I am super bummed out that this place is no longer open. Ever since my first visit I have been looking forward to my return. It was a great bar with good people and great food, the pulled pork was fire. So long Tinys Tavern, if you ever reopen or the owner gets a new place just let me know and I’ll be by as soon as possible :)

I would love to give this place a ZERO star rating for the simply fact I don’t want more people to know about it but I wont be selfish. This place is now my home away from home. AMAZING food! Best burger in San Diego. The owner and all the bartenders are very friendly. It’s becoming my Cheer’s in San Diego. Slowly, everyone knows my name.(insert the Cheer’s theme song) Oh, and don’t let the name full you. It’s not a tiny place. The outside patio rocks! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - UPDATE: TINY’S ISNOWOFFICIALLYCLOSEDAT4745VOLTAIRE. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

I love Tiny’s! The food is great and the atmosphere is really laid back. I absolutely love the carne asada nachos! It comes LOADED!!! = D I love coming here with my bf and the neighbors to play pool and hang out. I heard they were closing soon so that’s really unfortunately since I love this place.

Amazing local dive bar! Beer Only! That’s fine. Decent draft selection and solid pub food. Pool and shuffle board to boot.

This place has quite a divey feel, and I think the bar food is unique. There are a bunch of Hawaiian-type selections, and I really enjoyed my kalbi with rice(much better than L&L’s). I appreciated the ginormous portion, but the meat was a bit fatty, which is, honestly, not unexpected for this cut. As I had done my research, I wasn’t surprised to see the Packers flag outside the bar. I got there about 20 minutes before the game and we snagged three seats near the main TV, conveniently located next to the covered pool table which served as our dining surface. They show the Packers game on the largest TV inside; the Chargers game was playing as well, for those of you who like that sort of thing(aka being disappointed on the weekly). Speaking of disappointment, don’t even get me started on that NFC championship game… for years I’ve been saying that Mike McCarthy needs to be fired. Hello– download some football strategy books on your Microsoft Surface! But, I digress. Come here if you’re a Packers fan or if you like your bar fare to be on the delicious side of the spectrum.

Good food and cheap beer pitchers. They have 3 pool tables, a shuffle board and a huge jenga that is usually outside in their patio. What more can you ask for? :)

This is a great place! Always friendly staff and regulars! There is a smoking patio and the menu is great for a bar. Lots of variety, fresh fish, and vegetarian friendly.

Just finished up watching the charger game here today and I can say the place is solid. They’ve got big tv’s all over the place. I got a few beers and was able to relax with my friends. The area is clean, and they had a lot of chargers fans in there showing support so you gotta give them props for that. Beer is reasonably priced and you can’t beat the atmosphere. I really enjoyed this place, and I think you’ll also like it.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. This place advertises itself as a Packers bar. In addition to only having ONETV set to the game they did not play the sound. If you are looking for a Packers bar in San Diego, DONOTCOMETOTHISPLACE! I would give this place zero stars if I could.

Great place to watch football. Screens galore! Food is typical bar fare with Hawaiian options. Sliders were overcooked. Kalbi ribs were slathered with thick, sweet glaze.

I found my way into Tiny’s because I saw it listed as a Packer’s bar and I was over going to Beachwood for games. It was love at first visit. I’m a dive bar kinda girl and this is absolutely a dive bar. The area in the back has a tiki bar vibe with picnic tables and a few tvs for games. It gets shoulder to shoulder packed during Packers games, so get there early if you want a seat. Mimosas are strong and tasty. Everything I’ve had from the kitchen is amazing. The only thing that I don’t like is that they allow smoking on the back patio. Gross. Even so, I can’t wait for football season to get started again!

A great sports bar. A great local hangout. A great spot to get some grub. We love this place. The menu is surprisingly great for a bar. Salads, fish, Hawaiian plates, and awesome bartenders. They have an outdoor area that gets pretty smokey, pool tables and shuffleboard. Plus a sweet tiger striped bar top! Been coming here for years. Closed now. Bummer

We get a group of people together every time we go to Tiny’s, most of the time we go to grab a few pitchers of beer and sliders(they are good & cheap) and we chill out on the patio. I don’t really know anything else on their food menu, and I don’t think I’ll explore it, Tiny’s is just a chill place to bring some friends and hang out for a bit, it’s your average dive bar. The bar area kinda smells bad, but once again it falls on being a typical dive bar. Lots of TV’s, a few pool tables, jukebox, pinball game — that’s the meat and potatoes of Tiny’s. There’s about 8 — 10 beers on tap, I think they serve wine as well? You’ll meet some cool people here, along with some real odd balls, and I guess that’s just typical OB for ya. But, at least it’s not on Newport and the outside isn’t crawling with junkies. I like this place for it’s location and because usually there isn’t any douchebags. I’ve never seen a fight break out here. It’s not the most amazing place, but it’s a great place to pre game. I give it 5 stars just because of the sliders, the bartenders here are friendly and I usually meet some interesting people. Oh, and if you get a few people together and you’re not a fan of awkward silence, grab the box o’ mega jenga blocks. So much fun, especially reading all the crazy crap people have written on them.

Great place to watch some football on Sunday. They play every game on various TVs. Definitely gets pretty loud, but people are cool. even among rival teams. My breakfast burrito was really good! And they were super generous with the champs in my mimosa.

Love hanging with puppies while I imbibe. As people have said, better than average pub food, most notably the hawaiian pork sliders and wings. I am totally comfortable with the lack of liquor — it means you don’t have people getting crazy sloppy drunk from fireball shots — and the beer selection is, though not astounding, wide enough that you can probably find something you want to drink. The juke box is decent, and giant jenga is a good time if there’s room for it, but really this is a good place for some football, some beer and maybe some shuffleboard if you’re feeling tipsy and adventurous. Solid neighborhood bar.
