I went because i was craving tamales and i saw the two good reviews and the little carts usually are pretty good so i gave it a shot but they were terrible i regret buying so many they were just awful i had beef and pork. The pork smelled like it wasnt cleaned all the way and the beef tasted like rubber in burnt red sauce im not really picky about tamales either i just love the masa and the meat on the inside is an added bonus but i couldnt even enjoy the masa because the inside was so terrible

Best tamales in town! This tamale cart is located in a little strip mall on the corner of Marlborough Avenue and University across from Burger King. The mole tamal is cooked the Salvadorean way in a banana leaf. All the tamales are good and they also have a drink called champurrado. I don’t know what else to tell you other than, YOUHAVETOTRYTHISTAMALES. From the 15 northbound, exit University and make a right, go down about 2 blocks and as you aproach Marlborough make a right into the Western Dental strip mall. You can’t miss the cart right in front of the check cashing place. Bring cash, don’t need much cause the prices are rediculously low but, they don’t take credit cards. I pick up tamales almost every Sunday for my guys at work, they love them!
