Love Clinique product but at this macys, they are rude. I found that they were not very helpful and did not make me feel comfortable what so ever. I was tempted to walk away instead of buying the makeup I came to buy. Then the preceded to tell me if I spent 100 $ I could get a free full sized face wash. When I was rung up, apparently the deal ended the day before. The sales person was ignorant as to the deals Clinique was offering. I will not be returning to this Clinique

I don’t give reviews but I would like to do one for Clinique Macy’s in Valley Fair. Well, I am a big fan of Clinique lipstick and I’ve been using it for more than 10 yrs. The product is great but the customer service is not. To begin with, I was trying some of the lipstick when one of the SA approached me. She was helpful in the beginning then she started talking about their free gift and the Thanks for Sharing. She said if I purchase a 36 dollar worth of items I could get a free gift but then I could pick up the gift after a week and if I sign up for Thanks for Sharing, I could help the cancer research etc. then the 25 dollar fee for signing up will be given back to me as a coupon and I could use it the same day. I am fine with picking up the free gift after a week and I am fine with signing up for Thanks for Sharing as long as I could use the coupon right away knowing that she told me I could so I did buy a 36 dollar worth lipsticks and signed up for TFS as well for 25 dollars. To my surprise, after paying I could not take the lipsticks with me. I have to wait for one week and could only take it along with the gift. And when she printed the coupon, there are too many restrictions plus I have to spend 100 dollars in order to use it. So I asked for the cancellation of all the transactions I made but she acted as if it was all my fault and that I am giving her a difficult time when in fact the information she gave me was very misleading. I was thinking she must be new because she asked help from the other sales associates so they tried to help her but then the two other SA seemed to be too busy and not eager to help and interrogated me as to why? why? why? are you cancelling this… not helpful, not friendly at all. Then it was taking so long at the counter only to be told I could not cancel TFS. Well, I told her forget about TFS and left the counter. I was tallking to myself that I wanted to buy shoes anyways, so I tried to use the coupon but then it was not valid until the next day. I was about to return to Clinique counter again and demand no matter what for my TFS refund but then the guy at the shoe section was able to give me a 25 dollar coupon as my shoe discount. So overall, I like Clinique lipstick but will NEVER shop again at Clinique Macy’s Valley Fair in Stevens Creek.

I went in here one day, looking to change from the products I’ve been using. Great service. I will say that I think I got lucky. I watched some of the other sales people while I was there, and was thinking they didn’t seem too friendly. The products seem good so far. I was happy with the overall experience. She took plenty of time to figure out my needs, and helped me pick some things that would fit the bill. Best part… not all pushy on sales, like some people I’ve encountered in the past. She seemed happy to show me products, and wasn’t assuming I would buy everything I saw. Soooo appreciate that approach. I’ll be back for sure.

I LOVE Clinique. I’ve been an avid Clinique user ever since middle school! Crazy huh… Well anyway… This review isn’t for the brand itself but the customer service of one of the SA’s here. I returned a 38 dollar face moisturizer that I purchased 2 weeks ago and literally used it 2 times. I got sun-burned from my vacation in Catalina and was peeling and also dry. I decided to purchase the Moisture Surge extended thirst relief cream(WHAT A NAMEFOR A FACECREAM. Right??) Well anyway… The type of person I am… If I don’t like an item or product and I’m able to return. I’m gonna return it! The cream made my skin extra oily instead of comfortably giving it moisture. I decided to return it and it had a CRL sticker… The typical sticker that most high end department stores place on tags for proof of purchase. This skinny Dark-haired Asian gal who works at the counter approaches me and begins to question my purchase. As I explained to her the reason for my return, I also mentioned to her I would like the refund to be put on a gift card. As a side note… This is the number one reason why I DON’T like shopping at Macy’s. I WILLNEVER ever have this problem at a Nordstrom ever. Instead of making a smooth Return. She begins to ask me «why» this and«why» that. For a freakin 38 dollar item. I’m thinking. This can just be really quick lady. I’ve never had any sort of interrogation with other SA’s in the same department at a different counter. I’m watching her as she proceeds to open the product… Smell it like a dog… Sniff the sh*t out of it. SMH… Then she asks for the card I made the purchase with. For the love of God… I think I might of paid cash… But gave her my bank card so she can just STFU and just finish up the whole transaction. After all that, she decides to give the refund back on a gift card anyway. SIGH**** my return was $ 40.33 and it was a hassle. 5 stars for the Clinique brand itself but 2 stars for this sales associate.
