Either the phone number listed is incorrect or the employees never care to answer the phone. I can never get through to a live person when I call.

Service has been amazing and all occasions that I’ve been here the food is really good but I must say it wasn’t too consistent since sometimes the sauce is very watery and sometimes it’s very thick the prices are little bit on the higher end but not too crazy I believe it was $ 37 for a Dungeoness crab after tipping it was about $ 45 but I paid a lot more for crab so I not complaining. I’ve been served by the Mexican girl she is very competent in the menu and very sweet also I’ve been served by a Mexican guy he was totally funny and really nice. this used to be the old Sonoma chicken coop. Overall I like this place it’s closer to my house then my other favorite crawfish restaurants like claw shack or kicking crab so I will definitely be back. Over all I would say I get this please 3.5 stars

Only a few customers on Sunday night, much less than we expected. The Cajun seafood is very good and cheaper than other Cajun places. The grilled seafood is kind of sweet, Vietnamese style I guess. Overall pretty good place.

OVERPRICEDCRAWFISH14.99HOLYFUHHH. This place yeah it may be good. The sauce is on the watery side, too much bay leaves going on. It started to become very overpowering for my taste. The crawfish is really small as well but i dont blame since Cf season is over. I just don’t love or hate the cf. However extremely overprice. if i had known i would’ve ordered something else. Also my favorite things to eat are rice snails. I apologize for the negative review but it was way over cooked which made it difficult to pick out the meat. EACH snail was dead. I know because the taste was awful it smelt like it were decaying. so yes i confirmed them all dead because i did not have one that came out like it should. the taste and texture should be similar to that of a clam. but it was way beyond that. good thing we were refunded for that. However everything else was just bland. Including the scallop and oysters. Hopefully this place will get better but I’m just not a fan. sorry.

This place is new and The food here is really fresh. I love their large selection of Oc. The crawfish is fresh and flavorful. Their staff is super friendly and service is great. If you like crawfish and oc, you gotta try this place.

I came here a few weeks ago with my cousin because we wanted to try out something new and I heard really good things about this place. We ordered the blood clams with tamarind sauce, blue crabs in XO sauce, two lbs of cf(one of each sauce: cajun and garlic butter), and the scallops. The sauce for the blood clams was really good(keep in mind it’s the smaller clams). My favorite is definitely the scallops! Don’t skip out on ordering it! The XO blue crabs didn’t really do much for me because I could barely taste the XO. The crawfish has good flavor to it, but they both taste exactly the same in my opinion with the exception of one being slightly more spicy than the other. Also for some reason, I can taste coconut in both flavors. Basically they’re going for a more Asian flavor rather than Cajun or Louisiana so if that’s what you’re looking for, skip out on this place. The service is super friendly! Overall, I like this place. Although next time I’d probably skip out on the crawfish and just eat the sea snails and clams

I give this place a 3.5. Didn’t give them 4 stars because they didn’t have the one thing I came for… blue crab with XO sauce. But other than that, everything was pretty good! The sauce was actually spicy and the crawfish was good too. I would pass on the coconut milk snails though– the sauce was too sweet for my liking. I’d come back again to try the escargot and blue crab.

I’ve been going here for Vietnamese coffee since 1996. So it was strange for me to come in and remember it’s now a restaurant. The decorations were nice but it’s still really dark, like how it was before. They should probably update the lighting. I came here with my crawfish eating partner, my fellow foodie/drinking buddy, my bestie(diehard seafood lover), and my bf(the everything but seafood eater). We got grilled scallops with chefs special sauce, surf clams grilled with special sauce, 3 lbs of crawfish and 1 lb clams Louisiana spicy, 2 lbs crawfish Louisiana mild with a kicker, garlic noodles, garlic fries, and chicken wings. My friends were not wowed by the scallops or surf clams. They actually needed fish sauce to add flavor. The crawfish was horrible. They tasted like rotten shrimp. Like when you eat crabs that died on their own as opposed to you killing it, if you know what I mean. It was very fishy tasting. That’s the best way I can describe it. I ate 3 crawfish out of 3POUNDS. AND I had to spit out 1 of them, it was so bad. The clams were OK. The sauce was really meh for me. It definitely wasn’t spicy enough nor did it have much flavor besides the garlic and butter. Not sure why they even have the choice of Louisiana or garlic and butter, when that’s all the Louisiana was. The potatoes were still very hard. The corn was good. The sausages, at 75 cents each, were not worth the money. The garlic noodles were cooked with some kind of garlic powder and SOYSAUCE(wtf?!); there was nary a garlic in sight. The garlic fries was topped with a garlic powder and Cajun seasoning. It was crispy, but also no real garlic was used. Not even the cheap, minced garlic seen in other Unilocal pics. The chicken was probably the best part of the meal and it wasn’t even that good lol The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. The person who took our order didn’t speak English or Vietnamese very well. It was hard to understand what she was saying and hard to communicate with her. They had maybe 5 or 6 people working and since we were 1 of 2 groups there, they didn’t have much to do, so they stood at the front of the restaurant. Where our table was. Like 2 – 3 feet away. All of them. Staring while we ate. Ugh. Yea I will definitely NOT be coming back. Just thinking of that nasty crawfish makes me gag a little. On the plus side, there’s tons of parking. The end.

Came here with a party of seven and it was great. Service: fantastic! The girls/one dude working were great. Attentive and friendly! The owner was nice too. She recommended a couple things and made sure that we were enjoying the food. Food: we ordered 2Ibs of shrimp with the Louisiana sauce, a Ib of crawfish, an order of garlic fries, their oc in coconut milk, garlic noodles, and the special the owner recommended. I was not impressed with the Louisiana sauce. It didn’t taste like anything. What I really loved were their oc dishes and the fries. The garlic fries were oh so crunchy and had a Cajun seasoning on them! The oc was sweet, chewy, with an essence of the sea! The sauces were flavorful but in no way overpowering. Ambience: I love the décor. Everything is blue and theres an ocean theme. There are TVs everywhere so you don’t have to worry about missing a game! ;) Overall, I would come back for the oc. The name should be reversed. Oc and crawfish because the crawfish really wasn’t spectacular LOL. I could see a lot of Vietnamese folks coming here for their oc cravings. Coming here for crawfish/shrimp? Maybe you should go to kickin crab or boiling crab. I was looking through the reviews and someone mentioned the uniforms. I feel it is incredibly degrading to have female employees dress in a tank top and shorts and the male employees can just wear casual clothes as long as it follows the color. That is perhaps, my biggest issue with this place. The fact that females have to dress differently and in skimpier clothing is just a big no no. Female employees should be able to wear anything they feel comfortable in as long as it matches the colors. JUSTLIKEMALEEMPLOYEES.

OVERALL2.5 TASTE3.5 STAFF2 WAIT5 AMBIENCE3 My family and I were in the area and planned on getting some crawfish so instead of going to our go to spot we opted to try out this brand new establishment. This place is huge and there were only a handful of customers, but is brand new only opened for one month. The staff was attentive and helpful bringing out a free set of delicious chips and salsa. We ordered a lot of food while we were there: 2lbs crawfish, 2lbs shrimp, grilled scallops, grilled calamari and 1lb of mussles. Food was pretty good, a solid establishment to get a seafood fix. But honestly I am confused on how to feel about this place, the food was relatively goof but there are certain things that would deter me from finding myself coming back to this restaurant. 1)Uniform: Personally I don’t enjoy going to restaurants where women are showing their cleavage and wearing booty shorts. Don’t get me wrong the girls there were great, pretty girls but its just a personal preference for me. I’m okay with shorts and a regular t-shirt like similar establishments allow female employees to wear(Boiling Crab). 2) Pricing&Organization: These were two huge issues, shrimp for 12.99 per lb thats kind of insane. Never have I seen that price at this style of restaurant. Some menus listed it at 10.99 and others at 12.99 so obviously there is some organizational issues here. This was incredibly apparent when we asked the waitress for the market value of the crawfish and she explicitly told us 10.99. So after hearing that we ordered two entire lbs only to find out that we were charged 14.99 per lb. This pricing was insane especially since my sister in law said that she could tell these were frozen(I trust her judgement completely on this because she is a connoisseur of craw daddies). Also they have two sauces for the seafood Louisiana and Garlic Butter so I asked if it was possible to mix the sauces like Boiling Crab, Kickin’ Crab etc. and the waitress said I could, however she did not mention to me that by doing so it would cost an extra $ 2. Honestly I did not see that on the menu, but I would have thought that it would have made sense to inform me of such a large price increase to mix two of the already made sauces together. I HAVENOIDEAHOWTHISPLACEISMARKEDATUNDER10DOLLARSPERPERSON, THATISNOTTRUEATALL. 4)Execution: Cooking wise there were some dilemmas. When asking for a potato in the mussels they were well under cooked leaving them with a barely cooked potato that was mostly raw, which cost extra. Also the lb of mussels only had about 8 – 9 per pound. As well as in the sauces there are usually chunks of garlic in them which are my favorite to scoop out and eat with the shrimp I ordered with rice. Usually they are soft and sweet absorbing the flavor from the broth but they were nothing like this at all. Every chunk of garlic was completely raw and spicy. 4) Customer Service: When we attempted to discuss the issue of the extra 4 dollars for mixing sauces and the extra 10 for the two lbs of crawfish the woman we talked to, I am assuming was the manager was difficult. I understand they are new but her waitress misinformed us on pricing but she did not even immediately ask to see if the girl had made a mistake. Finally after calling the girl over she admitted to the pricing she told us, which proved that we were told something incorrect. Although its only a few dollars over the intended amount we had spent a lot of money eating here and were not treated with respect as the customer. What really irritated my family was the claim that the pricing was just even though we were told different as well as the freshness of the crawdads were questionable. I honestly wanted to like this place but they need to work out some staffing and cooking issues, its only been open for a little while but the way they handled the issues left a bad impression. Hopefully these are just growing pains, we have no intention to come back.

I live nearby so naturally when I saw a new crawfish restaurant in my neighborhood I had to try it. I ordered two pounds of crawfish. They had two favors Louisiana and garlic butter so I opted for one of each and a side order of garlic noodles. The reason for the two stars is first off when I called in my Togo order the person answering the phone just said«hello» I had to ask if this is Crawfish & oc. For a business they should have a more professional greeting. As for the service they said my order would be ready in 20 minutes so I gave them a few extra minutes and arrived about a half hour later. When I got there they weren’t sure what I had ordered and the lady said it’ll be another 10 minutes. Okay no problem they had a big table they were serving. Now here’s a review of the food. First off two pounds of crawfish, two corns and four sausages plus a side order of garlic noodles came out to $ 48.35. That’s $ 14.99 a pound of crawfish and $ 9.99 for garlic rice noodles. The sauce for the crawfish was very good they have a unique flavor but it’s not worth $ 14.99 especially for crawfish that’s not from Louisiana. I’m not sure which species of crawfish but I believe it’s from Sacramento. These crawfish have sharper tails and are harder to eat hence they’re a lot cheaper then Louisiana. I’ll include a picture of the crawfish for you guys that really want to know the exact species. Yet they charge more per pound then the good Louisiana crawfish. I rather eat the Louisiana for $ 10.99/lb at most other places. Overall I probably won’t be back to eat here but most likely at their prices they won’t survive. I hope you guys fix a few things and stay around because your flavor is on point

Had an intuition this place would be good. Went and checked it out, and so glad I did! Amazing food with distinct balance favors: — crawfish — amazingly full of bodied drowned in a light addictive Cajun seasoning sauce with a kick of kaffir lime leaves that totally brought so much depth and umami to the whole dish. Totally a new direction away from usual heavy sauce that normally serves at other crawfish restaurants. Kudos to Crawfish & Oc Restaurant for taking the risk, totally paid off ! Wow!!! — Razor clams grilled and drizzled with scallion oil and fried shallots and House Special Green Dipping Sauce — this is definitely one of their signature dish ! Very well-balance season with the added crunchy texture of the fried shallots… and The House Special Green Dipping Sauce brought the dish to another dimension ! This is the reason why I love trying out new food as it inspired me to be the best cook as I can, learning new dishes excited me to the MAX !!! Bay Scallop Sashimi — one can never go wrong with scallop sashimi. It’s one of the best way to eat scallop, my preference is always sashimi as you can taste the whole sweetness of scallop. Umm! Escargot(snail) with garlic butter — it was good but I like it even more when dipping into the House Special Green Dipping Sauce. This sauce is kick ass as it goes well with all the dishes !

This place is officially my new favorite spot! They have a good selection from your basic crawfish joint, crawfish, shrimp, etc, but the best part is that they have Oc. If you’re Vietnamese you are always on a quest to find the place that makes the best oc, second to Vietnam of course but better than buying a plane ticket there. Each table has chips and their house made salsa which is the best thing ever!!! I literally ask for two servings and finish it before my food comes out. For the Cajun seafood, I personally love the crawfish here! The sauce that they put it in is not too salty with a hint of sweetness so it caters to me really well! I personally don’t love the bunch of salt and seasoning at the bottom of the boiling crab so it was nice that this spots sauce is a bit lighter so you don’t have to feel guilty loading up carbs. For the more Vietnamese side of the menu that has Oc, I tried about 6 different types here and all of them tasted fresh and most importantly, clean. It’s nice how there’s different types of Oc but it’s nice that there’s different choices on flavor and how you can have it cooked. All of the flavors I tasted were super flavorful. There’s also this green sauce that I thought only vietnam had but I guess the owner recreated it. It’s like salt&pepper with lemon but with a hint of sweetness that pairs amazingly with blue crab or the thicker oc. Lastly, the service is pretty awesome. They have plenty of workers so you’re always being helped whether it’s water refills, or more napkins. They were so attentive that by the end of my visit, I had 6 inches worth of napkins… Me and my boyfriend even returned it to them so they wouldn’t waste it. But all the girls and the few guys are very sweet. I’ve visited this place twice this week alone! Must try if you’re a fan of seafood :)

Great new place in Alum Rock. Food was delicious and service was terrific. My family was very pleased. Their menu was very cool– a pleasant surprise. We had rice, 3 pounds of shrimp with Garlic butter sauce, oysters, and garlic noodle. We asked for mild sauce, but it was more spicy than we expected. We will definitely be back.

They have very fresh and flavorful crawfish everyday. Awesome service and a clean environment. Also 15% off in the first 2 weeks very helpful when you give them feedbacks. The boss lady was very nice to us. She keeps asking us if the food was good. We ordered the louisiana crawfish, medium and it was perfect.
