I have to say this bar is awesome. If your a Star Wars fan this is the place to be… They have a drink menu dedicated to Star Wars. The drinks are inexpensive & the bar menu is pretty good. The bartenders are extremely nice. Karaōke on Friday & Saturday’s. It’s in between a dive & regular bar.

I love 7Stars Bar & Grill. It’s divey enough to classify as a dive bar, and clean enough to make you want to bring people there and eat. The menu has the usual bar food of chicken wings and burgers, which are all pretty decent. The atmosphere is VERY accepting and very laid back. I can play board games, do work, play pool, etc. no judgment or anything from anyone. The obvious Star Wars theme is obviously a huge plus. In addition to all this the place is self owned and the owners are super friendly and nice. 7Stars also boasts a nice rotating tap list and a full bar. The lost of positive comments goes on. I have two negative comments though: Service can be a little slow sometimes. And the bar closes at midnight(which makes sense given the location.)

I read a Mercury News article about this«Star Wars bar» and decided to come check it out. I think our first mistake was to go on a Saturday, maybe I would have enjoyed it better w/o the DJ and karaōke… We snagged a table, which had menus but wasn’t sure if someone was going to take our orders or not(I now see on Unilocal there is no waiter service). Made our way over to the bar and there was an «order here» sign so we kinda just stood there for awhile with no one really acknowledging us. I asked one of the ladies behind the bar if we could order here. She said she was only a bar back, so she could take my food order but not my drink order. I ordered the potato skins(super thick, it was like half a potato!) and then we had to wait slightly to the left at the actual bar and wait for the bartender. There were only 2 bartenders for a pretty crowded bar. Decided to order 2 drinks instead of dealing with the wait again. Seemed like other patrons were equally confused with the ordering process as well. They had a Star Wars themed cocktails but was pretty disappointed with them mostly being vodka based cocktails. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at the«stormtrooper cocktail» which was«your choice whiskey with ginger beer» okay, so it’s just a whiskey ginger. I opted for the Darth Maul and the Blue Milk, both which were terribly sweet. As for the décor, it was dark I’m assuming for the DJ and karaōke night. From what we could see, it seemed like a random hodgepodge of Star Wars posters and cutouts and a Jabba the Hut… figure in the corner. There were Star Wars figurines in their boxes affixed throughout the border of the place and some helmets atop the glasses at the bar. It was all pretty random and… that’s all I’ve got to say about that. I’m not sure what I was expecting, part of me is curious to see what the bar actually looks like with the lights on, but since I wasn’t a fan of the drinks I think I’ll just wait for some Unilocalers to post more pictures…

Hands Down, one of my favorite Bars in SJ. I’ve been frequenting since about the first year it was opened. I’m a Star Wars fan for sure! So walking in the first time, it already felt like Home… The Owners are 2 very sweet and considerate people, who do their best to grow the business in the best ways possible. Always trying to do more to satisfy the customers as well as maintain a successful Bar. The prices are fair & the food is great! I appreciate that it is a Safe Zone for ALL walks of life, so you can feel comfortable no matter what you like! Only thing, is I’m not into is Karaōke, that happens a few times a week… But that’s just Me… Everything else is rad! Pool Tables, few Games, Photobooth, and always playing rad movies on the TVs.

Regulars then are judgemental and the«bouncer» was joining in on the teasing but I do love the star wars theme being that I am a fanatic the service was great but beware of «regulars» they are mean if you don’t fit their criteria they will make fun of you &

This bar is the cleanest bars I have been to! Also very fun and cool place! I surprised my hubby who loves Star Wars with a date night here after getting an email from Unilocal telling me about it. It was an Über night that’s for sure! As we walked in my hubby was very impressed and excited to check out all the pics, items, and everything Star Wars. The Darth Vader drinks were off the hook! They were purple and will kick your butt after 2! Went on Friday night and they had Karaōke with lots of people who actually sounded good. I sang and danced with my hubby and friends. We will be back thats for sure! Note we did not eat here BUT the burgers actually looked good and big! Keep up the awesome clean place!

So, I come here pretty regularly for Trivia with my beer group for a few months now on Mondays. The trivia is fun, the food tasty, and the beers rotate out frequently enough, and are a good mix of a few staples(usually Lagunitas IPA, Blue Moon, PBR), and rotations(seen some from Drakes, Stone, Strike here in SJ, New Belgium, Strauss, Russian River [spec. Pliny the Elder], etc), and they keep their beer offerings pretty up to date on beermenus. And the mixed drinks are made pretty well, and it’s fun ordering off the star wars drink menu, or if you have a special occasion, a custom drink list may be possible(seen a few themed birthday party drink lists). And the TVs. I mean, occasionally there is a sports game on or two, but most of the time, there is a Star Wars movie and/or cartoon, Marvel movie, cult classics, and a few others going, depending on which direction you want to turn your head. There are also other events every month or so, usually with an accompanying specialty drink menu. I’ve seen Harry Potter Trivia, Star Wars Trivia(recurring), Game of Thrones Trivia, Lord of the Rings Trivia, and I hear a Horror Movie Trivia night is in the works. No Star Trek Trivia yet though, huh, imagine that…(:-p). And the News Years Eve Party was EPIC! There is also karaōke on Fri and Sat I believe, but I haven’t been to that yet. It’s been fun getting to know the staff and owners.

I’m not local to San Jose. A friend took me because I’m a huge Star Wars fan like the owner. The place is a dive bar, but the inside is cool with Star Wars memorabilia. My Gf got a drink and I noticed a pinball machine. I went to use the change machine. Tried a few different bills multiple time, no luck. So my gf just got a drink so I asked for some quarters. Bar keep says use the machine, I’m like I tried. A few times and with different dollars, the barkeep than tells me rudely«why are you arguing with me». From then on I was livid, I’m from la, I’m used to rude people I sometimes am one. But to this guy I was stating that it did not work for me. As what could have been a good nite, I was annoyed the rest of my stay here. I gave this man none of my money. The bar is a cool concept, but customer service is key, even in a dive bar. I won’t be returning and wanted to share my frustration. Rude barkeeps, at least on my Sunday nite visit to an empty bar.

FREE live event trivia Monday nights at 8pm pst and dollar drink specials is a hoot and a half. Get the fries, pineapple upside down, lightsaber, grilled cheese, chicken strips, and the goat cheese burger. Matt the host with the most is a firm but fair ruler. He will be your best friend forever if you don’t cheat. Support this local business!

This bar has always been on my bookmarks because it’s the«Star Wars» bar! How cool is that?! ITISTHEOBIWANSTARWARSBAR! I definitely didn’t go Han Solo. Okay, I’ll stop. I finally had the chance to check this place out on a Saturday night with my best friend. It was pretty crowded. The atmosphere was pretty chill and people were nice. More like a dive bar. There are Star Wars things everywhere! Everywhere you look. Pretty neat stuff to look at. The bar has a private lot and street parking. It is pretty dark around the area and the bar itself is pretty dark outside and inside the bar. It’s pretty small. When you first walk in, the bar is to the right, pool tables to the left, a few tables in the center, a Photo Booth and arcade game in the way back and the dj and karaōke is in the way back to the left(next to Jabba). My best friend and I ordered the Lightsaber shooter and the Slave Leia. We don’t go drinking too much. I believe these are the sweetest drinks on the Star Wars Cocktails list. The lightsaber was pretty good. We thought that we should’ve tried it over ice instead though. The Slave Leia kind of tasted like a watered down cranberry juice. Overall, good experience. Would probably go again with some more people. I would probably try different drinks next time.

Five stars for a STARWARSBAR. Come on, people: it’s a STARWARSBAR! Hell, Jar Jar Binks was nowhere in sight, which makes this place even stronger with the force! Oh, and I’m giving extra force points for not having crappy music loud enough to inhibit my attempts at Jedi mind-tricking the Leia I invited. As for the booze, I had the Chewbacca, which is basically a whiskey sour — or as I like to call it: Jedi Lemonade. Ewok piss works too. Take your pick. Anyway, it was delicious. Look, padawan: I felt completely at home here. In fact, it resembles my room. But instead of Star Wars toys and memorabilia, mine is adorned with X-Men action figures, books, empty whiskey bottles and full whiskey bottles. But still, I felt right at home. Folks and nerds, there is no other place like this in the area. So take advantage of your privilege, goddammit! You know this to be true.

I love this bar! Two pool tables to play and even a bar-pool league for any level of skill. The owners are absolutely the best and great conversation. They have events all the times and you can even request to have your party there! The food is amazing, the cheesy jalapeño fries and the hangover burger are my fave! sometimes they even have grapefruit sculpin on tap which is obviously a plus. Star wars theme is cool but not overwhelming. Tons of memorabilia, Jabba the Hutt, dress up days, swag to buy. 10⁄10 would recommend. I’ve had friends come visit from out of town and I always bring them here! No complaints, not once not never.

I want to write a 5 star review every time I try something new on the menu . You guys are awesome, classic movies playing on the TV, it’s just so damn chill. It’s the perfect place to relax after work. Oh thank you for not shoving sports down my throat. You won’t find a bunch of meathead idiots here, just awesomeness.

I have always dreamed that someone would make the geek equivalent of a sports bar for people like me. This is it! Instead of jerseys or whatever on the walls, they have Star Wars toys and artwork and themed foosball /pinball. So obviously the theme is awesome, but the bar experience is great too! The owners and servers are super friendly, and the beer selection is legit. They have good crafts on tap, and frequently get Pliny.(P.S. Thank you for keeping your BeerMenus up to date!) Good food too. You wouldn’t expect a divey-type bar to make their own chili and potato skins from scratch, but they do. I also really love how supportive they are of equality. There is an LGBT«Safe Zone» logo displayed on their TVs and on their Facebook page, and they constantly reiterate that if you’re an intolerant asshole, you can GTFO. Everyone is welcome there. Also, regularly scheduled Star Wars Trivia Nights put on by the South Bay Star Wars Fan Club! So much fun.

This place is ok. Pros: easy, cheap food, chill atmosphere, always has Star Wars going, which is pretty fun. It’s a good place to go and play board games while having some beer and burgers. Staff is nice. Cons: it smells like a litter box inside, kitchen runs out of food or they are so understaffed that it is closed.

I think the notoriety of being a Star Wars bar is a little bit of a reach. It’s pretty divey as a bar and the food isn’t really spectacular but I guess it’s cool. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come. All the star wars memorabilia is kinda cool to look at but most of it is pretty tacky like that could be bought at party city. The bartender was alright. He wasn’t a jerk but wasn’t that cool. I understand this review isn’t very helpful but I don’t know if this is a good or bad place

I love this bar! I have brought many groups here for all sorts of occasions… Whiskey Tastings and Karaōke are usually my go to, although we are going there for Trivia next week. Marya is one of the owners and has made it super easy for me to bring a group there. She really makes the process easy & has a great attitude and service. They are a cool Star Wars themed bar, with lots of weekly activities, and a general good vibe. It’s a definite go to place for me.
