Came here around 9:30pm not to many people waiting and it’s now 9:54 and only got my drink still waiting for my food I’ve seen at least 4 people already get their food and drinks already. I went up to employee and asked what’s going why is everyone else getting their food and drinks before me. I think they lost either my receipt or ticket and they said they would be making it. Not a good first experience trying this place it’s now 10:00pm and I finally got my food and no apologies from the staff just«your food will be right out» not good customer service

I came in for the first time on a whim, I ordered two drinks, and I left happy. The place was roomy and comfortable. There were about ten people inside chit-chatting and enjoying themselves. I ordered the very Berry upon reccomendation of the nice cashier, and it was delish. My brother had the honey dew milk tea, which was also not bad. Both drinks came out fast. I’d come again if I we’re feeling something fruity and refreshing on a warm day.

Came here & ordered a bobo special w regular pearls, the lady that took my order asked me what I wanted while she took a sip of her drink… You couldn’t wait til after you took my order? But she didn’t confirm my order w me either to make sure it was correct. So my drink came out and I saw pink pearls at the bottom & thought that they just had different colors for their pearls. I took a sip & it turned out to be the bursting bobas, I told the guy & he took it to the back. I assumed he would replace the bursting bobas w the regular pearls but nope! He just added the regular pearls. I asked him if he could take them out n throw it away for me but he said«no sorry they’re already in there». Seriously? I did not pay $ 5 to get a drink that was not what I ordered!!!

The tea is not bad but the time is crazy. It took 30 mins to get a milk tea. Amazing…

After driving through the construction of Story Rd. looking for another tea spot, my friend and I decided to stop by BoBo for a drink before the trek back to Benicia. At first, I was turned off by the meh reviews, but it was really busy being a hot Saturday afternoon! That’s a good sign, right? We ordered the Hazelnut milk tea and Mango milk tea with boba. The drinks are standard prices($ 3.95 for a large iced milk tea and add-ons for $.50), but I was surprised with the quality! The hazelnut milk tea had creamy, nutty notes to add to the strong black tea flavor I love so much. As for the mango milk tea, I could definitely taste mango, but not in the best way. You know that over-ripe, near-spoiled fruit flavor? Sums up that drink. However, the pearls were chewy and near perfect. BoBo also has special tea drinks served in glass jars which is a really cute touch. There is also an extensive snack list to check out. Overall the drinks are pretty good and it’s definitely worth a try!

Service is meh, there’s not much to say. You can tell they made an effort with the interior but it’s not exactly maintained. Personally I’d rather sit outside(given the choice) because it gets a little bit rowdy and I find the smell of grease(esp. mixed with the heat) suffocating.(FYI today’s high was 84°) I used to come here for the price tag of their popcorn chicken. Now I only get their happy heart jar. I chug this drink down in the same time it takes a Tesla model S to reach 60mph.(Approx. 4 seconds) It’s not really tea but whatever it is, it’s laced with crack. If you’re getting this to-go, consider asking for less ice, the fruit bits are pretty hard to reach when Mt. Shasta is in the way. Oh and there’s a $ 0.50 charge if you pay with card on orders less than $ 8.

I ordered the Very Berry and it was wayyyy too sweet and it tasted as if their was too much flavored syrup in it so I had to water it down. I enjoyed the basil seeds though! I don’t usually have that in the drinks I order. Also, I give a thumbs up for presentation of the drink but still, I wish the drink had more of the tea flavor. I love that they play music videos here and even some covers. I found an artist through their music videos here who is amazing so thanks for that! Aha

I thought the poor Unilocal rating was a fluke. Well, I guess not. You walk in and it smells like you walked into a deep fryer. The oil smell is super strong and not in a good way. My friend made a order and afterwards realized that Unilocal check in would offer 10% off. She went up and asked and they said«no» it not true.(She place 2 separate orders. Since she already place her first order I understand why you would let her use Unilocal discount, but the second time was after she asked about it…) My friend order twice and both times was the salt and pepper squid. I was good, but overall service and cleanliness was just poor.

This place is super unique and better than other boba places. They serve actual meals, special drinks, snacks(in love with their beignets with nutella on the side). But I don’t usually like their regular black milk tea with tapioca(which is what I get at each and every boba shop) but I gave it another try this time around. This time I found some kind of fruit or something oddly edible(I hope) after taking a sip. Come on, majority of the people HATE finding surprises in their drinks/food. I think we would all appreciate it if they were a lot more careful in mixing different things or not catching things falling in to other foods they’re serving! OHANDONEMORETHING!!! The«10% student discount» apparently does not exist at «this» location. I asked to redeem this, and the guy told me they don’t do any discounts/take coupons and such, but the other Bobo’s does. He also said that he doesn’t know why people don’t check on the address of which Bobo’s offers that discount. UM it clearly was and still is on their Unilocal page(Story Rd).

Came here after dinner with the gf since we both wanted something sweet after. They close pretty late at 12am which was great because everywhere else closed around 11. They serve different types of drinks here like smoothies, milk tea and green or black tea drinks. They also serve food but did not order any. Once we arrived there were not many people inside and were able to order right away. The place is pretty spacious and has a lot of seats. When we got there they seem to play a lot of edm music which to be honest not a fan of. What I ordered was the passion fruit green tea with boba and my gf ordered the lychee green tea with boba. It took about 10 minutes to make which was fine. My drink the passion fruit green tea was very sweet and to be honest I did not like it at all. I was only able to drink at most a quarter of it before I threw it away. My girlfriend said her drink was fine but did not love it. To be honest, This was prob the first time I never finished my drink. I will most likely not come back.

I come here for one thing only — beignets. Their tea is very mediocre. Wouldn’t buy it again. But their beignets are my holy grail. They come in sets of 3, 6, and 12. Whenever I buy a set, Bobo ALWAYS gives me more. Extra and delicious beignets for free? Awesome! What isn’t so awesome — the customer service. For example, one time I made an order over the phone, but when I got there, they had no idea what I was talking about. The lady said she forgot to write it down. Service may be annoying, but the beignets are definitely worth it.

I’ve completely forgotten about how often I used to go to BoBo. I literally used to drag my coworkers here every other day after work because they served food, snacks, carried assorted teas and Vietnamese dessert drinks. I stopped coming after receiving my food with the finger tip section of a glove in it. Followed by some rude service, witnessing the staff openly rub his nose while carrying food, and having my remade plate have hair in it. Pretty disturbing, right? Well, all is hidden in my memory thanks to this new experience! I swung by for some beignets and milk tea for my brother. I ended up getting the chicken, calamari, taro milk tea, cookie crumble shake, and 10pc beignets. The taro milk tea he said tasted like flavored water with boba which made him disappointed. The chicken and calamari orders were about $ 4.50 each and were rather small in portion. I was forewarned by this adorable cashier guy! He was so cheery it was fantastic. Extremely honest, too! I love this trait in people especially when I’m asking what to expect from my orders! My orders, although ordered togo, were brought to me while I was waiting with wait estimates.

Drinks wise, it’s okay… Not bad, not something I crave for. Atmosphere wise, it’s a good and spacious place to hangout/chill. I only come here when I have a big group that’s looking for something to drink and just hangout. They open till really late so this is my go-to place when I’ve had dinner and still wanting a small dessert and just hangout. Their menu has improved. I think they’re trying to get better at their drinks. It’s not extremely bad, but it’s just simple. The specialty drinks are just flavored tea with fruit toppings. That’s basically it. They’re real popular for their beignets though. I can’t seem to find them anywhere else so this is where to get em! Other than that, they serve a lot of other desserts as well. Overall, this place is a good place to go to with a large group for some decent drinks and dessert.

I’ve been giving this place a chance for a few times now and I still don’t care for it. To begin with, we walked in and the lady behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us at all. If anything, she gave us an unfriendly look. Seriously, a simple hello would’ve been nice… So anyway, Ive tried a couple other of their special teas and this time I ordered the mango madness. Ehhh, it was too sweet and lacked fruit in it. I really think the cool factor of the insta-friendly mason jars makes up for it for some people, but not for me. I couldn’t appreciate my drink since it was just saturated with sugar. Secondly, the taro smoothie sucked. The few boba were mushy and the smoothie itself was tasteless. They must’ve put all the sugar in the other drink instead of giving each one a fair share or something because this had zero taste. Ended up tossing it… it was that bad. The«beignets» were served fresh. Soft and doughy sure but it’s really more of a Chinese donut tbh. Obviously, I’ll be going somewhere else for my boba or tea fix since there are tons of options in this area anyway. Should’ve just gone with the majority vote of this place. Two and a half stars, duh… What did I really expect?

Open until midnight, this location is useful when every other coffee and tea place has closed. We came here after stopping at Bambu, being told that they were not offering coffee at 15 minutes before closing. This shop has a big menu, shown on video monitors, rather high up. My buddies ordered a strawberry smoothie and a coffee bubble tea – with the tapioca pearls. I ordered a hot white mocha coffee. The only problem with ordering was that the videos were so loud, we all had trouble hearing the person behind the counter. I went to the restroom, which was fairly clean, but had no paper towels or a dryer. Returning, my buddies had gone outside to smoke, and my coffee had arrived. Even with the doors open, it was rather hot, thankfully. As their drinks arrived, we all sat at a couple of(the small square) tables. It’s a very modern look but it doesn’t seem as good in real life use. The drinks were all enjoyable – 8 of 10, as they said. If the videos weren’t near full volume, the experience would have been more enjoyable.

If you’re a Sprint user, this general area has the WORST signal I’ve ever experienced. As bad as the signal in my underground garage parking. Anyway, I would say that this boba shop was average. I came here with a friend at around 10pm and thankfully it was open! We went inside and I thought the décor of this place was beautiful. What kind of bothered me was that it was a little bit toasty and I read from other reviews that they didn’t have AC but rather a giant electric fan. I ordered my usual mango green tea and I thought it was average as well. There was nothing special about it. It took a while for my drink to get colder though. If you’re a student, you can get a 10% discount here! Just bring your ID.

The first time I came here was with Tiffany T., we had just bun bo hue across the street and decided boba would be refreshing on this hot summer day. We were deciding between The Sweet Corner or Bobo. I have been to TSC, and we decided to try Bobo over it since we both have never had it before. Place is pretty spacious. There are plenty of tables, but there was no one there except for us and two other people. There was no music playing so it just felt like it was dead to me. Moving onto drinks. Tiffany ordered a Thai milk tea and I got a passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. $ 8 card minimum so luckily we had cash on hand. Drinks took quite awhile to come out, which was strange since no one ordered before us and no one came in after us. Second time I came here with Timothy L. I got the same drink but this time with rainbow jelly and he got the oolong sea salt drink. My drink was way too sweet, it just tasted like fruit juice and no tea flavor at all. I could not even taste the passion fruit… Timothy’s was bitter and the boba was bland. I understand that it was on a weekend but service was super slow even if there was no one before our order. Maybe they should have more employees working instead of just one person. Almost 15 minutes for drinks to come out. To top it off, there was no AC and it was super hot and stuffy in there. Will not come back. Service and drinks sucked.
