The Habit Burger Grill

I ordered a cheeseburger & fries, my partner had the fried green beans. Nothing impressive about the burger, it was alright. It didn’t blow me away, In n Out is the way to go. I may order their chicken or steak sandwich next time.

I was Very hungry the day I came here after a food deprived long day of coming down from Big Bear mountain and the meal I had here was less than satisfying even then.
The burger tasted mediocre which was not a good sign even with my level of hunger that day and the fries were also just mediocre. My burger was stacked but difficult to eat and got soggy and quite messy. Flavors in the meat/​seasoning and such were just okay and I would have preferred just a basic in n out burger thats a fraction of the price over what I had that day.
Will not be returning to any habit burger locations.

Make sure if you order online or call in that you confirm the transaction because you may show up and they won’t have your order. Then you’ll have to wait and re order and wait all over again to get your food. Lame.

This Habit location is another 5 star location. The food is excellent, the service is top notch, and the prices are really reasonable. It is always worth a visit to any Habit locations.

Have since had two emails from The Habit. I will say that the customer service at corporate is far superior to the restaurant experience I had. Was offered vouchers to come back AGAIN after this review. Two times is my limit and unless The Habit does a complete overhaul there is no way I’m going back. If Corporate wants to go and retrain and re-​staff then maybe I would reconsider.

Good burgers for a decent price and I really like their sweet potato fries. I think the fries are one of the best I’ve had. The burgers more complex than what you’d get at in n out but not quite comparable to a gourmet burger like at eureka.
If I had to compare, I’d say it’s like a red robin burger but a much better deal. I think the burgers are slightly better than red robin, but with less selection.
That was a lot of name dropping for one review!

The Habit is always so clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Santa Barbra Burger is yummy. Great Family friendly place.

Yummy salad options ! I love the salads here. That’s the reason why I always choose this place. Clean environment, perfect to order to go or even to dine in. The Cesar salad is my favorite. The fries here are the best.

I just want to rave about the staff here: from the management to the beautiful girls they have up front. Oh yeah, the food is great as well.

This place is great! Get the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich!!! Better than it is @ Red Robin!!!

I got the classic hamburger combo but honestly it wasn’t really worth it. I’ve been on this hamburger kick lately and this didn’t cut it for me so I went to Yogurtland after next door.

Always a great experience when we eat here. Great looking location, fresh food and great service!

Yes, all the yes. The Habit is definitely up in my top ten list of best burger places. That is testament to how good it is for the simple fact they char broil their burgers, which I don’t care for. However they have the process down pat.
The combination of beef quality, condiment quality, and bun quality make an outstanding burger. Staff is very courteous and helpful. We’ve had several configurations of burger and I have never had an issue getting the order correct. They repeat back the order in detail and even in the face of long lines take the time to make sure your order is correct. Once an order of fries was missed and without a second thought the manager had someone drop an order right away for no charge.
The combination of quality, flavor, staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and value for the money make The Habit a real winner for me.

Really, really LOVE the Teriyaki Burger. That alone is enough to make me come back time and time again.
This almost didn’t happen since my first experience was just so-​so. I think I originally went in gearing for a place that that rivals In&Out, so I expected a better version of that, so I was not thrilled with the my 1^st attempt cheeseburger… although it was good, it wasn’t a fav.
The Teriyaki Burger had me at «hello,» to which I couldn’t respond, as I was stuffing my face. Lol

No flavor. Eaten here twice and nothing. And the tables are always dirty.
Not returning.

Not only are the burgers and fries delicious but their customer service exceeded my expectations. I mean for a sit down semi fast food burger joint, this place certainly knows how to greet customers with a smile on their face. I can see why this location has such a large following during lunch time. Definitely would come back to this location for a burger when I’m in the area, and would recommend getting burgers here to friends and family.

I ordered 14 different meals for my employees and I couldn’t believe how efficient the cashier was. I had a print out of each persons name and their order, so she offered to write everyone’s name down on their own bag so there wouldn’t be any confusion. She made sure each bag had napkins, utensils and appropriate condiments. It was so easy! I went in there thinking it was going to be a hassle for them but nope! Service with a genuine smile!
The cashier definitely had A+ customer service skills.

Yup, I’m a fan and glad they opened one here in San Dimas finally — practically across the street from my work.
This place conquers the «online ordering» option pretty well. You can jump online, put in your order, easily designate any substitutions or add-​ons and configure your co-​workers check amount before getting off the computer.
The timing on the computer and actual follow through when picking up has always been stellar, and I reccomend it. When you arrive, you do not have to wait in the long lines, your greeted with your drinks and as you go fill them up, they freshly make your fries there (as you arrived). Good «to-​go» concept.
I ordered the Santa Barbara which comes on sourdough bread, spread, double char burgers with avocado … plus bacon for me. The burger is good, tasty, and usually cooked pretty good. The fries and option to have half and half (fries and onion rings) are great, along with their side bbq sauce and ranch.
I will definitely come back and continue to have lunch here every so often.

Remember when burgers were juicy inside, yet had a superb taste to them that drove your tastebuds crazy. Throw a few onions on them and mmmmm mmmmm good.
I’ve always had their sirloin burgers at other Habit Burger places which are very tasty, and I get the sauces on the side. Today, I wanted to try a burger from this place and I was amazed that it brought back memories of what a burger should taste like. Almost as good as my backyard BBQ.
So with great service, pretty good food… just need the fries to be crispier. It is a little better design then most Habit Burger places. By that, I mean your not bumping butts with other people standing in line that are ordering food as your leaving the building through the same (entrance) door like the Habit in West Covina.

I almost took a star away, because I am not a fan of their burgers.
However, the chicken sandwich options here, and that divine Santa Barbara Salad, with the pecans (or is it walnuts?) and blue cheese more than make up for it.
I recently tried this new location so close to home (Yay!) and had the chicken sandwich with melted swiss, avo, on grilled sourdough. It was a winner. So delicious, juicy, nice flattened breast on perfectly grilled sourdough. Every bite was perfect, it didn’t fall apart upon biting into it. It really was perfect.
On the side, I had their sweet potato fries and a side of ranch.
Friendly service with a smile, as well. The line can get long, but it does move fast.
