Went in for lunch today and found there is now a surcharge for credit card. The food and service was average, but I will move this egg down my priority list. Bad policy for credit card.

I love Good Egg! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about a year now, and it’s great every time! We always go on Saturday for breakfast or brunch, and we see the same crew. They know us by face and memorized our drink(and even our actual order now)! Service is always super fast, all the waitresses and servers are sweet and friendly, the food’s consistently great(lots of portions) and we’re always asked if everything’s all right or if we need anything. Love the homestyle atmosphere and even when it’s busy, the place is welcoming and not stuffy. Prices are fine compared to the portions served, even with the slight price hike made recently to a few of their menu items. Kudos to the staff!

We went on a sun and had a realy good breakfast we read that on thursday all you can eat tacos so we thought wow cool deal so we came back and ordered the tacos, so we get the tacos which were advertised as ground beef mind you there was not a speck of beef it was the most tasteless crap we choked down one and a half !!! Then we look towards the kitchen and they had containers from cardenas! Which we suspected the dry tasteless rice and the ok beans came from! So i would stick to breakfast!

So the food as delicious! The food was fresh so that was nice. I loved the pricing also. Though it was close to $ 10, it was worth it because the portion size was huge and the food-let me say it again, was delicious. But one thing that annoyed me a little was when there were some leftovers and we asked for a box. It took them 10 minutes to get it. But then again there were a lot people that came. Though they should should have a better service system worked out. So far I would get be this restaurant 4 stars. That’s not bad. It’s actually really good. Too bad it didn’t get 5 stars.

I very much enjoyed our breakfast here. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was interesting. Our service was not the best but we would certainly come back and give it an other try. Chicken Fried Steak and eggs were better than most restraints for the price. There were real mushrooms in the gravy and it tasted like it was hand battered. Not frozen.

We have gone to this restaurant many times,(my husband likes their beef and noodles). Some of the waitresses aren’t so accommodating. They only had 2 dessert selections. We asked for our dessert to go and was told«I will do that now, but we no longer allow customers to take out desserts». When I asked the waitress, she responded«we don’t do that anymore» and turned and walked away. We took our desserts in a container and don’t plan to go back again.

I’m glad some people gave good reviews because this will not be good. My boyfriend and I ate there for our very first time last night and it was nothing special. The server was sweet but she was also slow. I ordered the Friday special of fish and chips. I also ordered it with mash potatoes. I swear that plate was stuck in the oven for half an hour before the fish was Fried. The potatoes were rubbery and the food was bland. The fish was over fried and my boyfriend steak was overcooked and his hash browns were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Does anyone there know how to turn down a flame? Also this server was supposed to bring me bread and a choice of soup or salad with my meal. That never happened Also The meal came either bread that i never recieved. our drinks were never refilled. The steak was bland and a very cheap cut of meat. My boyfriend said the eggs were the only redeeming quality on the plate. Finally, I had to go and get a menu in order to make sure that I hadn’t ordered wrong as far as the Friday fish plate specisl went. I was told that my dinner did come with dessert after the server saw that I was sitting with a menu. I couldn’t get her attention it was hard to get her to bring anything to the table and when my boyfriend ask for ketchup she came back with a1 sauce. Anytime we ask for anything it took forever. Funny the ladies that were sitting in the table right across from us not 3 feet away, got great service and they were served their entire meal. Their drinks were refilled and for some reason we were treated like we weren’t even there. There was nothing special about the food it didn’t taste good. Just slop on a plate. Also, it was bland. The cook was horrible. The flames were way too high. Most our food was overcooked on the outside the fish was humiliated to a crisp and I didn’t eat even half of my meal. You think the server would have noticed. Once the server was notified and aware that she had not givin me half of my dinner there was no compensation except some slimy bland green jello she gave my boyfriend. I was offered rice pudding as my dessert and it was a cold hard lump of rice with a small trace of gook in it that may have been they’re poor excuse for pudding at one time. Even the whip cream wasn’t real it was oily. No Real butter in sight for bread or potatos. There’s no passion in this place. There’s no love in the food. Its all Cut corners and prefab slop. No taste at all. Everything was rushed, and thrown to the side before it ever got to, and did I mdntion, BLAND! We will definitely NOT be going back. We paid full price but we didn’t leave a tip. She didn’t earn it! Why are we supposed to pay full price when I wasn’t given half of my meal? Definitely not going back! I’ve been in food service for over 30 years and this place is just sad. Word to the wise. DON, T waste your money or your time. McDonalds has more flavor in their food and you’ll save money. Go there instead, and that’s saying a lot from someone who doesn’t eat at McDonalds

Food was amazing! My waitress was good even tho it was very busy. But some of the other employees didn’t look to thrilled to be there.

We went there today because it was suppose to be a great place to eat. WOW what a mistake. Did not start off well. Appears to be under staffed. A cook had to seat us. Then when they FINALLY took our order, told me they charge 89 cents for peanut butter for an English muffin which would require what about 1 tablespoon. It went DOWN hill from the start. Food not prepared correctly. Waitress asked on here way by if everything tasted good. Did not even pause for the answer. They charge an extra 50 cents to use a credit card. Nothing like crappy service, crappy food and then pass on the normal cost of doing business onto your valued(?) customers.

Went there today because I saw that this place had good reviews. The server was friendly but it took a while to get our drinks served. I ordered the country fried steak, it was okay. My husband ordered the porterhouse, he told them to cook it medium and it came out over cooked. The steak was a big disappointment because it wasn’t cooked right and it lacked in flavor. We also ordered chicken noodle soup which tasted good but I noticed it had hair in it, gross! I don’t think we will end up going back.

When I am out in an area I am not familiar with, I depend on Unilocal to find a good place to eat. What caught my eye with this location was the Stuffed French which by the way was excellent! Also got the California omelette which also also excellent! My sister and I slit the two meals and was more than enough food. Our waitress was very good. Unfortunately they don’t wear name tags, so I don’t remember her name. If I am ever in this area again, I would defiantly come back.

Another great trip, we hadn’t been in awhile and it was definitely long over due. Actually tried something new, instead of my usuals. The California Cheese Omelette with green chilies, jack cheese and topped with avocado. Super duper yummy. Hubby got the Rib eye steak and eggs, he cleaned his whole plate so you could say he liked it. Coffee was good as always and staff was their usual attentive, friendly selves. If you haven’t been here you gotta give it a try, portions are a good size especially for the price and the food is good.

I returned and tried the Machaca con Huevos for breakfast. Very good! This time my hash browns were a little greasy and not browned well as I requested. But the eggs were worth going!

Great place to over eat! Cheap for the amount served. Server was very friendly. Food was eh. I hated the teriyaki chicken sauce(salty n watered down). My plate was well presented and chicken was cooked right.

4 stars for now… I have to try something other than breakfast to give it a full 5 stars lol! We have been here twice now, both times for breakfast and it was great! Dana our waitress was very hospitable, and welcoming! Since we were newbies we asked for recommendations, and loved everything she suggested! I take my senior grandparents and there is a great menu just for them in the back! Look for it, they have some great deals! For me I have had the french toast and pancakes. Both are very good! Next to try is the waffle. For what you can find in the area this place is a gem, good clean dining with a nice staff! We will be back!
