If I could give negative stars, that would be a more accurate evaluation of this company. I am on the board of an HOA that hired ASAP and I can advise you that if you are considering using them, run away quickly. They did nothing on several delinquent accounts except bill us for waiting. When we got fed up with their lack of results, they charged us ridiculous fees to close accounts and threatened legal action. By contrast, the company who replaced them got immediate results on many of the accounts. Others were so old due to ASAP’s inaction that they were uncollectable. Do yourself a favor and avoid any contact with them.

This place deserves ZERO or lesser ratings. IFYOUARETHINKINGOFUSINGTHEM, BETTERRUNASTHEIRILLEGALTACTICSCOULDGETYOUINTOBIGTROUBLEWITHTHELAW. They use oppressive, malicious, and outright illegal tactics to attempt to collect debts on behalf of HOAs. And HOA’s don’t know better(or care) when sending their homeowner’s debts to them because the contract between the HOA and ASAP is a No Fees, No costs; program where HOA pays ASAP no money/fees upfront and ASAP charges the Homeowner those fees instead. Since not much California courts have interpreted the definition of «reasonable» collection costs, ASAP takes advantage of a poorly worded California civil code to extort huge collections fees from poor Homeowners which are often times way more than the delinquent debt which is being collected. And what HOAs don’t know is that in their contract with ASAP, HOA’s indemnifies ASAP and hold them harmless, no matter what ASAP does with a delinquent Home, even if it is illegal — which they do. The people of California should rise up against such bullying and send this business packing!
