I read some pretty decent reviews on Unilocal.Decided to walk here to bar hop, and I literally left after i walked in. The bar is super small and crowded. I waited at the bar for about 5 minutes for a drink and the bartender never once came on my side. Very full bar that night.

Was there for a #USC football game, the«non-sanctioned, non-official» type since they don’t have any game watch locations in the beach areas(duh!!), so the crowd was only 15+ or so of us and we mostly had the place to ourselves on a Sat afternoon. They took good care of us though. Cheap beers and shots, free bar snacks, cool bartender. Check-in on Unilocal and the bartender will give you a free Hi-Five, lol! They have some pinball and a bball hoops game and others. I’d like to check out the later evening crowd some time.

A dream come true for a displaced Seattle native! Seriously, I couldn’t believe my eyes as I drove down Mission Blvd at 9:30am to the sight of droves of Seahawks jerseys flocking in the same direction. Such a great atmosphere, especially for a Hawks fan! Everyone cheers together, high fives, wins, and loses together. I’ll definitely miss this place when I move to Santa Barbara.

Seattle seahawks bar! Awesome place! I love the lighting and feel. They play cool mixed hip hop. Sometimes they need more bar tenders though. There is a front, middle and back section

My brother and I was Seahawk Bar Hoping and ended up here to watch the game. Great place to meet other Seahawk fans. Prices was fair and not expensive. Definitely coming back again.

I can’t believe I’ve lived near this bar for over 2 years and this was my first time making it in! The setup is like a long hallway and there are games to play towards the back(ski-ball, corn hole, video games). I was most pleasantly surprised to find that they accepted credit cards. Owned by the same guys as the Sycamore Den, this bar also has the 70’s vibe down. I asked the bartender and it sounds like the décor is the same décor that came with the bar when they bought it. The bathrooms are updated and don’t really go with the rest of the décor, but I was grateful for that because I was expecting something a lot more run down and dirty. There is even a beautiful rock mosaic in the ladies bathroom. Drinks are very reasonable and the vibe is laid back during the day, though it gets a little more rowdy as the night goes on. Skip the photobooth on the way out. The camera is broken and is faced at an awkward angle so that only someone on the right side of the booth would be in the photo.

I went here for the first Seahawks game of the season. I can’t say anything good or bad really, but this was my experience. We waited outside to get in for about 10 min, once we got in we could barely move it was packed. The people sitting at the tables had hoards of people standing over them. I stood in the back and could barely see because tall people kept stopping and standing right in front of me. They have alot of TVs, but they are all small. During the commercials, whenever the football hasn’t been snapped(including commentary or anything you might actually want to hear) they play really loud music, so don’t expect to hear the half time show or anything. Surprisingly, getting beer didn’t take long. I personally will not be going back because not being able to see or hear the game commentary bothers me, but the place is full of Seahawks fans so if you want to be surrounded by them(some real, some just bothering people trying to watch the game) then this place is for you. Go Hawks.

I may be bias. It’s a little bit of home here. Drinks are fair priced. It’s maintained a clean and fun crowd.

Gotta love a dive bar every once and a while and this is the place to go. Cornhole when it’s not too busy. DJ when it gets busier. Photo machine in the front and Dana is the best bartender! They have cheese goldfish for bar mix. Ask for what deals they have. They usually have $ 5 or $ 6 jamo shots for happy hour. Nice selection of beers on draft! Fun stop to end the night.

I’ll write this review now… sober…(midnight on a Friday!) because if I try to write it after Thrust-ing it would be 2:00 am(or 2:30 am if we went to Cheba Hut for late night-early morning eats) and it wouldn’t make an ounce of sense. But if I did it might resemble something like this: I LIVETHISPLKACE!!! We’re old. We don’t like traveling far from the abode, and we’re cheap. So we like a good pregame. We also sometimes like dancing(aka Thrust-ing) and we tend to roll on out solely to this place, anytime between 11:00 pm and midnight. We almost always end up with pounders(they used to… Maybe still do? Have a 40s night!) and if we’re lucky, a ridiculous dance-off. Around 1:30 am the lights come on and the bouncers form a line and start pushing the crowd out of the long, hallway shaped space. Highly effective and very efficient but no lingering till closing time. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s either packed or completely empty. More often than not, it’s a cheap, unpretentious, and entertaining time. Videos on point, late night clientele(warning: sometimes a sausage fest) well worth watching and/or joining, and DJs hit-or-miss. But with the green lights flashing, bass thumping, and drinks downing, what can go wrong?!

Walking to the beach we saw a sidewalk sign proclaiming $ 3 shots of Jameson. I’m a whiskey lover at heart so I’d be loath to pass that by. In we went and were met by a patron’s sweet, super chill dog; I took this as an indication that Thrusters is a dog friendly lounge, as most seaside establishments tend to be in SoCal. Yes! We were greeted by the bartender who served us up the drinks lightning fast and wrapped up our tab within a matter of minutes. The vibe of the place was really laid back and it seems like a place where I would like to go to spend some time unwinding, but they also proved that they could provide swift in and out service as well. Bonus! Bartender had a great attitude! Fast, friendly, and jovial. Winning combination. I will most assuredly be coming back when in the area.

I’ve only been here on a Saturday night but it was cool. The building is long and narrow so it was a tight space. There are tables and room to dance. TVs were every where and very distracting with the funny bloopers. It was a bit odd because it felt like a mix of sports bar and club. The music was good. This place is a four star when comparing to PB hang outs. And as with all of PB, the dress code is super casual.

Great dive bar in PB. Very friendly staff and a great tap list of local beers. Surprisingly spacious inside and their bathrooms are very nice and clean.

Usually completely packed, or completely empty. I used to hate coming here, but I’ve learned to love it, one $ 3 pint at a time. The owner is cool(makes a mean old fashioned!), the bartenders are all great, and I love dive bars. I actually just hang out here with my puppy when my man’s at work.(It’s not sad and lonely when you have your puppy with you, right?) Its my go-to bar, out of all the debaucherous choices in PB. Their only downfall is that they stopped having Magic Hat on tap. Shame shame. Still love it here. Yea, I said it! Save yourself some time, ask for their beer list. Oh and if it weren’t completely apparent right away, its a Seahawks bar. Still love it, in spite of…

The bartender with the red shorts ignored me while asking my group of fiends which were all guys, for more drinks as I sat there. I work in hospitalty so I understand a volume Of customers but it was not busy when this occurred. I would appreciate some respect of service

I had realized that my wife and I booked our San Diego trip that was to occur at the same time as the NFC Championship game. Seeing as the Seahawks were playing the Packers for the chance to get back into the Superbowl, we needed to find a place that would(A) have the game on and(B) be Seahawk friendly. After searching on Google, Thruster’s looked promising, so we decided to jump in the rental car and head to Pacific Beach. Since Thruster’s had advertised as the official viewing party for Seahawk fans, we made sure to arrive early as we weren’t sure how packed it would get for the game. We got there three hours early, and the place was already pretty busy. Thruster’s had a DJ inside the bar and a full viewing party with an outdoor projector, seating and a taco truck. We decided to grab some tacos(which were fabulous) and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. Thruster’s had plenty of beers on tap, and man were they cheap! After hanging out for almost 6 hours, and about 10 pints later(between 2 people), our total bill was only a little over $ 30. Their special was $ 3 dollar beers, and that included their microbrews. Our bartender was very attentive, even with a full house. If they ever had to go through a stress test, like on the TV show Bar Rescue, they would easily pass with flying colors. Thruster’s will always have a special place in my heart. As I was able to witness the comeback victory, surrounded by a bunch of other Hawk fans in SD. The next time I’m in SD, I’ll be sure to make a second visit to Thrusters.

A good alternative when other bars such as duck dive are too crowded. It’s a very simple bar and on the smaller side but it’s fun to sit at one of the tables in back with your friends. Drinks are on the cheaper side and you can get them quickly because it’s never too packed. Definitely an underrated bar with potential.

Fun, divey bar. The two bartenders working were super sweet and poured up some decent drinks. The dj started off really great but slowly got weird.

Pretty much the best place outside of the Pacific Northwest to watch a Seahawks game with fellow 12’s. Great brew selection too and who can beat their delicious $ 4 bloody mary?

Who knew that this great place is THE«gathering spot for Seattle Seahawks Fans»?! Wow, is all I can say! They rocked it! And the owner is a great guy. He had his«mixologist» make a delicious mocktail that was better than any cocktail I’ve ever had!
