Norma’s amazing and super sweet.

So, I decided to treat myself to what I thought was going to be a delightful experience… To my surprise my hair looked worse than when I walked in. I specifically told the girl I did not want my hair darker… I wanted the same color or lighter only. My only reason for going in was so that I could get my grays covered up! Grays never covered up and my ends were jet black… the top of my hair was brown and the bottom was black! Ugh! Really? There was a stripe across my head! To my surprise the girl wanted to charge me another $ 35 just to blow dry my hair! Are you serious??? My hair was dry when I walked in!!! This is absurd! I didn’t want a gorgeous blow out I only wanted dry hair. When I went to my car I used a napkin to get the drops of water out of my ends because by now my back and neck were freezing! I was about to have lunch with my daughter so I went into the bathroom and actually stuck my head under the hand dryer to at least get it somewhat dry!!! Never going here again!!! There are sooooo many other salons on the same street that will color and blow dry your hair for a fraction of what Norma BLAQUE charges…

I could think of many words to describe Norma Blaque Studios but I’m not going to keep on blabbing in here. I just would like to thank Norma Blaque for being such a wonderful and professional stylist. She did an Excellent job with my hair (color and cut) same as my moms. I will come back for sure and recommend her to my friends. Jenny who is such a sweetheart whom also assisted myself in my long overdue make over. I found my new go to spot finally! I could not thank you enough ladies!

I’ve been putting off getting balayage done on my hair for a while but I figured it could be my xmas gift to myself. I am so in love with the way it turned out! Normally I come here for a trim and style… and since the girls here do such an amazing job, of course I would come here do get my balayage done! Everyone is always so friendly and always does their best to make you feel comfortable. I don’t mind spending a little extra to get my hair done because it’s so worth it in the end. This salon is my little gem in san fernando!

Norma is amazing! I love her so much. I came in for the first time today and she was nothing but sweet. She will keep you entertained for hours while she does an amazing job on your hair. I went blonde for the first time and I couldn’t trust anyone else than Norma doing it. You won’t regret it

I was referred by a friend to see Jen for color and I was very satisfied. She did exactly what I had asked. She was very professional. The staff is super nice. This is definitely going to be my regular place to get my hair done. Highly recommend it!!!

I recently visited this studio with my family in LA. I got my hair and makeup done for a wedding. There were 5 of us in total and we all had a wonderful experience. The girls are really sweet and super flexible! They really listen to the look you’re going for and will make adjustments if you aren’t happy. The studio itself is adorable. Fabulous lighting, clean and very chic. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely give this place a visit.

I went in for my first time ever today, and right away I was greeted and offered something to drink. My stylist today was Yesenia and wow did she do an AMAZING job! I got a full color, cut and blow dry and I could not be any happier with my hair cut and color! I definitely recommend going there! I will be definitely be going back!

I was in the area and had some time to kill and I decided to change my hair. I called and the person who answered was very polite and right away schedule my appointment for the time slot I had requested. It was great they were available since it was totally last minute. My hair was done by Celia and she is so sweet and bubbly. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she got it to the T! She was very gentle with my hair and I love her work. The salon is very clean and the staff is very sweet! Will definitely be coming back.

I Love their vibe, full of smiles. They make me feel like im being pampered and i love it, the only thing i can possibly complain about would be how pricey they are, but hey good things dont always come cheap. Definitely worth my time and money. Highly recommend Fatima for your makeup.

Tiffany is the best! I always come to her for all my hair needs. I’ve gotten so many compliments on everything I’ve gotten done here: highlights, ombré, balayage, auburn hair, etc. Im always a happy customer here and that is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend it! Check it out !!

Before coming here I was going to different salons because I couldn’t find a place that could get what I wanted and help me with my hair (it’s thick, and I have a ton of hair). I started coming here 3 yrs ago and I haven’t stopped coming! I love everyone here from Norma, tiff, Yesenia, Fatima, etc. Everyone is so friendly and kind and they always make me feel awesome. Thanks Girls!

I’ve been here once and the price seemed reasonable $ 55.00 for a hair cut. I usually go to Aveda salon in studio city. But I decided to try it again today. I asked the receptionist if they would take walk in, she said yes but the hair cut stars from $ 75.00. what?! It’s a cute place and they do a good job but it’s located in the city of San Fernando and they want to charge like if they were in Sherman Oaks or Encino lol.

Ok… Ive reviewed this place before and now I’m back… I had not gone in yo the salon in a while and needed a blowdry today… Tifanny blowdried it and she does an amazing job! I am just soo angry because when I went to pay the girl at the register said «$ 45»…ummmmm…for a blowout? Sorry but I’ve been to many salons that are more high end and they dont charge that much…
Anyway, I yold the receptionist «you guys usually charge me $ 35» and she said «well we have raised our prices.» I then told her «I wish you told me when I called for my appointment» she didnt even answer me… I was so pissed off… i just gave her my CC… she then asked if I wanted to add a tip so I just had her add only $ 5 …made my total $ 50!!! For a blowdry!!! That is just insane…
If you are goung to raise your prices, let your clients know… I mean I called ahead of time… they could have told me… they know Im a regular client and Im in their system… the right thing would be to let me know the new price.
Also, $ 45 is just insane for a regular blowdry. I will not go back just because of this. $ 45 is way too much for me to spend on blowdrying my hair.
My new rating is 4 stars because I did love my hair… Tifanny is super nice and the salon is clean. I seriously am very dissapointed because I loved going here for blowdries, especially because I live so close. Because of the price increase, I just know I wont be going back :(Wish they charged less.
