The Pink Party is a great fundraiser and an awesome event! Designed to raise awareness (and funds) for breast cancer, the organizer (Sonya) brings together a myriad of performers, artists, and volunteers for an outrageously unforgettable night. Wild costumes, lots of pink, and lots of fun. If you haven’t been to a Pink Party yet, I must encourage you to go. Last year and this year the event was held at the House of Blues. I stumbled upon the Pink Party in 2009, and the event exceeded all my expectations. Everywhere you look it’s pink — the costumes, the decorations, the cocktails. The performers kept the party going for hours with DJ’s, live bands, dancers, hoopers, and nonstop activity. This year is sure to be the same — music, runway fashion show, silent auction, photo booth, great pink cocktails, and lots of creative & beautiful pink outfits. Even the guys all wear pink!
I love knowing that all this pink partying raises money for breast cancer prevention and support for those going through breast cancer. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday night out with my friends. We’ll be there Oct 16!
