Wings-N-Things

Love love love wings n things!!! This location makers the best garlic bread, so big and plump and oh so delish!!! However; Buffalo mild was lacking when in comparison to the other location nearby on black mountain. The mild Buffalo should be two tone for the Buffalo sauce and I think it’s either buttermilk or some kind of ranch added, but the black mountain location has more of it and chicken tastes much better. Conclusion, both were great, fast service, and overall delicious!!!

Came here with my family on the weekend, it was busy. Service is decent and so are the wings. We liked the bread a lot. The wings were ok. Nothing impressive. I would come back again for my wing fix since it is close to where we live.

Best wings ever? No. Best wings in San Diego? Yea-​no.
People are shocked that I’m not a fan of Wings-​N-​Things but whatever. I’ve been here two times and two times I’ve been underwhelmed.
I’m not posting this to be a troll because Wings-​N-​Things came out on top of the San Diego A-​List. Far from it. I like the A-​list. But I’ve been meaning to leave a review and it just so happened to coincide with the release of the «best of» in the city. Unfortunately, Wings-​N-​Things does not make my list.
Short and sweet: the chicken is bland and the sauces are rudimentary. The sweet chili sauce tastes like it came from Panda Frickin’ Express and the French fries taste and feel like they were just microwaved from a frozen bag stuck at the back of a grocery store freezer. Zero texture, seasoning, and taste. Kinda like the chicken.
The breadsticks are fine but I prefer potatoes with my chicken because obviously I’m just trying to be difficult.
One plus I will give is that they sell Jones Soda. I don’t actually drink the stuff anymore but it’s cool that they have a whole lineup in stock.
My coworkers love this place and for that I say more power to ‘em. But you’re not gonna find me dining here very often. But hey, despite my trolling «not-​trolling», congrats on the A-​List.

I come here all the time for wings and a beer, man do I love it! I call it my go to spot for many reasons!
#1. Great food and not just some cheap generic chicken, Im talking good fresh meaty wings. I usually do the strips though to get the most meat.
#2… great im talking a great price on a Sculpin. delicious!!! $ 4.33 including tax beats the price even at the brewery.
#3. great service my man Reggie, Ali, Woody, Eric, Marquis and I cant forget Tiffany they always make me feel at home. They give really good service and are on top of whatever you need with the quickness.
#4. great tvs with all the best sport games. go pads!
#5… breadsticks all day!!!
#6… get the hot with just a sprinkle of garlic on them you won’t be disappointed!!!

This place takes a long time to get there food out. I placed an order to go and they told me 20 minutes. But once I got there, my food wasn’t done. I ended up waiting longer (another 30 – 40 minutes) just for two orders of wings. I kept on asking about my order and they kept on saying any minute now. Was not happy about that.

Not impressed. Second time coming here and neither was a good experience at all. The second time, we 3 people asked for a table to be cleaned and they never did. They charged us for 2 drinks with a kids meal (1.99 $ each), never told us it costs for a drink. Steven said «would you like the drink, chocolate milk or water bottle with the kids meal»… And charged us 1.99 $ without letting us know it costs extra. Will not be coming back, bad service.

This was a great choice for dinner last night. My boys and I were in RB and I was hungry. I hadn’t had hot wings in a while, so off we went.
We arrived around 5:20pm and it wasn’t crowded at all. An order of double boneless wings was the perfect size for all of us. 10 boneless wings, 4 breadsticks, carrots, celery, and and two bleu cheese dressings.easy.
The food is good, service is always polite, and by the time we left the joint was hopping!
I’ll be back!

Solid wings, but not the best in town. Definitely a popular spot — this one is almost always crowded!
Service is quick and efficient, and everyone seems to really know what they’re doing, which is necessary with the consistent crowd they’ve got. They always have a game on the TVs and the beer selection/​prices are pretty awesome too.
I do wish, however, that they’d offer more non-​breaded wing options. It’s hard enough to ask for no bread sticks! Lol.

Tried Wings N’ Things in Carmel Mountain Ranch. It took me a few minutes of staring at the menu to understand how/​what to order. It’s actually pretty simple. I didn’t notice much of the «things» part of the menu, but you basically select your chicken preference (tender or wing), then style and/​or heat of sauce, etc. All comes standard with the carrots/​celery/​dressing/​breadsticks… It was better than I expected and all very tasty. Wings were substantial and meaty…
I’ll tell ya, I typically prefer my chicken on a bone. It’s always more tender, flavorful and succulent. Nice thing about their boneless strips is I could eat it with knife and fork. I appreciated not feeling like I had to take a shower when I was done!
I’ve also had the «Buffalo Chicken Pizza Sticks» from the «Things» section of the menu. Probably my favorite thing here!

This place is amazing! Great service and awesome food. It is great for groups. They have a huge patio that fits big families or a group of people that just want to get together and get some grub. We will definitely be back!

Of all the things they serve here, my favorite is probably the breadsticks. To be honest, the breadsticks are the only reason why I would go here because I prefer other wing places over this one.
I usually get honey bbq. Really good flavor in this sauce. But I do wish they had more flavor options.
They don’t offer much in terms of sides, but like I said, the breadsticks are good and sufficient.
They charge extra for extra ranch or bleu cheese. Which I wish they gave bigger servings of the ranch if they are going to charge for it like other places.
Inside it’s pretty clean. Service is fine, nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad.

Thought i come try some wings and some good breadsticks from wings n things. All I keep hearing about is the breadsticks and how good they are, so I thought I put it to the test lol.
And wouldn’t you know they passed with flying colors. The breadsticks were amazing. A. It crunchy and chewy at the same time. I loved it. The chicken strips were also really good I couldn’t complain one bit. The staff was nice and made sure we were okay throughout the whole meal and there was television to watch the games. I didn’t know that they serve beer so I’ll come back for that next time. All in all it was a good time and would definitely stop by again in the future! Until next time

This place is great friendly service and the food tastes great. Never a disappointment always consistent.

This wings and things is always good. To me I think that this is the best location and they have the best customer service. The only down side is this place is always packed with a line out the door. I like there beer selection and the fact there is a bar area. Plenty of seating but it never seems like enough because the place is just so busy. Over all great location and I will be back.

I love reading bad reviews of this place. This is by far the most badass wings and things I have been to. Clean, super awesome people customer service and the whole layout is great. It’s basically a very nice sports bar. There is about 6 t. vs!

It’s no wonder that these are the best wings in San Diego. I just keep coming back every week.
The chicken is never dry for me, and they don’t skimp on the sauce at all. The breadsticks are made fresh as well and they’re sooo tasty! They’re comparable to the breadsticks from O’s American Kitchen right across the parking lot, maybe a little less garlic-​y. I love dipping them in the sauces that they pour on top of the chicken. You know how some places under rate their spices and you get a mild but then it comes in burning your mouth? Wing N Things doesn’t do that. Their sauce hotness ratings are fair in that they fit what they’re supposed to be.
There’s a bar in the back for beer on tap that you can also go to, which is nice. There’s also plenty of seating both inside and outside, and there are tv screens everywhere. The servers are friendly as well. You do have to flag them down though, since they don’t check on you very often. However, they are happy to help.
The cashier was super nice and helpful. I ordered 2 double meals, thinking that since i wanted different sauces for each meal, that that was what I needed. She then told me that she went ahead and just put it in as a family meal and split it into 2 since it’d be cheaper for the same amount of food, which was perfect.
I did find it weird though that they don’t really have that many trashcans around, which is inconvenient to get to if you’re sitting in the front of the store. We asked our server if we were supposed to leave them, and he said that he would be the one taking care of that. I saw that a couple other tables did it too. When you finish your meal you just leave it on the table for them to clean up for you. I wish I could just throw them away on my own, since the plates and utensils are all disposable. Or what if I did need to throw something away? I’d have to go to the trash can outside. I just feel bad leaving a pile of disposable plates and napkins at the table, when I could’ve helped the workers a little by throwing them away on my own. I did find out on the next trip here that there were 2 trash cans in the very back, but I never would’ve seen it from the front of the space.
My favorite combination of sauces to get on my wings is the honey bbq mixed in with the hot sauce. I also recommend the sweet chili sauce for the buffalo chicken pizza sticks!

I’ve always heard about how good this place is but never really got the motivation to get up and try it until they had a National Wing Wednesday Day. The deal was to buy 1 single wing meal and get one free!
I got wings with hot sauce on the side. The hot sauce reminded me of franks red hot sauce. At first, I was a little bummed that it wasn’t that spicy. After I kept eating my wings, it’s like the spice kept doubling and doubling, but not enough to make me stop eating them. I will admit, the edges of my mouth were numb.
The breadsticks were soft, warm, and buttery. I wish I tried them before my hot chicken wings because my mouth was a little numbed out. Otherwise, I’m sure they would’ve tasted even better!
Didn’t care much for the celery & carrots because they’re just «things» that come with the wings.
Plenty of TVs and outdoor patio, in the shade, seating. Plus you get to fill your own drink! They even have the Gold Peaks Tea variety of drinks!
I am so happy that I got to try this place out because now I have to come back to try their tenderloins! And maybe their atomic hot sauce too this time. :)

I am a wing aficionado and have ventured to many wing establishments around San Diego. I was very disappointed in the size of my wings when I came in for a to-​go lunch order. It looked like my wings came from the smallest chickens in the flock. I also was very sad that they did not close the lid to the container and my wing sauce spilled out all over the bag.
The sauces were average and not particularly memorable so I would have to give this place an A-​OK. However, I would highly recommend you check your order and make sure the boxes are closed before you leave the restaurant (to avoid any spillage of the sauce).
The breadsticks were fantastic though.
I will probably not come back unless I was with a group of friends.

I love Wings N Things :) I have always enjoyed every single order I have ever gotten because they’ve got some pretty good tasting chicken. I normally order the chicken strips, but both the chicken tenders and wings are really yummy. I normally order the medium sauce with garlic and lemon pepper combined or sometimes separate. The bread sticks are really good especially when drenched with the Wings N Things sauce!
The location is in the heart of Carmel Mountain in the same shopping center near Home Depot and O’s American Kitchen. I normally go to the Escondido and Mira Mesa location. This location I’ve been to as well a few times. I came here last Tuesday night and it was very busy, but was able to get a good seating area. There’s plenty of tables and a little bar to enjoy along with TV’s. I’ve taken two of my friends who have never been to Wings N Things and both thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I will get more hooked on this goodness!
