U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

Made a reservation a week in advance for a 17 ft u-​haul truck for 9:00 AM on a Saturday so we could move to our new apt. The night before… we got a call that they would not have a truck for us in the morning, even though we had a reservation??? We were told that if we wanted to wait until the afternoon, there might be one available at another dealer if we were willing to drive to Midway. We called other places, but everything was reserved. Sooo we were out of luck.

I’ve been here before a few time for oil changes, but this was my first time renting a Uhaul from them. Not only have they always been friendly and helpful, but they are quick and the price is right. Yesterday I rented a truck from them for 4 hours, and was supposed to have it back by 6pm. There was an issue with the apartment I was supposed to be moving into and after I had already loaded my life into the truck, realized I wasn’t going to be able to move in and get it back until after 9am the next day. I called and explained my situation and true to form Mike and Michael explained to me that it would not be an issue and to get it back whenever I could. I was not charged for the extra day and handing the truck over took a total of 2 minutes. Will definitely be going back next time I need to rent.
