I walked into this hair salon to have a haircut after having read good reviews on Unilocal. The woman, who was sitting at the desk resting her head on her palm, greeted me with an abrupt YES!!! Also when I tried to make an appointment over the phone, she had a rude tone in her voice. I immediately walked out. I don’t like doing business with rude people so will never be their customer.

Make sure you make an appointment over the phone! A friend referred me to Joey. He did a great job on my hair in about 20 minutes and cost 15 $. According to my friend Joey used to cut hair for 50 $ however now they are opening up a new business so mens cuts are 15 $. The place is rather small and located in the back and I think they are running the salon in a building that seems to be where they live too. The set up is like a salon on one half in the building and the other half seems to be a house. The parking lot only has room for 4 cars just FYI.

Highly highly recommend this place! I had virgin hair and wanted to dye my hair so you can imagine how incredibly scared I was. The lady who cut my hair was very comforting and made me feel at ease. Unfortunately, since I had no clue about getting my hair dyed, I washed my hair a couple of hours before getting it dyed. That’s a big no no. I told her about it and she said she wouldn’t put too much chemicals on it. Very nice. It DOES help if you speak Chinese just so you can express your concerns and needs but overall really good experience! The whole thing was about 2 – 3 hours and she did a really good job washing my hair afterwards. It was a great decision because I got a lot of compliments on it. Overall, as a first timer, the lady was awesome, gave great recommendations and asked questions to ensure you get what you want. It was $ 30-$ 40 total(which is A LOT cheaper than other places) and it looks great!

I came here to fix my hair color back in November and I was pleased with the results. I tried to bleach my hair twice and only gotten to a caramel-orangey tone and some bright yellows here and there, it was a mess so i came here. The price is cheap if you have a budget and their hair cuts are really good too. The only problem is that they mainly speak cantonese/chinese and prefer to speak that language rather than english. It was a little hard to communicate with the stylist because she didn’t understand my english but my hair turned out fine. She said because of all the different shades in my hair, i’d have to go back to black hair(after previously having some blonde parts before my full whole head hair bleach) and because i looked very disappointed, she suggested me to dye a section or strand purple. It turned out great and my hair felt healthy after it too.

As said on previous review, it’s a family business. Joey came from a big salon which charged $ 50+ for haircut and pampering. Glad that he and his wife are running their own business, and I have been following them everywhere they go. $ 15 for a quick 30 minutes cut. $ 45 for a 1.5 hour perm. If you can beat this price and quality, please let us know. ** Appointment and Cash Only!

It’s a family run business, the husband, Joey is the stylist, his wife does the cleaning, coloring, and cashier. Appointment only, and they are on time and quick. With the price being $ 15, they do a quite detailed job, and spend about 20 minutes to make sure the cut is good. Very friendly, and follows instructions good. I always tell him I would like to keep the length, and he does exactly that, never had an incidence where he cut too much away. Very reliable.
