Lighthouse Paros

The venue was beautiful with the chandeliers! That’s about the only part I like. The plates were plastic, silverware was dirty, servers did not look friendly, and food was okay. The area isn’t the best looking but if your party is on the second floor you are able to escape the unpleasant view of NoHo. One of the bathroom doors was missing as well. The placement of tables was random and crowded. The worst part was valet. The men were smoking on the job and their station was not presentable. When we got our car back there was a crack on the drivers window. It cost $ 10 so be aware that you are putting your car at risk. One of the men was checking out my aunt and asking her personal questions. They were not presentable looking at all. The entrance was very dirty. It seemed that they used the parking areas in front of the venue as a storage for old, dirty cars. There were stray cats wandering around as well. Overall, there were some characteristics that deserved the 2 stars I gave it.

I am extremely disappointed with this place. Although it’s a friends wedding which went well. The service we received for the dinner was not good. The server was extremely cocky and rude and took an eternity to bring back our food the we reordered. I will never book any event here ever!

Their FOOD is #1 in town, I am inlove with their appetizers, they have so many choices… Great service, very friendly and kind owners, and always give great deals… If you are looking for a place with good food then you should stop there.

If I could I wouldn’t even put one star this place is horrible the owner is a horrible person don’t ever have ur parties here they will take all ur money and then pull out on the day of the party! Beware!

We just attended a quinceanera there. I thought the place was nice. I did not experience any rudeness as how some reviews have mentioned, the waiters were super busy though because of the size of the party. Here are my impressions: First of all, parking is Valet $ 10.00, the valet people were not rude but were fast in what they are doing, you can tell he does smoke but he is getting his work done. If you want to avoid the valet parking fee, just plan ahead and try to arrive early to your event, because you might find parking on the street.
The food was good, they served platters of beef, chicken, pasta, salad and some very yummy baked potatoes. As a matter of fact, they were actually courteous to us even despite the fact that we got there late and they were done serving the food, they actually did bring us our plates and food and always attended the table we were sitting in, always refilling the water and soda jugs. Dance floor was decent size, and entire hall was big, our party had close to 200 if not 200 people. Know that they do close the entrance to late comers once the max capacity has reached, so don’t get there too late to your event. Restrooms were clear, the bartenders were polite. The reason why I gave 4 stars because I do agree with another review that mentioned about the stair railing that is loose, I would recommend they fix it and make it more sturdy to prevent any problems. I would not recommended this place to anyone! Yes, it may be a decent place «visually» however, believe me you would rather spend more money than to book here!
Let’s start from the beginning…
#1. Valet is $ 10. Hope that when you pull up you don’t have to wait for the valet driver to finish his phone conversation and his cigarette. Apparently he’s the «owner» but if you ask me he’s a rude jerk!
#2. The staff is BEYOND RUDE! At one point I had a waiter push in my chair to get by. What happened to the words «excuse me»?!!
#3 The food was cold. Hope that your guests to don’t come late because they will attitude when asking for the «family style» plates to be refilled.
#4 You pay for open bar for 250 people all night and their so called «full stock bar» runs out of Costco margarita and Trader Joes «two buck chuck» before 10:00pm.
#5 IFFFF you make the horrible mistake by booking this venue make sure you book you do NOT book their photo booth. It’s a joke and every 20 minutes the «photographer» takes a 15 minute break.
The lists goes on and on but I’ll be here all day writing. Believe me… STAY AWAY!

I am not big on leaving reviews however I had to put this one up. I am not sure who this Garnet person is who is trying to defend this place. Don’t be fooled by the inside appearance. The staff here is very rude and yes they do charge for valet parking then park you vehicle on the street. When we tried to complain the owner it took him more than 30 minutes to come out and when he finally did, he was smoking inside I front of all my family. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I would not recommend this hall. The owner was extremely rude to me when I asked him to please stop smoking in the kitchen while the food for the guest was being prepared. I could care less if the man and chef smoke but when food is being prep it’s discussing!

My friend had a birthday party there. Not a good choice for a special occasion (or for anything else, for that matter). First of all, it’s a huge banquet hall which fits probably 100 – 200 easily, and ours (about 20 people) was the only party there. That should have been our first warning sign. Second, they initially set it up in two round tables. I understand when you have a 100+ guests there is no other choice but to seat them in round tables of 10 each. But, come on! For 20 people, there are many ways to set it up with regular tables, so that people sit together (and I speak from experience, I used to be a waiter). Only after our host raised the issue with the manager did they change the setup. Oh well. It will be good from now on, right? Wrong. A fully detailed narrative would be too long, so just the highlights:
Food. Mediocre to blah. One example: our hosts ordered what was called «extended sea food banquet». I would have expected a serious sea food gourmet dinner, right? We did get some funny-​tasting mussels stuffed with rice (WTF?), some shrimp scampi, and, top of the line — fried anchovies. Seriously? And by the time we left, at about 11 p.m., the main course had not even been served.
Service. Unprofessional and slow. Waiters had to be repeatedly asked for small things like an extra napkin, or refill of water. Actually, I have to correct myself. The service was indeed very good — but only for the table where the musicians and the management of the place were seating. There, the waiters were running with tons of food.
Entertainment. A weird mix of Armenian, Russian and Western songs. Yes, our party was primarily Russian-​speaking, so we would expect Russian and Western music. But please, please, please, make a better selection. And DJ plainly had no idea of the customers’ tastes.
Ambiance. Or, rather, the lack of it. Huge space with a couple of «art» pieces on the walls.
Overall experience: Zero stars (sorry, the lowest rating I could select here was 1 star, but this place does not deserve even that). I felt really bad for our hosts who had to endure this and yet managed to save the party with their charm and sense of humor.
Oh, and Philip who gave this place 4 stars — what are you smoking, bro?
