This review is for DR. Robert T. Torrano who I saw today. Hands down, best doctor I’ve ever seen. Not only very nice, down to earth and funny but for the most, HONEST and SINCERE with his recommendations.
I came to test myself for food allergies, after interview with Dr. Torrano, he told me that he did’t think I was allergic to anything but he left me the choice to decide if I wanted to be tested or not. He told me that it was good to get the answers to the questions we have but at the same time he didn’t like spending people’s money. This is the kind of honesty I rarely see at the doctors offices. He was very honest with his findings and gave me the choice to pursue with testing or not. He also recommended that I see gastric specialist and do other testing.
I did test myself and sure enough, Dr. Torrano was 100% right… I have no allergies :)
If I ever need allergy specialist again for sure I’ll see him. Highly recommended, super nice doctor.
When it comes to the clinic itself, staff was very nice and friendly, person who was performing testing was very professional and super nice. I would go to that place again if had to :)

My first experience at this office and with Dr. Torrano was excellent. Although it was a busy office, the scheduling was handled well and I was seen on time. Dr. Torrano was very methodical in his approach and took the time to understand my allergies and provided a logical and well reasoned plan of treatment.

Dr. Biedermann came highly recommended by my doctor as well as others who have been patients there.
I did the allergy shots for 6 months and noticed a HUGE improvement. Due to a shift in medical coverage I did not continue the allergy shots. Everyone there is professional and knows all about allergy/​asthma.
It’s a very busy office so keeping your appointment is important!

I went to the Allergy & Asthma Associates of Northern California in early May of 2011. The experience was quite pleasant, the doctors were very nice and I was out of there in under 3 hours after being tested for allergies using the typical «skin prick» test. However, this last week I received a statement from Anthem, my insurance, informing me that the test cost $ 2,280 of which they would only cover $ 568. Therefore, I am expected to pay $ 1,711 out of pocket for this test. When looking online, most websites I have found suggest the test should cost somewhere between $ 60 and $ 300. I was never told up front what they charge for this test and did not think twice given it’s inherent low tech nature, it never occurred to me how it could cost this much. I think it’s shameful for Allergy & Asthma Associates to charge this much for an allergy test, particularly when no prior warning is given to the patient.
