The Courtyard Café has now gone into the past… but… Do not dismay… Because you can still find many of their same attractions in the same location under another name!
If you’re looking for women who are wearing very high heels… And very short shorts in the middle of winter… This is the place you can go… The sign outside now says Vogue café …
Back in the day… When the Courtyard Café was owned by another person… It was a rocking place in Vietnam town over here in The east San Jose area… They have always had good food… The price of their beer is reasonable so I hear… You can do video gaming via video game machine there…
So long Courtyard Café… It was a good ride while it lasted…

I went to this café with 7 other friends on Saturday afternoon on my birthday and I would definitely say I wasn’t 100% satisfied with it because yes the girls are pretty and cute but they don’t seems nice or interactive. Yes, they do fill the tea whenever its needed but a little smile would get 5 stars for sure. Girls are just standing behind the counter most of the time.
Pro
— they got great audio speakers
— some girls are pretty and you know…
— pretty good drink for 5 dollars
— got good food there.
Cons
— waiteress girls need act a little more welcoming (admit it, I am paying to get drinks, NOT FOR FREE)
— They cover a whole store up looks like something bad is happening inside if you look from outside but nothing really bad is happening. (I am NOT a pervert, a little simple smile for customers would make any customer enjoy it).
But, may be the time I went wasn’t the right time for this place but I would come back again if I am around the area.

The women here are really pretty…

This place has the «bomb» food!!! The waitresses here are the prettiest and nicest in the business. Would come here everyday if I could!!! Plenty of tvs to see all the action on sports too.

The place was very nice. There were a lot of TV’s for people to enjoy different genres of television. There is an outside area, where I hung out with my friends. I thought it was very nice to have that amenity. The karaōke system was also good. I’d like to say that the waitresses were very nice and friendly, super approachable. The food was very good. I’d recommend it to hang out with old/​new friends. It’s a nice environment to be around.

— Smoking like chimney inside without any venting fans!
Overall, I would come here for the girls and karaōke.

Large place with indoor /​outdoor sitting. Smoking allowed inside. Plenty of large screen TVs and good coffee. Low marks for loud music and average looking servers. Servers are not friendly and have attitude. O’and grumpy skinny daytime cashier that dreams about being all that.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon during a football game. This place was packed! (hint: it was hard to find parking inside the plaza)
The BEST: The HUGE TV they have on the wall. Surrounding that TV, there are other TVs, and even more on other walls!
Courtyard Café has around 30 tables and a patio; it serves food, beer, coffee, and smoothies.
I ordered a smashed avocado drink and it was above standard, because it had nice chunks of avocado. It is not like other places where the avocado is almost completely crushed.
The waitresses were ok. They got a bit worse after the following shift rotation. Overall, they dressed sexy but not showing too much, which is fine to me. I went to watch the game… :)

One of the coffeeshop in San Jose that allow customer to sing inside while enjoying there drinks. Its a coffeeshop/​Bar so you can order food n beer, which is a plus.

Great place. Lots of tvs. The karaōke is okay if the singer isn’t horrible.

Not my idea of «sexy coffee». The girls were just average and didn’t really have on anything to censor. My mocha boba was nasty and super sweet. I didn’t like the fact that they allow people to smoke inside. I thought that’s illegal?
What i did like was the fact that there was plenty of plasma TVs although most of them streamed the karaōke videos that was ALL in VN. Trust me, there aren’t any American Idols at this place. By that I mean no Americans and no great crooners. Also the waitress was really attentive and kept refilling our yellow water that only sharks can detect any essense of tea flavor. For that I give them the 3 stars, but let’s be real. I didn’t come here for the karoake or the drinks. I wanna see hot scantily clad babes in Lucite heels. Tonight i was disappointed, but I came for the company.

What I like about this place is that there are 2 separate rooms. If you can’t stand the loudness of the karoake, then you can migrate to the very next room which is semi-​outdoors. The girls are dressed very sexy but not too skimpy compared to the other coffee shop houses. Appetizers are OK, again a hit & miss depending on what you are ordering. The service can be improved since I think the girls are not used to servicing quan nhau style here. Ice & beer is empty more than it’s filled.
Ideal place to play your video games, get your coffee fix & watch your cable shows.

I haven’t been to coffee shops since my teen years. Started going again because a friend wanted to check out some of the joints in the area. We came to Courtyard to meet a friend’s friend. My first impression walking in was, «wow, this place is CLEAN!» Rare to see something like this. The coffee was made on point. Most other joints i’ve been to recently and/​or in the past make the coffee to dense, over sweetened or too bitter. Depending on the day you go too, you’ll have nice visual candy. The waitresses are all very nice and friendly. Good place to chill, watch a game, play some chinese chess with a friend or kill time until your next endeavor.

A fairly new Vietnamese coffee shop. My buddy tells me it’s been open a month or two. They have maybe a dozen flat screens including one that’s 60″+. They also serve food but I didn’t get a chance to try anything. There’s a large courtyard in the back with plenty of seating. There’s even a water fountain back there. There were three girls working on a Sat. night. No thongs here but the girls were dressed sexy. The ice tea actually tasted like ice tea and wasn’t watered down like some places and the girls were attentive with the refills.
