I love this place. I work in the mall so the people there probably already know me. The workers are very nice everytime. And the food is really delicious. Im happy they finally put an indian restaurant in this mall.

Great curry place! We stopped by and the staff was very friendly. The focus here is not on spice, but rather on flavor. My son had the Naan pizza and he filled up on 2 slices. The owner, I think, was generous with his time and was great to interact with. As much as I live curries and Indian food, too often the spices are over powering for me. We will be back to sample more flavor a in the future.

It’s pretty tough for a restaurant to deliver the same«fresh promise» as good ol’ home cooked food, but this place comes pretty darn close. I’m a food snob, so making a mall foodcourt kiosk my dinner destination sounds absurd… but the food is THAT good! The first time, I tried it in a desperate hunger pinch… and have gone back 3 times just this past week! Good talent, fresh ingredients, authentic flavor notes, minimal westernization and a sound biz strategy. Having dessert at the Cheesecake Factory next door is just an added bonus. Let’s hope Curry Roots maintains its quality standards and doesn’t sacrifice the brand by penny-pinching as time goes by. We’ll be watching(…and eating) as they gain experience and grow.

Fantastic food in the Oakridge Mall! Great, friendly staff too! I got Chicken Tikka, Potato and Cauliflower, and rice. My wife got two chicken dishes with naan. It was very delicious, as were the ice cream bars they sell. An important part of most Asian food for me is «how good is the rice?», and I was a fan of the rice here, which complemented the main dishes quite well.

This place is great. If you are in the mood for some curry or just want something different then the standard mall food fare then this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and keep the line moving. 1

The best Indian food I ever tried. They have only been here a month and I’m coming back to this place again and again. Everything here just tastes so great…

OK food, lame customer service. For some reason the woman stopped serving me and served a woman who cut in line in front of me, even though we were the only two people in line. Then they didn’t have any paper to print a receipt. Took me about 10 minutes to order and get my food.

authentic Indian with reasonable prices. the ala cart option is great for taking food home. You can get their entrée in small/medium/large size containers. Small is around $ 4? the staff were super friendly and would give you samples on anything you want to try. Also, lots of vegan/veggie options as well.

I absolutely loved this place. Everything was fresh and appealing. The ability of to sample everything really makes it easy for people that are unsure to realize this place is ridiculous…-ly delicious!!! We had the chicken korma, chicken tikka massala, veggie samosas, naan bread, white basmati rice and the mango lasi. Everything was delicious. The people here are super friendly, they do a great job at running their business. To the owners: SOGLADTOHAVEYOUGUYSHERE.(: if you’re skeptical just walk up and sample, it’s amazing.

Lets be honest here, its definitely decent but not 5 star Indian food. The first 20 or so people who have reviewed this place have significantly over-hyped this place up to a unrealistic expectation of mind-blowing food. It isn’t mind blowing and I’ll be honest that I was almost debating giving them a 3 star review instead. And this place isn’t the busiest on this side of the food court, it is next to Pizza Studio. I figured the service was really excellent and tastings are available for free, so I will give them an extra star. The freshness of the food was pretty good and the lemon rice was a nice flavor change from the usual. The prices are not exorbitant although you can probably get more for your money at Panda Express… I got the coconut chicken, chicken tikka masala, and lemon rice. Everything was $ 8 and change.

Staff: Very Nice. Speed of Service: Super Fast! Price: Great! $ 7-$ 8 Food: Awesome! Rating: I would normally give this 4 stars but it gets an extra star due to the sliding scale system for a mall food court. I have ate here a few times and have had the coconut curry chicken, chicken korma, and the chicken masala. All the dishes were great. They give you a choice of having your dish with rice or naan. Im sure you could have both if you like. Every time I have ordered I have had it with rice so I cannot speak for the naan. So glad there is finally something else besides greasy food in the Oakridge Mall.

3rd time eating here and I just have to leave a review after yet another utterly pleasant experience. So delicious and so nice to have«real» food in the food court — not to mention SOLID vegetarian selections. The people who work here are remarkably kind and flat out pleasant. The rest of the food court can go home. Bye Felicia.

Finally Indian food in Oakridge Mall! I loved their minimal design in the menu on the top. I ended up coming here 3 times in 3 weeks. The food was great every time! So far we have had chickpea masala, veg and chicken korma, chicken tikka masala and coconut curry chicken. My husband really enjoyed the chicken dishes and I have liked their veggie options. The samosas are good too! The last time I ended up having a nice friendly conversation with the owners and I shared how happy I was that we have an option for Indian food in the mall. They asked me if I would like to see something else on the menu — so here are a few ideas — it would be nice to have some healthy options like whole wheat roti, brown rice, dal etc. And maybe some more veggie dishes — bhindi, peas, baingan etc. Thank you for asking for feedback, you showed that you care about customer service.

This is super tasty! It’s not good«for mall food” – it’s just good! We had the lemon rice, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, naan, and mint chutney and tamarind chutney. The palak paneer was really good and a little spicy, which we liked. The tikka masala had vegetables in it, which was great. The mint chutney and tamarind chutney were both delicious! The employees were extremely kind and friendly. You should go visit them, now!

Finally an Indian spot to get your fix while shopping at Oakridge. Place is super clean, easy to understand the menu, and quick. Chicken tikka masala was spot on — spicy and tangy. Spinach paneer was ok — a little lukewarm and one note — it was good but nothing to rave about. The Naan was a good portion — a by doughy but what can you expect for fast food. Free coupon for a veggie samosa which was on point — crispy medium thin pastry with loads of potato inside. The green chutney was legit — not makeshift or rotten. Overall, looking forward to trying it again. They discontinued the tandoori chicken side — that might be a deal killer for the future as I wanted a drier protein to pair and balance with all the sauces. I bet it was the $ 1.50 price they are re-working. That would be a steal.

I love Indian food so I’m glad there’s one here in the mall. For«mall food» this place isn’t bad at all. I like how you can sample items before choosing your entrée. Lots of items to choose from. I wish they had butter chicken though. The worker giving out samples, RAHEL was very kind giving me descriptions of the entrees and bringing me samples to my table and asking how everything tasted. I ended up getting the veggie samosa(1 order comes with 2 for $ 3.99) and the chicken samosas(3 for $ 3.99) but the chicken samosas are teeny weeny bite sized. I also got a mango lassi. The mango lassi was good. I didn’t care for the chicken samosa but I really liked th vegetable samosa. I would definitely come back.

As someone that eats a lot of Indian food, this food court Indian place is surprisingly good. Portion sizes were solid and prices lower than I’ve ever seen, roughly $ 8 for a full meal. Chicken, rice, veg, samosas, naan, all delicious and hit the spot. Hope they can keep this quality up! Only time will tell.

This Indian fast food restaurant is inside the Westfield Oakridge mall food court. We had their vegetarian Samosas(2 for $ 3) and Masala chai($ 3) and ginger tea($ 3). Samosas were crispy and good. Chai was very good too. I wish they served chai in chai glasses rather than the paper cups. They have very reasonable pricing. However, the menu hardly has four or five items. They should include more items. Food here is ready to serve like in fast food joints, so there is no wait time. Service is great. I did really like what I had, but I’m disappointed that their menu is not elaborate.
