Delicious tacos! Great service… Not stingy with salsas! I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn’t see any of the condiments on the side like you usually do at taco trucks… I ordered 20 for my family and was amazed at the amount of cilantro, onions, guacamole, and salsas that were given. They even asked if I wanted more. Very happy! Estrella Tacos charges you for salsa which is why you will never see me there. I’m glad I found this spot!

This place is the BOMB!!! Me and my family go to this lonchera 3 to 4 times a week because of the great food they serve. The food is so good and you can’t beat the Carne asada burritos or salsas they have. If your ever in the area trust me when I say you have to try this place out. You won’t regret it!

People are nice, the burrito is really good cause the rice they make is not dry. Very affordable and they also make tripas meat. Way better than the taco truck on duarte rd.

This truck is amazing! We’ve tried their carne asada, pollo, and carnitas tacos and they are all so good but my personal favorite is the pollo. There is so much flavor in these tacos! The guys on the truck are the best, and so polite. They are super generous with the condiments as well. My husband and I are there twice a week. You won’t be disappointed.

«Which salsa do you want»? Hot, please. «.are you sure»?? O-o Were I smart, I would’ve heard the warning in his question. That was some hot ass, help-me-Jesus salsa. Anyway, the tacos were really good, but what really made me go back again was the outstanding chicken quesadilla. Just perfect for that late night munchie if you’re in the area. The salsa is really hot tho, so be advised.

The tacos here are so yummy– the flavor that they put in the taco meat is to die for. I enjoyed the burrito too, the rice and bean combination taste was light to touch. In other words, you enjoy a big burrito with lots of juicy flavor not feeling like it weighed you down. The guys who run the truck are awesome people, and super generous. Also, the price is great if your a student on a budget who wants to impress a hipster chick this is the truck to go :)

Great food!!! All the tacos taste great and the horchata is fantastic. It’s 1:56AM and people are still showing up!!! Prices are cheap, 1.25 a taco. Big yellow truck can’t miss it! Very friendly.

I give this place 5’s! The Torta de Asada is Delicious, Their Staff is Very Friendly & They’re NOT Cheap with the Cebollas(Grilled Onions) or Sauces, They hook it up! They’ll give you all 3: Red, Green & Guac Sauces, which is Always Great to Mix! Parking is Safe & it’s a Good Location by the 210 Freeway. Not Bad for my 1st Time Here and i’m Stoked that it wasn’t a «First & Last» Experience. I’ve found that Almost All Places that Offer Suadero Meat, they’re usually Very Tasty. I will be back to try the rest of their Menu. Side Note: This place is Great for Late/Evening Mexican Food meals. The Closest other ones that are also Good are: Tacos La Doña on Duarte & Rosemead, «No Name» spots in Eagle Rock(Figueroa), the Famous one on Fair Oaks Ave in Oldtown Pasadena(Nishikawa Auto Parts Parking Lot, by Huntington Memorial Hospital) or various spots Baldwin Park/El Monte. This will be absolutely your Best Choice if you’re not already by those which I listed above.

Eric was at the register today. The usual guy that is at the register was not there. I asked for three vegetarian tacos and they gave me 3 carne Asada tacos and when I got home I saw it and had to come back. Which sucked! I told them the order was incorrect and they made me 3 vegetarian tacos with pieces of carne Asada hidden in it!!! That is so F***ed UP!!! I came back another time to give it to him and he gave me attitude and was rude after he messed up! Not only were they rude but if you are a vegetarian WATCHOUT!!! This is not a good place to eat and I definitely do not recommend it. If they are this careless who knows what you might find hidden in your taco or burrito plate? Don’t risk it!!!

Best brisket torta ever! Not sure what they do to get the texture of the bread, the brisket, lettuce and cheese to all work together so perfectly, but it’s something to behold. I’m always sad after the last bite. The meat for the tacos is seasoned pretty perfectly. Make sure you get the Guac, the green salsa, and DONOTMISS the RED Salsa! It’s a masterpiece. My wife loves their quesadillas. Forget everything you know about quesadillas. This is the real thing. Everything is terrific you can’t go wrong here! The Horchata is one of the most delicious I’ve ever had and the perfect companion to put out the fire of their red salsa which is a must to accompany everything they make. The guys that run this place are very cool. I tipped them a dollar and they gave me a free refill on the Horchata. Try them. It’ll be the best $ 5-$ 10 you ever spend.

Great local taco, burrito, Torta, and awesome quesadillas. Been here numerous times. Steak quesadilla is best I’ve had. Huge and crispy. Had every combo taco on menu– all are real good. The pickled cucumbers and onion in Hot sauce are the perfect topping if you like spicy and cool at the same time. The chicken taco was good. Nothing crazy. But the asada Torta was really good and everything was fresh ! Great local taco spot

i only have one complaint and thats that i dont receive a loyal customer discount or an occasional freebie. I mean theres been weeks where i’ve been here every night but thats mainly due to living only a thousand feet away, The amazing tacos dont hurt either. Joking aside i love this chicken colored truck. My taconaso friend will make you feel like you’re a rich man living in the suburbs who rented a taco truck, with his exceptional customer service.

Stopped here for an after bar snack on the way back to a friend’s house. They have tacos, burritos, tortas and quesadillas and can make them with a variety of meat choices. It had the regular ones like Carne Asada, pollo, chorizo, carnitas, and pastor as well as things that are a little bit out if my comfort zone like cabeza, lengua, and tripe. It’s $ 1.25 per taco and I got two Asada tacos with cheese. The meat is diced really small and it was a small portion but reasonable. After all, they are $ 1.25. They put some of the other toppings out for you to help yourself like sauces, limes, and a cucumber, pepper onion mix my friends really liked. My favorite item was the chicken quesadilla. If I end up back there I will definitely try one of the meats in quesadilla form.

I really love the avocado sauce. Been looking for this sauce forever. It makes the food even more Delish. Ok now onto the food review. Ordered burrito, tacos and quesadilla. All was amazingly delicious. The meat tender and tasted fresh. Which is great! Usually the carnitas would be dry and brownish. This was actually tender and fresh. The carne asada was just right. Hello tender! I think you knew where I’m going with the meat situation. Tender and fresh! The price is even great. $ 1.25 for tacos and burrito is $ 5. If I remember the quesadillas are also $ 5.00. The condiments are right on the truck. There is a table to eat and parking is well right there. It’s in a parking lot of a store. Right in the corner of Rosemead and Colorado. Yells truck can’t miss it. Oh and they have this meat which you have to ask for but I really wish I knew how to say it in Spanish. But it’s beef brisket. So ask for it in all your tacos or burrito cause the meat was tender and cooked just right. Oh and don’t forget the avocado sauce and cucumbers(spicy) they ran out but I’ll take my friends take on it. Must be good since its all gone.

True, I first gave tacos el pollo a few months ago a 5star rating, but now 1Star. .they USEDTO be great, but. the Downfall started when I received chewy fatty carnivals tacos. But the last straw was when tge gave rude service last time the family and I went. They mixed up my party’s order. Gave tacos to wrong person. When we brought it to their attention the said«too bad, we can’t fix it. Pay them again to make new ones, they don’t want to lose money». Off of 2 tacos? They’ll lose money to redo 2 tacos? What! We were loyal customers! We went practically everyday! We referred them to friends and family– and that’s how they respond to us!!! Tsk, Tsk. They lost customers.

Nice to find a truck in Pasadena that serves tasty burritos and quesadillas at night time… My first time here was on a Friday night. It was around 10pm. There were a few people eating on some tables & another couple waiting for their orders. Tacos El Pollo is located at the Lucky Car Wash on the corner of Colorado Blvd & Rosemead. I ordered a carne asada burrito with no cilantro and a quesadilla with meat(carne asada). I liked the burrito a lot. The asada was well seasoned & generously packed in the burrito. The rice was tasty & the beans were good. I was real happy with that order. The quesadilla with carne asada was also quite good. It was real tasty. The cheese was good and that well seasoned meat was a perfect addition to it. Both the burrito and the quesadilla were $ 5 each. Not cheap but it was worth it to me. The salsas(both red and green) are good. They have plastic containers so you can pack a salsa or 2 for the road. I liked the green one better and went with that on my burrito. It really complimented the flavors perfectly. The guys that work there are super cool… Even though I asked for no cilantro, they still asked me if I wanted cilantro on the side. They gave me diced onions & lime on the side. I never even asked for it but it was great on my burrito. Good folks running that truck. We will be back again and often. Gracias Tacos El Pollo.

On the corner of COLORADO and ROSEMEAD, at Lucky’s Carwash, the little yellow truck stared right at us and beckoned us to come over, order from it, and eat it. While we couldn’t eat the truck, the TACOS themselves were pretty good. I ordered the Carnitas and the ASADA. I liked the flavor of the asada more than the carnitas. There were only 2 containers of green sauces put out. Both were pretty good. Boyfriend ordered a beef BURRITO. I didn’t like the burrito as much as I liked the tacos. It had a strange mushroom-y taste. I know… makes no sense. Now that I really look at the title of this place, I think I should’ve gone for a Pollo Taco instead. The SERVICE was kind of disappointing. Our order took a looooooooong time to prepare! I know there’s like, only 3 people or so inside the truck preparing mind blowing tacos, but yikes! I don’t think we’ve had to wait more than 15 minutes for tacos! When we brought it back to our friend’s house, it was barely warm(and no, they don’t live far.) Don’t hate me… but I think I still prefer Las Doña, or the little taco trailer(?) on Valley a tiny bit more.
