own financial pace. SO thankful they exist.

This is about as good an electrolysis clinic as you are going to find. Charlotte and Joie-​Danae are professional, knowledgeable and personable. They are open on more days and later then almost any electrolysis clinic i’ve ever heard of. They also charge a fairly reasonable rate for electro in the bay are, I was paying more in the midwest!

I’ve been looking for a great place to go for full facial electrolysis for some time now but found the process extremely intimidating to research and found most clinics to be a little odd at best. Calling Charlotte at Eden Electrolysis was one of the most revolutionary phone calls I’ve made in my life.
