Color Run – San Jose

Great event for a good cause. The event was well organized, fun, and best of all benefiting a good cause. will be back next year

Talk about a party at 10am… yes, this would be the color run!
After finally being able to run 3 miles without passing out I decided to start participating in «fun runs.»
The Color Run is a benefit for the Diabetes Association. First I have to say that picking up the bibs and packets was tons of fun. They had us go to the Sports Authority in Santa Clara, they had the big truck parked outside and music playing. Quick and easy to pick up. In the packet was a shirt, 3 – 4 tattoos, and a color powder packet (that you use at the end of the race.)
The morning of the race everything was marked and plenty of parking. They definitely pump you up for the race. They gave away fanny packs, shirts, and other stuff. The course was clearly marked, there was 5 or 6 color stations throughout the course, and they had people cheering us on.
Oh, the best part of this run was the end or what I call the after party. With the color packets they gave us we were supposed to join everyone else and every 10 minutes open the packet and throw the powder… oh boy talk about an amazing rainbow and fun music. This was the best part of it all.
This run was super organized, fun, and energetic!
