Was completely discriminated against from a cashier named Amber for using WIC checks here. She had the nastiest attitude toward me and has every time I’ve used WIC in her specific check out lane. William, Lara, Roxy, Kate, Darryl, Eugene, EVERY cashier, has treated me very pleasantly EXCEPT for Amber. Brought it up to corporate so the store manager contacted me and said he wanted to take care of me. Went there to meet him and he gave me 2, $ 5 gift cards. Apparently you can be discriminated against and utterly ABUSED for using a state funded nutritional program for your son with Autism and they could care less. They think that $ 5 gift cards will make up for it. Awesome. Thanks for nothing. I would give negative stars if I could. Will be shopping at Ralphs from now on where every cashier is willing to ring you up, regardless of your Socioeconomic status.

I love this Vons. We were in the area. This Vons has everything. As we walked inside, I saw a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice. Not only did it have that but on the other side was a Panda Express. I was very tempted to eat at Panda Express. There were tables at the corner. Around that corner were the rest rooms. I wish the Vons near us had a Jamba Juice, Starbucks and a Panda Express inside. Other than that, they aisles were well organized. It was easy to find everything in the store. Don’t forget to carry your Vons card. It comes in handy when you purchase sales items. There seems to be great deals every day. Look in your local ads. This Vons is the best by far. Parking was easy. Plenty of parking in front. It was easy getting in and out. I would definitely come back here if we are in the area.

Love the Panda Express. Usually the fruit is fresh. Very nice people. The market is clean and has large choice.

This is the closest grocery store but unfortunately it is my least favorite. Many of the dairy is sitting on the shelf, with expired dates. Especially the yogurt. The staff is not around to answer any questions and often there are long lines to check out. Also the prices are very high.

For what type of grocery store this is it is very nice. I recently moved to California and the first grocery stores I went to were Jimbo’s, Sprouts, and Whole Foods, those types of places. I started to think California was the land of all organic, abundant, grocery stores with nice cafes in them and sometimes weird live music. Vons is simpler. This one is clean and has a nice organic or natural section. It always seems to be the same friendly people working there. The location is in a nice shopping center that doesn’t have enough parking. It gets pretty hectic here during lunch hours and after work. No real complaints, it doesn’t have a huge selection of local or independent products but that comes with the territory.

This Vons is located across the street from my work and is very easy for me to stop in and quickly get in and out. While the set up of the store is rather strange to me and I haven’t quite learned to navigate the store yet, I am able to find everything that I need. The staff here is incredibly nice and helpful. The pharmacy staff always go out of their way to help accommodate whatever circumstance that I have and make sure I am able to access my meds. The deli staff is always very accommodating as well. I had a potluck at work and was set on bring fried chicken and when I arrived to the deli section, there wasn’t any fresh fried chicken to be seen! I asked when the chicken would be ready and I was told that it wouldn’t start to be cooked for another 30 minutes or so. I had to get to work in 20 minutes… I think he could see the look of disappointment on my face so he said to give him 2 minutes and he would get the chicken fried for me and it would be ready in 10 minutes. In 10 minutes, he gave me pipping hot crispy fried chicken. He made my day.

Britnni(I think that’s how she spells it! lol) who works in the Starbucks section in Vons is Awesome! She is always happy and likes to have a conversation with you! Every time she makes my coffee, it comes out perfect!

The worst customer service you can ever wish to experience. No matter how many times you call a prescription in they never have it ready.

This is the closest grocery store to my moms house and as it is Vons, prices are not bad, service is great and quality of food and flowers if perfect. The only think I HATE is there are always people out front, selling stuff, asking to register for something, etc. Its extremely annoying! If there was another choice within a reasonable driving distance I would go just not to have to deal with solicitors walking in and out.

This is the grocery store I visit every week based on proximity alone. In general it is clean and covers the basics that a grocery store needs to cover… I’ll list out the pro’s and cons to it: Pros –Jamba/Starbucks/Panda/Flower Shop/Wells Fargo/Pharmacy inside –Good variety inside the store. They rarely are missing something I am looking for –Good produce offering, I find they last as long as other grocery stores(about a week) –Prices are on par with other stores, not especially high or low –Huge wine selection –Walking distance from my house! The location in general is good, near the freeway and close to other great places(Sushi, Chipotle, The Dresser, Pet Store, Shoe Cobbler) Cons: — Odd lay out, I basically circle the outside of the store, with a few runs down middle aisles –They have self serve soup and olive stands, which I find gross. It would be easy(and more sanitary) to put those behind a counter –Smaller beer selection than I’d expect, often have to go other places for beer — The employees are open for questions, but don’t ever seem that happy to be there — Any sort of Trader Joe’s/Sprouts/etc would give this store a run for it’s money in the area. They just put in an Trader Joe’s an exit east on the 56, and I bet that will effect the number of customers this Vons gets. In the end, it’s not worth it to go up to Ralph’s and fight to get a spot, when this one is so much easier to get to and find parking at.

I don’t grocery shop at Vons because I don’t believe in paying more for the same exact product just because it’s in a Vons instead of Food 4 Less, Ralphs, etc. It’s the only grocer near work though, so I do come here when I need to grab something quick or we feel like eating their hot foods. The hot foods aren’t terrible, but I stick with their chicken tenders. The chicken tenders aren’t greasy, they’re perfectly crunchy, the fried batter has great taste(not too salty), the chicken meat is always super tender and juicy, and the price is right. They also have a Panda Express, Starbucks, and Jamba Juice inside this Vons location. One stop shop for everyone!

They have messed up on almost all my prescriptions. Missing one or not getting the script for an order when it was sent directly to them! Very slow

A great Von’s store. An in store Jamba Juice, a Starbucks, parking, and a self check. Very nice overall. Very helpful staff, and they even sell stamps. The stamps are forever, and so is my love for this Von’s.

Vons is situated conveniently by the freeway off of the Carmel Creek exit and is the main grocery store for the nearby area. The customer service at the Starbuck’s inside Vons is excellent! Also located inside Vons is a Jamba Juice, Panda Express, and the Von’s deli. When I come here I usually take advantage of the self-checkouts which is a breeze to use. Overall I come here for quick groceries, but mainly I love coming here to get my Starbucks fix and I’m a BIG fan of *GT’s Kombucha* Synergy Chia drinks. I drink up and the Kombucha or Starbucks Tea drink gives the extra boost my day needs! ;)

Update: attitude much improved! The young asian guy who seems to run the pharmacy has got to be nicer to people. I mean, we all have bad days, bad… decades, even, I guess. But this is a very public-facing job, and this guy acts like a bit of a jerk. I’ve seen him be condescending and rude to his employees, and he’s been rude and out of line with me several times. Boo.

This is a decent Vons, but not great by any means… The layout is a bit odd and doesn’t really flow all that well. It is always crowded and there are always confused people walking around lol… At least they have a jamba juice and a bank inside, which is cool if you can find them lol, hint as you enter the doors immediately turn left. The checkout lines are always long and the workers never seem happy here, not quite sure why. This place is also pretty dang expensive, but may be a bit cheaper than the other stores in the area… Cough Ralph’s! Anywho, this location is convenient and will get you everything you need, it just may take a bit longer than expected.

This is a great Vons. It is large and has huge aisles, a jamba juice, tons of produce but because I frequent Ralphs I do not know where anything is. It’s weird to have frozen foods all the way against the wall by the bank. I remember they used this set up in the old days. The checkers are nice too. They have redbox too. I prefer Ralphs but if your a Vons fan, this is a good one!

This Vons is soooo confusing with the layout. So the frozen food is all the way over to the left(Past floral, produce and the Jamba Juice –yep! They have a Jamba juice inside!) then around the back end it’s meat… and right next to meat is… The pharmacy? What? Dairy is down a middle isle and the bakery and deli meet on the right. Don’t even get my started on how the organize the center of the store. It’s anarchy. That being said. There IS Kale Korner. And it can only be described as this great corner with a bunch of kale. And they DO have a Starbucks, Coinstar and Redbox inside. There’s a Well Fargo bank in the parking lot… AND one inside if your lazy. They DON“T seem to EVER have the grilled chicken. Like ever. If your hunting for cougars and believe in picking up on women in grocery stores, this is paradise. All in all, it’s my new local grocery store-and I’ll learn to find my way around. If you find a redhead in the cereal isle looking lost and panicked, just point me towards the doors…

If you have ever been to a Vons, then you know what to expect. The stores often feel like you have been transported back to 1997. This location Is big, convenient, and has decent prices. Big plus here is the instore Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Rx and Wells Fargo. This particular location has a massive wine /liquor aisle with great selections on higher end bottles. For example, if you needed a six pack of Cristal Champagne(because you just won the lottery) they have it. Produce section is passable. Send an SOS for the meat and seafood section. The bakery is ok — except they have a large wood fired oven; flames blazing away — and the thing is just for aesthetics. That’s right, they dont ever use it for cooking. Wastes ofs energys. The parking lot is always crazy busy and offers a high probability for door dings. Look towards the south end of the parking lot for relief OR there is some parking in the back(tip tip.) Remember to bring your own bags.
