Cute name, great boba, shitty parking on a busy night in Hillcrest. Had my boyfriend drop me off at the loading zone so I can get my boba fix. SERVICE: A+. The cashier was very informative and he showed me the tea leaves they use to make the drinks. They even offered to remake it if I didn’t like it. That’s great service right there! I will be back :)

The last time I wrote my review was a couple of months ago and it looks like the staff is new. I love the milk tea I was always get half sweetener because I like mine on the less sweet side. I got the large black sugar milk tea with boba. They really do have good boba here. It comes warm in your drink and is soft to chew. Boba can be overwhelming to chew after awhile when it tough and hard but not here. The girls seriously made my drink in 30 – 40 seconds. I walked away went around the edge to grab a straw and she handed the drink over. Totally different service since my last visit, keep these girls they are impressive.

I have been going here since they opened this location and have loved every visit. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious coffee! My girl love our coffee stops here because the baristas know there names and how they like their drinks. Also, I recently switched to decaf, so the fact they can make me decaf lattes is huge! Love, love, love them. The other location is great, too!

They have adapted the Starbucks style of trying to sell baked goods and beverages other than their milk teas and coffee. Their drinks are usually made very sweet. I once asked for less sweetness and it turned out good for me. Howevwr, their tapiocas felt like Cavity every time you bite down on it.(Tooooooo sweet). Don’t get me wrong tho. Workers are very nice.

This is for the Trinitea Milk tea with honey boba. Pros: –sweet cashier girl –10% off with check in –multiple types of toppings/bobos –variety of drinks –spacey –reasonable price –I like how the boba was sweetened with honey Cons: –too sweet, probably because the drink was too sweet on top of the sweet honey boba(maybe reduce the sweetness on the drink since the boba is sweet already) –hard boba –taste like soy milk –tea flavor isn’t strong doesn’t come through *maybe I just came on a bad day, I hope to try again since the worker was nice and the place is chill

This is my favorite boba place. I come here a lot! I am obsessed with their taro milk tea with boba. Their boba is amazing(although a couple of times i could tell it was old) but it is usually great. Free wifi is always a thumbs up. The place isn’t that big but they still have a lot of chairs and tables. You can also reserve their big room for a group study which is awesome! Almost all the staff I’ve met are friendly. I would give them 5 starts but their pastry selection isn’t so great. I hope they could improve their selection and always make sure its freshness. I bought a bagel one time and it was old, it was very hard and could barely chew it. But overall, milk teas are great! I also recommend wintermelon and their signature trinitea tea!

Cute small tea shop. Lots of couches to lounge and sip. The cashier is informative and friendly. I ordered a Trinitea and a Thai tea and they were great! There is an option to sweeten your tea with honey or even half the amount of sugar. I appreciate having those kinds of choices. THANKS! At the register there are bottled beverages for purchase. If the tea doesn’t satisfy that sweet tooth they do offer small baked good including macarons. With a 10% Unilocal discount this tea shop is worth a stop!

Okay I have officially become addicted to the Moroccan Mint Tea extra hot no Boba with honey not sugar. Every freaking time I come here I attempt to try something new. I tell myself if will and I put the thought into my head that I need to venture out and experiance new tea flavors. I walk in to the familiar smell of the coffee beans mixed with the lovely loose leaf tea(I almost look forward to the smell just as much as I do the tea now) & order the same drink every time. The only aspect of this place that sometimes I wish would get a bit better is the food. I got macaroons last time and they just seemed a little old like they were crunchy and I have had them other placed where they don’t have a crunch factor and I think I tend to favor the non crunchy better. They have a quiet study room which is nice. They also have a table and chairs set up out front with water bowls for kujo, but the chair leg was broken last time and my friend almost fell out of the chair(hillarious for me not so much for them) hope they get it fixed soon! None the less I love this place it has totally replaced tapioca hut for me.

I have been going here for over a year now, and it’s consistently good. This is my go-to spot for when I have a craving for boba. My favorite drink would have to be the wintermelon, no ice with double boba. I have tried other drinks and they are also very delicious! The workers there are also super nice and a few even remember my order. The place is also very clean, including their restroom(which I’m usually super finicky about).

My fiancé and I got the taro ice slush and pineapple strawberry ice slush. Both were pretty good =) Only negative thing is it was packed with people inside so we had to find a place outside. Luckily we were able to find chairs =)

Came here for some drinks. It was hot out and needed a mango slush with boba. As we walk in, you can feel the air conditioning on. A major plus on a hot day! Hubby orders me a mango slush with boba and my daughter a raspberry yogurt slush with boba. Hubby is not a boba drink kind of guy. I really enjoyed my mango slush with boba. The boba was soft and texture was perfect. It was sweet with a soft chewy texture. I’m such a boba fan. Mango tasted fresh. I see hints of mango in my slush. Perfect drink! Yum! There are tables in the middle, a private room in the back and comfy couches near the entrance. There’s also a very clean restroom in the back for guys and girls. It’s a unisex bathroom. I like the vibe here. It feels like you are at a Starbucks without the free wifi. This place was one of my bucket list of bookmarked places. I definitely liked the drinks here. I will definitely be back if we are in the area!

Great tea selections, my daughters favorite place to go for Thai tea with boba. Prices are good & they do have a punch card for frequent buyers. They don’t have much of a food selection, it’s primarily drinks but worth going to for fun.

Mixed emotions about this place… I guess my expectations were high bc of the reviews… There’s plenty of tables and chairs, and the separate room you can«reserve» is pretty cool. The place was also pretty clean. But it didn’t have that cozy feel to it. And their was this mild scent of cleaner or bleach in the air. We went here earlier today(Sunday early afternoon), it was a rare super rainy day, so that may have affected my desire for a warm environment… Anyways, our group ordered several different drinks. I kept its simple with a Thai iced tea with boba. So I do get boba every once in a while, but I’m definitely not an expert… So to me, while it tasted good, it also tasted pretty average. I couldn’t taste anything that would set it apart. My kid got a vanilla blended drink which I tasted and have the same opinion. Good, but nothing I can tell that sets it apart. I was also disappointed at the pastry display that was pretty limited. On appearance, it didn’t seem too Fresh either. I have a definite sweet tooth, and nothing caught my attention. I was also hoping for macarons, which were not there. Service was okay, straightforward and quick. Not necessarily welcoming or friendly though… I like that this place is spacious, and has plenty of tables… I wish I was more dazzled by the drinks though. But Other than the good company I had, everything else seemed a bit average. 3.5 stars if I could

Clearly their tea is what they are known for. Maybe coming here for coffee was a mistake… I will not come back here unless there are some serious changes made. My boyfriend and I decided to grab a cup of coffee together once he got off work. We were going to head to Starbucks but decided to check out Trinitea as we drive past it all the time and I like supporting smaller businesses. It started off fine, my boyfriend ordered a small cappuccino and I a small almond latte along with a cheese Danish and a lemon bar. Our order was just under $ 10. We picked a spot over by the window to sit. The bag of the pastries stated«baked fresh daily» and I cannot assume that to be true as my cheese Danish was anything but fresh. It was extremely hard so I asked them to warm it up a bit to hopefully help remedy the problem. It helped but I wouldn’t waste my money on purchasing a Danish here again. The lemon bar on the other hand was pretty tasty. My coffee was ok. I can’t really complain that it was«too almondy» because it’s all in the name. It was at this time I discovered I wasn’t as big of an almond fanatic as I thought I was. My boyfriend was not a fan of his cappuccino either and swapped it for a regular coffee. They did inquire as to why he didn’t like it which is great from a customer service standpoint. My big issue was the CLEANLINESS of this establishment. As we pulled our chairs away from the walls to play connect four(the only plus about this place) we discovered a variety of dead bugs and spider webs in the corner. Deep cleaning doesn’t seem to be popular here. Which immediately made me not want to drink my coffee any longer. If the employees can’t be bothered to pull chairs away from a wall to sweep what would make me think they are doing any sort of deep cleaning on the machines? For a small business there is a small margin of error. For a business that is competing with a Starbucks less then a mile away the margin for error is even smaller. I was deeply disturbed with how dirty this establishment was and immediately regretted eating anything that was kept here and no longer wanted to drink my coffee… Maybe it’s just me but I’m kind of picky about the cleanliness of restaurants. Oh ya, to top it off, instead of the employees deep cleaning on their downtime they were both sitting in chairs at the end of the bar, texting. If this were my business I would be furious.

Some of the boba in my large milk tea was too hard. I’m not sure what causes this, but it’s kinda gross. My large milk tea tasted more like milk, and less like tea. They make it from brewed tea, they say, but they definitely need to make the tea stronger, or use more tea and less milk. I did ask for a strong milk tea, but ended up with a weak tea. Trinitea is clean inside, with comfty choices of places to sit. The staff is pleasant. They have milk teas, coffees, smoothies, and sweets. If only the milk tea was stronger, and if only the boba was all tender & chewy, but not hard… I’d be a fan. The parking lot is narrow, but I found a spot.

WooHOOOOO. I finally found delicious boba in San Carlos! I’m not sure why I didn’t find this gem before, but I’m glad I did! I ended up getting the Lychee slurpee with lychee jelly and honey boba. Very delicious! My friend got the Almond Green Tea w/boba(her first time trying boba). She loved it. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and even offered us a sample of their«AWARDWINNING2013BEST tasting BOBA» I can’t wait to go back!

Cool place, tasty tea, and amazing service. It seems like a lot of college kids like to come here for a quiet place to do some studying, so let’s appreciate and respect their silence please.
