El Pollo Loco

Well u haven’t been to pollo loco since maybe last year, my kids wanted for lunch so I ordered family meal, chicken always tastes great, their cilantro salad dressing is my favorite! Only thing that wasn’t great was waiting 15 min in drive through, Im starting to remember why I hadn’t been here in so long. I’ll think about it twice before returning to this location.

Worst ever! It’s such a battle to get your order right. They focus way to much on how fast they go. I have never had my order right. Doesn’t matter if I go on or drive-​thru. To top it off the salsa bar is a joke! It’s salsa people! Not freaking ww3. People are rude because they want to get out so fast. It creates such a hostile environment.
If that’s the case sell your salsa in bigger containers! Make more &! Hello???

Worst pollo loco on this planet. Out of the same damn for 4 fucking days !!! Who is the manager here ?! They need to replace him or her w a damn monkey ! That would do a better job.

Came here about 2 hours ago. Ordered a salad, shrimp bowl and Mac and cheese and I got sick. Im paying the price right now by throwing up and having to go to the restroom every second (disgusting I know tmi) but seriously have never felt this sick eating here before.): On my way to Walgreens to buy Pepto Beisol. If it’s still open. If not I’m screwed. Never coming back again.

The drive thru is the most horrible drive thru ever! I’ve sat in the line several times for 20 – 35 minutes.
I just called and the ‘manager’ said, «we’re hurrying». This is absolutely ridiculous! She did apologize after I questioned what was being done.
When I go, there is always a long line that goes out of the driveway which causes a driving hazard. I’ve seen several near car accidents.
It’s gotten so bad that I consider driving to the one in Tujunja instead of dealing with the wait here.

I love pollo loco but the last times I’ve been to this particular one it’s been filthy!!! The floors are disgusting, the salsa bar is dirty, the tables are never wiped down. Last time I go to this location. Hope management sees their Unilocal and makes changes!

Yesterday I went to drive through and it was a long line honestly I wouldn’t be showing up to Pollo Loco but the Valley has some nasty fast food but since I’m pregnant my baby was craving chicken, anyway I just wanted to say Emilio was so sweet and so adorable handsome man in drive through he took my order quickly and gave me exactly what I ordered and extra salsas without asking him.

Terrible experience… I definitely wasn’t expecting 5 star service but damn!!! let’s start with needing to retrain the rude window team member Emilio… next let’s make sure that the food on your menu is available to purchase… There was no legs no Mac and cheese and the cashier never apologized! He just simply said «seriously I’m not lying I can show you we have none» so after waiting over 15 minutes at the window, watching over 4 people chatting at the window and finally getting my order the cashier handed the order over with saying about 2 words. When I get home I was missing tortillas for 3 dishes, 1 Mac n cheeses and 1 mash potatoes side dishes. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at this pollo loco, there are typically long wait times but to have a rude cashier from the moment he spoke on the speaker and missing items… is just ridiculous.

dirty filthy scum!!! why did i even bother, worst of all no one complained to my surprise, i guess my race knows no better, i mentioned it to a worker there, but she could care less, who eats here, it’s worst than the taco stands in gang filled L.A.

Long line! Ugh I agree with everyone. It’s 10pm ugh! Started at 9:39 just got my order in at 9:55 prob another 15 minutes for me to get it… Might as well made it myself at home…

Horrible wait with poorly organization. Waited in line for at least 10 – 15 mins (drive through) without any move. Went inside the store and saw a long line too. There were at least 6 people working inside the store.

Long lines Saturday ⁵⁄₂₃ at 6:30 pm out the door with one cashier. Manager standing around looking at everyone. Went outside and realized our salad was missing. The fake manager was manager very rude acted as if we wanted her left arm. Chicken was dry as well.

Longest wait time ever in the car. Granted it is literally raining but I’ve been in my car for over 20 minutes. I will never do this again.

Well I waiting in line like usual. And when I ordered all white meat and paid for it they come back to window to tell me they are out of white meat and do I want my money back. Wow I ask them what are you putting in the burritos. They state white meat. So I told them to give me chopped up white meat then. They gather up like a football huddle. Keep in mind they don’t come back to tell me anything. They just had me my order. The food is good hear but they need to step up The customer service

I don’t normally give reviews unless I feel passionately about my experience (amazing or awful) at places.
love Pollo Loco, but I think I’m going to have to find an alternative place for my chicken craving.
I have gone time and time again hoping that my experiences have been flukes, but today was the last time. Here are my chief complaints from previous times:
1. The chicken they use for cesar salad bowl, the avocado quesadilla, and the burrito I’ve gotten from here are always salty. The worst part is that the chicken is really hard and burnt… like it was microwaved and then tossed in with a few good chicken pieces so as to not make it obvious they are using old/​nuked chicken.
2. The corn chowder is salty.
3. They give me corn tortillas when I specifically ordered flour.
It’s few complaints and one might even say minor, but the thing is even after given this location multiple chances, my food still comes out the same way, so for now, no more Pollo Loco for lunch. :’(

We used to frequent this restaurant at least twice a week but slowly it has been getting worse and worse. The drive thru is always messing up the orders but our last adventure was definitely the final straw. we ordered a couple of 3 piece meals and had to throw half of the pieces away because they were so burnt and hard, we called the manager (Rosio) to mention this to her and her response was that people like it this way and that we should of ordered the juicy chicken instead. That just pretty much floored me, obviously this manager doesn’t care to even come up with a reasonable excuse but instead blamed us for not ordering the right chicken. Never again will we eat there.

Despite the super busy atmosphere & chronic messy salsa bar — the staff is very bright and personable. They remember regulars and take their time with you. They are what makes this place. The managers seem a bit uptight about extra condiments, IE: Sour Cream — which is super annoying since I get lunch there so often. Very busy parking lot and drive thru.
