This rating is based off of the phone call, I just tried to make and appointment and the receptionist got all my info only to tell me that they only receive cash for the doctor I am calling for, jajaja. In the beginning of the call I always ask do you take my insurance I give them my insurance name, I told her I need to see Doctor Jason Chan for Chiropractor services, she said okay we have to call first to see if your insurance covers, I said okay so I gave her all my info, then she says uhm let me put you on hold because Doctor Jason Chan only takes cash, after getting all my insurance information, my information, and scheduled an appointment, then at the end of the call she says just remember Dr. Jason Chan only takes cash, then why get my insurance information… makes no sense, im thinking its a Monday thing, OMG! Just wasted 15min of my time, plus 5 rating this place, blah.

As a dancer, I have learned to go through some rigorous movements. Because of this, I have also learned to listen to my body. But if that were ALWAYS the case I wouldn’t have met Dr. Jason Chan D.C. Being diagnosed with piriformis syndrome is no fun. I had been dancing for years when one day I felt a pain on my buttock. If you are familiar with this pain then please keep reading. After rehearsing over and over I noticed that the pain started with my low back and then went over to the buttock. Next thing I knew, I had incredible shooting, sharp, pain down my leg(sciatica). I was devastated because I couldn’t walk, let alone dance. Because I didn’t have access to health care in the US I was able to seek treatment in Mexico. I met with an Orthopedic Specialist and after being diagnosed with Piriformis Syndrome I was able to get treatment there. I received therapy for 2 weeks and came home way better. About 3 years had gone by when I re-injured my self in a rehearsal. I went crazy looking for similar treatment when I found Dr. Jason Chan. I explained to him my history, that I dance, and what the pain felt like. After asking me questions and assessing my situation, he provided me with the treatment that I received in MX. I could not believe that he knew what I had since most therapists were not familiar with it. He explained to me that he could provide, ultrasound, modulations, muscle work, electrode stimulation, and I was relieved. After my first visit I was convinced! He is highly professional and listens to you. To all the dancers out there: if you need some muscle work done come to Dr. Chan. He listens and knows that YOU know your body well.
